  • In a personalized product recommendation system, when the amount of log data is large or sparse, the accuracy of model recommendation will be greatly affected. To solve this problem, a personalized product recommendation method using deep factorization machine (DeepFM) to analyze user behavior is proposed. Firstly, the K-means clustering algorithm is used to cluster the original log data from the perspective of similarity to reduce the data dimension. Then, through the DeepFM parameter sharing strategy, the relationship between low- and high-order feature combinations is learned from log data, and the click rate prediction model is constructed. Finally, based on the predicted click-through rate, products are recommended to users in sequence and fed back. The area under the curve (AUC) and Logloss of the proposed method are 0.8834 and 0.0253, respectively, on the Criteo dataset, and 0.7836 and 0.0348 on the KDD2012 Cup dataset, respectively. Compared with other newer recommendation methods, the proposed method can achieve better recommendation effect.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the replacement of fish meal (FM) with a plant and animal protein mixture (wheat gluten, soy protein concentrate, tankage meal and poultry by-product meal) in the diets of juvenile olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. The basal diet was formulated to contain 65% FM (Con). Four other experimental diets were formulated with alternative proteins replacing 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% of FM (FM20, FM30, FM40 and FM50, respectively). Taurine and betaine were added to the FM replacement diets. Triplicate groups of fish (mean±SD, 5.41±0.01) were fed the diets to apparent satiation for 15 weeks. After the feeding trial, no significant differences were found between any dietary groups in growth performance, feed utilization, survival, hematological parameters or whole-body composition. This result indicates that a proper mixture of the four protein sources with taurine and betaine supplements can be used as FM replacement to reduce FM levels from 65% to 32.5% in juvenile olive flounder diets.

  • To investigate the chilling sensitivity related injuries in the photosynthetic apparatus of cucumber leaves, the light-chilling induced alterations of chlorophyll fluorescence transients in cucumber leaves were compared with those in pea leaves. As an early effect of light-chilling, an increase in Fp/Fm$^*$ was observed in both pea and cucumber leaves, which was saturated by about 6 h chilling. However, the saturated value of Fp/Fm was almost 1.0 in cucumber, in contrast to about 0.8 in pea. During the recovery period after 24 h chilling, the light-chilling induced changes in pea seemed to be reversed, but those in cucumber leaves were thought to be irreversible, because Fo was increased significantly. Light-chilling caused significant decreases in qQ and qE in cucumber leaves, but qR was increased until 6 h, and decreased thereafter. In both pea and cucumber leaves, Fm was increased by 2 h dark treatment. The Fm from the predarkened pea leaf discs was higher than the value from the preilluminated ones during the whole period of light-chilling (500 $\mu$mol m$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$ PAR). However, the predarkened cucumber leaf discs showed a reduction in Fm and an increase in Fo during the 2 h chilling in the light. These results indicate that the causes of chilling sensitivities in photosynthetic apparatus of cucumber leaves are possibly related with the damage in PSI reaction center and the ability of acidification of lumen by PSII.

  • For the case of using analog FM system and CDMA system together in the mobile communications, we experimentally calculate the appropriate frequency offset to improve the frequency efficiency by analizing the interference between both systems. As the results of the analysis, we obtained that frequency offset is 840KHz(Path Loss : 80dB) and 720KHz(Path Loss : 120dB) for the Path Loss when a output of CDMA Base Station is 0.91 W ERP. Therefore, to minimize the frequency offset, a output of Base Station will be controlled corresponding to Cover Area.

  • A 4-week feeding experiment was conducted with juvenile white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei to compare the growth of shrimp fed different protein sources: fish meal (FM) and soybean meal (SM). By the end of the experiment, the shrimp grew to $4.50{\pm}0.82$ g (FM) and $4.73{\pm}0.95$ g (SM). The food and protein conversion rates were significant (P<0.05), while other factors did not differ significantly. The survival rate of shrimp fed FM and SM was $96.44{\pm}2.04%$ and $97.33{\pm}1.89%$, respectively. The proximate compositions of the entire body and edible part of the shrimp were similar between FM and SM, except for crude protein. The total amino acid levels were slightly lower in SM than FM, but the difference was not significant. During the experiment, the total ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite concentrations increased continuously in both groups and were slightly higher in SM than FM. In conclusion, soybean meal as a substitute for fish meal results in satisfactory growth and survival of white shrimp.

  • A frequency modulated ultra-wideband (FM-UWB) transmitter with a high-robust relaxation oscillator for subcarrier generation and a dual-path Ring VCO for RF FM is proposed, featuring low power and low complexity. A prototype 3.65-4.25 GHz FM-UWB transceiver employing the presented transmitter is fabricated in $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS for short-range wireless data transmission. Experimental results show a bit error rate (BER) of $10^{-6}$ at a data rate of 12.5 kb/s with a communication distance of 60 cm is achieved and the power dissipation of 4.3 mW for the proposed transmitter is observed from a 1.8 V supply.

  • In this paper, presented is the result of a digital implementation of a FM stereo composite signal generator. The chip utilizing DDFS(Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizer architecture is implemented using $1.0\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS gate-array technology thereby replacing analog componentry. To verify the process of generating composite signals a conventional logic simulation method was used. The processed chip was mounted on an evaluation PCB to test and analyze to signals. According to the measurement result obtained by using a 12-bit DAC, the digital FM composite signal generator produces a 74DB spectrally pure signal over its entire tuning range, which is superior to that of analog counterpart by 14dB in it spectral reponse. And further enhancements of the spectral response is expected to be achieved by using a high resolution digital to analog converter, such as a 16-bit DAC. The resulting signals is superior to the signal of the analoy circuitry typically used, in major characteristics such as S/N ratios, accuracy, tuning stability, and signal seperation.

  • Background: This study aimed to investigate the effect of strenuous exercise on ${\beta}$-endorphine (${\beta}$-END) level in fibromyalgia (FM) patients compared to healthy subjects. Methods: We enrolled 30 FM patients and 15 healthy individuals. All study participants underwent a treadmill exercise test using modified Bruce protocol (M.Bruce). The goal of the test was achieving at least 70% of the predicted maximal heart rate (HRMax). The serum levels of ${\beta}$-END were measured before and after the exercise program. Measurements were done while heart rate was at least 70% of its predicted maximum. Results: The mean ${\pm}$ the standard deviation (SD) of exercise duration in the FM and control groups were $24.26{\pm}5.29$ and $29.06{\pm}3.26$ minutes, respectively, indicating a shorter time to achieve the goal heart rate in FM patients (P < 0.003). Most FM patients attained 70% HRMax at lower stages (stage 2 and 3) of M.Bruce compared to the control group (70% versus 6.6%, respectively; P < 0.0001). Compared to healthy subjects, FM patients had lower serum ${\beta}$-END levels both in baseline and post-exercise status ($Mean{\pm}SD$: $122.07{\pm}28.56{\mu}g/ml$ and $246.55{\pm}29.57{\mu}g/ml$ in the control group versus $90.12{\pm}20.91{\mu}g/ml$ and $179.80{\pm}28.57{\mu}g/ml$ in FM patients, respectively; P < 0.001). Conclusions: We found that FM patients had lower levels of ${\beta}$-END in both basal and post-exercise status. Exercise increased serum the ${\beta}$-END level in both groups but the average increase in ${\beta}$-END in FM patients was significantly lower than in the control group.

  • This experiment used chlorophyll fluorescence techniques to assess the effect of irradiant during leaf development on photoinhibition of photosynthesis in Panax ginseng. Seedlings of p. ginseng were grown in the 91asshouse at four shade levels. The maximum mid-day irradiant in each treatment between emergence (January 4) and completion of the experiment (February 25) was 1220, 485, 235, 125 $\mu$mol/$\textrm{m}^2$/s. To assess the rapidity of photosynthetic readaptation to changes in light levels, fluorescence parameters (Fo, F, Fm, Fm', AF/Fm;, Fv/Fm) were measured for three days before and after transfer of plants (on February 21) from each light treatment into each of the other light treatments. Before transfer, dark adapted values of Fv/Fm in the 1220 (0.699) and 485 (0.739) treatments were different from each other and lower than values in the 235 (0.764) and 125 (0.768) treatments, indicating mild photoinhibition. Patterns of change in F during the day also differed between treatments, with low light treatments tracking irradiant levels, but F in the high light treatment (1220) declined in the morning, presumably due to fluorescence quenching. Although plants grown at high irradiant had relatively low photosynthetic efficiency, relative electron transport rate was greater than in lower irradiant treatments. After transfer, plants adopted the daily pattern of change in F of the treatment to which they were moved with little change in absolute levels of F, except in plants transferred from the highest (1220) to the lowest light level (125), where F increased over the course of the three days following transfer. After plants were transferred, Fm' converged on values similar to those in plants raised in the treatments to which they were moved. Values of Fv/Fm in plants moved from low to high light declined dramatically, but there was no decline in plants from 485 moved to 1220. Values of Pv/Fm in plants that were moved from high light to lower light increased to values above those recorded in plants raised in the lower light treatments. Reductions in quantum efficiency caused by photoinhibition at high irradiant may be more than compensated for by higher electron transport rates, although evidence suggests that under high irradiant this tends to be balanced by reduced leaf area and earlier senescence. Chlorophyll fluorescence techniques appear capable of indicating effects of irradiant induced stress in ginseng, yielding results comparable to those obtained with gas exchange techniques but in less time and with greater replication.
