  • In this study, we developed RBFN(Radial Basis Function Networks) based load modeling method with harmonic components. The developed method considers harmonic information as well as fundamental frequency and voltage considered as essential factors in conventional method. Thus, the proposed method makes it possible to effectively estimate load characteristics in power lines with harmonics. RBFN has some advantage such as simple structure and rapid computation ability compared with multi-layer perceptorn which is extensively applied for load modeling. To verify the effectiveness, the proposed method has been intensively tested with various dataset acquired under the different frequency and voltage and compared it with conventional methods such as polynomial method, MLPN and RBFN with no harmonic components.

  • The most important material parameters are fracture energy and the stress-crack opening displacement($\sigma$-w) curve to determine the behavior of concrete. Especially, the relationship between the $\sigma$-w curve is strongly important to determine the load-displacement curve of concrete that has a major influence on the fracture behavior of a concrete. In this paper, notched plain concrete beams with different strength level were tested under three-point bending and fracture energy, the load-deflection curve, and the load-crack mouth opening displacement(CMOD) curve were obtained from the experimental data. Also, the fictitious crack model(FCM) was applied to determine the load-deflection curve of notched plain concrete beams using various types of $\sigma$-w curve model proposed by Petersson and we compared experimental results with numerical ones carried out by Finite Element Method(FEM).

  • This paper proposed about a load-balanced multi-agent model in mobile distribution environment to monitor moving patients and to deal with a situation of emergency. This model was designed to have a structure based on distribution framework by expanding a mobile system, and provides healthcare services based on real time situational information on moving patients. In order to overcome the limitation of middleware when we design system, we provided an abstract layer between applications and their base network infrastructure so that balance between QoS requests and network life can be maintained. In addition, clustering was used in cells for the efficient load distribution among multi-agents. By using Clustering FCM, we got optimal resources and had solve about transmission delay.

  • The effect of a partially earth anchored cable system on the structural safety of a long span cable-stayed bridge under seismic and wind loads are examined during construction process. By assuming the FCM (free cantilever method) construction stages with structural vulnerability, a multi-mode spectral analysis and a multi-mode buffeting analysis are performed for specific seismic load and wind load, respectively. Results show that the wind load dominates the structural safety of a cable-stayed bridge during construction. And, the application of a partially earth anchored cable system can enhance structural safety under wind load since the maximum pylon moment in the model with partially earth anchored cable system is reduced by 49% under wind load. In contrast, the maximum pylon moment occurred by seismic load is only decreased by 8%.

  • In this study, the models and methods for the safety assessment of Steel-Concrete Hybrid Cable-Stayed Bridge, which consists of steel composite girder and concrete girder erected by the FCM(Free Cantilever Method) and FSM(Full Staging Method) are proposed for the assurance of structural safety and the prevention against bridge collapse during construction. By the structural reliability approach that reasonably considers the uncertainties associated with the resistance and the load effect, the resistance and the load distribution characteristics of Steel-Concrete Hybrid Cable-Stayed Bridgeare defined and the strength limit state equations of permanent structures and temporary structures during construction are suggested. An AFOSM algorithm and MCS technique are used for the reliability analysis of cables, pylons, girders, steel-concrete conjunction part and temporary bents. Also, component reliability analyses are performed at the construction stages based on the structural system model. To demonstrate their rationality and practicality, the proposed models and approaches are applied to a real bridge. The sensitivity analyses of main parameters are performed in order to identify the critical factors that control the safety of similar bridges. As a result, it may be stated that the proposed models could be implemented as a rational and practical approach for the safety assessment of Steel-Concrete Hybrid Cable-stayed bridges erected by FCM and FSM during construction.

  • In this study, wedge splitting tensile test(WST) using dye penetration method was carried out to investigate cracking criterion and fracture characteristics of concrete. For the this purpose, three levels of compressive strength of 180, 300 and 600 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and five testing age of 1, 3, 7, 14 and 28 days were selected as test variables. The specimen was loaded in a controlled manner and then dye was inserted at the load of 40%, 70% of the presumed peak load and at the load of 90% just after peak load. The fracture process zone was measured at each load step of a specimen. Test results were compared with analytic results by linear elastic fracture mechanics(LEFM) and numerical results through fictitious crack model(FCM) and finite element method(FEM).

  • In designing the Prestressed concrete box-girder bridge. dead load, prestressing force, creep and shrinkage of concrete are the main factors which influence the camber and deflection of segmental concrete structure under construction. Among these factors the creep and shrinkage are the functions of the time-dependent property which. therefore, must be considered with time. The prediction model for estimating creep and shrinkage of concrete has been suggested by ACI, CEB/FIP, JSCE and KSCE design code and EMM, AEMM, RCM, IDM and SSM has been suggested for analytical method in consideration of time-dependent characteristics. In this study the creep test was carried out for four different curing ages of concrete which were applied to the Prestressed concrete structure at the construction site, and the results of test were compared with the values of creep prediction proposed by the design code. Also the creep test was performed with step-wise incremental stresses and the results were compared to the analytical values.
