공간정보 기반 MTBF 분석을 활용한 최적의 FM 프로세스 개발 (Development of Optimal Facility Management (FM) Process Using Spatial-data-based Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) Analysis)

  • 건축물생애주기 중 유지관리단계는 비용적인 측면에서 그리고 건축물 가치 관리적인 측면에서 매우 중요한 단계이다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 아직 체계적이고 합리적인 유지관리 프로세스가 마련되어있지 않아 정확하고 선제적인 유지관리를 통한 건축물 가치상승 및 생애주기비용 관리를 적절하게 하지 못 하는 경우가 많다. 이러한 주된 원인은 유지관리 데이터에 대한 객관적인 분석을 토대로 한 프로세스를 구축하려는 노력이 미흡한 결과이다. 본 연구의 목적은 최적의 유지관리 프로세스를 개발하기 위한 기초연구로써 합리적인 유지관리 데이터 분석을 위한 데이터 체계를 구축하고, 이를 바탕으로 정량적 데이터분석에 기반 한 유지관리 프로세스를 제안하는데 있다. 본 연구는 유지관리 전문가 면담 및 관련 실무자료 분석을 통해 기존의 데이터체계를 검토하고, 그 한계점을 도출하였고 그에 대한 해답으로써 유지관리 분야의 정량적인 데이터 분석도구인 MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure)를 활용한 공간정보 기반 유지관리 데이터분석 방법을 제시하였다. 결과적으로 이러한 분석방법을 활용한 최적의 유지관리 프로세스를 제안하고 실제 유지관리 데이터에 이를 대입하여 그 효과성을 검증하였다. 체계적인 유지관리 실행을 위한 프레임으로써 활용이 될 경우 객관적이고 합리적인 유지관리 의사결정에 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 이를 바탕으로 한 시스템 개발 시 유용한 기초자료로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Quality Management (QM) Standard Issues in FM - Based on Guidance on quality in European FM Standard

  • Importance of FM has rapidly increased because of its growing business. However, due to lack of clarity and identity of FM in professional areas, standardization of FM became to be imperative in such a rapidly changing global business environment. Facility services are defined as the provision of support the primary activities of an organization, delivered by an internal or external provider. Majority of FM activities are services related to 'space and infrastructure' and 'people and organization' (CEN, 2011). The purpose of this study is to investigate definitions and characteristics of FM from both globally and domestic environment, by comparison with international or national standards, to identify quality management in FM and service characteristics of FM, to investigate the differences in service level elaboration in FM, and to suggest standard issues of quality management in FM service quality. This study examines contents of the European Standards in FM, Part 3 'Guidance on quality in Facility Management, especially for the process of QM standardized by CEN (2011) and explores undefined issues such as service level, measurement metrics according to service characteristics of FM. The European FM Standard guides the common process of QM in terms of requirements specification, service level elaboration, measurement metrics development although it does not specifically address various service levels, specific performance metrics and indicators.

  • 스퍼터링 방법으로 FM/M/FM의 다층박막을 증착한 다음 초소형 박막 인덕터를 제작하기 위하여 반도체 공정을 대체할 수 있는 레이저 미세가공 기술을 개발하였다. TE $M_{00}$ 모드로 발진하는 CW Nd:YAG 레이저를 active Q-switching 하여 펄스폭이 200 ns인 극 초단 레이저 펄스를 얻었다. 레이저 미세가공 조건을 반복율 5 kHz, 펄스 당 에너지 5 mJ/pulse로 최적화 하여 분해능이 20 $\mu\textrm{m}$인 line patterning을 얻었다.

  • Heritage buildings (HBs) as structures with historical and architectural relevance that form an integral part of contemporary society. HBs deserve to be protected for as long as possible to retain their significance. Therefore, prioritizing HB maintenance management (HBMM) is pertinent. However, the decision-making process of HBMM can be relatively daunting. The decision-making challenge may be attributed to the multiple 'stakeholders' expectation and requirement which needs to be met. To this end, professionals in the built environment have identified the need to apply the strategic concept of facilities management (FM) in decision making. However, studies exploring the application of FM in decision-making seem lacking. To bridge this gap, this study focuses on developing a framework for strategic decision-making HBMM, which helps achieve HBMM sustainability. At the study's inception, relevant works of literature in the domains of HBMM and FM were conducted. This review helped identify contemporary maintenance practices and their applicability to HBMM. Afterward, a conceptual framework to aid decision-making in HBMM was developed. This framework integrated the concept of FM scope (people, place, process, and technology) while ensuring that decisions and plans were made at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. The conceptual framework presents a holistic guide for professionals in HBMM to ensure that decision processes and outcomes are practical and efficient. It also contributes to the existing body of knowledge on the integration of FM in HBMM. Furthermore, it will help achieve HB sustainability through an effective decision-making process.

Zero-Crossing 복조기를 위한 $0.5{\mu}m$ CMOS FM 라디오 수신기 (A $0.5{\mu}m$ CMOS FM Radio Receiver For Zero-Crossing Demodulator)

  • 본 논문에서는 Zero-Crossing 복조기에 적합한 88MHz에서 108MHz 대역 FM 라디오 수신기를 $0.5{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계 및 제작하였다. 본 수신기는 Low-IF 구조를 기초로 설계되었으며, Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA), Down-Conversion Mixer, Phase locked loop (PLL), Low-pass filter (LPF), 비교기를 포함하는 RF/Analog 집적회로로 개발되었다. 측정결과 LNA와 Mixer를 포함하는 RF Block은 23.2dB의 변환 이득과 입력 PldB는 -14dBm였고 전체 잡음지수는 15 dB로 나타났다. IF단 LPF와 비교기를 포함하는 Analog Block은 89dB 이상의 전압 이득을 가지고, IC내부의 레지스터를 제어하여 600KHz에서 1.3MHz까지 100KHz 단위로 Passband 대역를 조절할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 설계된 수신기는 4.5V에서 동작하며, 전체 전류 소모는 15.3 mA로 68.85mW의 전력을 소모한다. 실험결과 성공적으로 FM 라디오 신호를 수신할 수 있었다.

Parameter Estimation of Linear-FM with Modified sMLE for Radar Signal Active Cancelation Application

  • This study examined a radar signal active cancelation technique, which is a theoretical way of achieving stealth by employing a baseband process that involves sampling the incoming hostile radar signal, analyzing its characteristics, and generating countermeasure signals to cancel out the linear-FM signal of the hostile radar signal reflected from the airborne target. To successfully perform an active cancelation, the effects of errors in the countermeasure signal were first analyzed. To generate the countermeasure signal that requires very fast and accurate processing, the down-sampling technique with the suboptimal maximum likelihood estimation (sMLE) scheme was proposed to improve the speed of the estimation process while preserving the estimation accuracy. The simulation results showed that the proposed down-sampling technique using a 2048 FFT size yields substantial power reduction despite its small FFT size and exhibits similar performance to the sMLE scheme using the 32768 FFT size.

FM screening is also known for its criticalness of film output and difficulties in the proofing stage because of the microdot formation. However, FM screening is not a well understood process from press performance point of view. This study was carried out for the purposes of introducing the availability of hifi-offset printing to domestic printing industries and evaluating the print qualities between 300lpi AM screen and FM screen with the equivalent sized microdots to 4-5% dot area of the 300lpi AM screen, together with comparing with 175lpi AM screen representing a conventional printing. Solid density, dot gain, color gamut and some other quality properties were measured and discussed.

  • 디지털 시스템에서 높은 샘플링 주파수는 방대한 데이터의 처리를 요구하므로, 이러한 시스템은 실시간 처리가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 비선형 에너지-추적 신호 연산기를 사용하여 표본화 주파수를 낮출 수 있는 undersampling 기법에 의해서 4종류의 AM/FM 복조기들을 설계하여 제안하였다. 특히, 이시스템들을 조절이 가능한 undersampling 주파수 및 3dB 대역폭이 각각 주어지게 된다. 이 설계된 검파기들을 분석한 결과, 특성 및 오차의 측면에서 유용함을 밝혔다.

  • In the last decades, Facility Management (FM) has established itself as a key building service factor.FM includes supporting services and organizing functions essential for maintaining, operating and managing physical component and material. The purpose of the paper is to develop an economical analysis for building facilities management during its service life based on limited cost. This method helps to facilities managers and engineers to make better decisions for reducing of facilities assessment costs and increasing the facilities' service life. This paper presents the preliminary development of a model involves three stages process namely data collection, economic computation and economic process optimization. This process was tested for fiberglass doors example in a building interior and exterior system. If executives can manage essential points effectively and make decisions according to a key performance index, cost can be optimized and safety can be enhanced for installation building.
