최근 기후변화에 따라 세계적으로 산불이 빈번해지고 피해 규모가 커지면서, 이에 따른 산림 생태계 파괴, 인명 및 재산 피해가 증가하고 있다. 위성기반 산불피해지수는 객관적이고 신속한 산불피해지 파악을 가능하게 하고, 북한과 같이 접근이 불가능한 지역에 대한 분석에 유용하다. 이 단보에서는 전통적으로 사용되어 온 Normalized Burn Ratio (NBR)를 비롯하여, 식생활력도를 나타내는 Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), 그리고 최근에 개발된 Fire Burn Index (FBI)와 Forest Withering Index (FWI)를 이용하여 북한지역 산불피해지 탐지를 수행하고, 4가지 지수의 비교 평가를 통해 한반도 적용 방안을 모색하였다. 향후 중소형 산불에 대한 적용가능성 검토와 딥러닝 영상인식의 활용 등이 추가적으로 연구되어야 할 것이다.

미국 NSA는 미 국방부 산하 비밀정보기관으로 그중 하나인 국방정보국(DIA)와 함께 미국의 (대외)전자정보 첩보활동 기능을 하고 있다.워싱턴과 볼티모어 중간의 메릴랜드주 포트 미드에 본부를 두고 있으며 3만 8천명의 인원과 1년 예산 41조원으로 운영되고, 6000평의 지하에 설치된 수퍼컴퓨터들을 작동하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.FBI나 CIA와는 별개의 조직이며 미 육군 안전국 및 해군과 공국의 통신정보기구에 대해서도 광범위한 감독권을 갖는다. 에셜론에 대한 관리 및 그 존재에 대한 의구심은 에셜론이 네트워크를 통하여 자국민은 물론 다른 나라의 국가 기업 기밀을 포착하고 있으리라는 추측을 불러 일으키고 있음에도 불구하고 미국과 영국은 에셜론의 실체 및 에셜론을 통한 정보탐지 여부를 철저하게 부인해 왔으나 호주 및 뉴질랜드 정부가 이사실을 인정하기 시작하였고 영국 BBC방송사는 1999년 11월 2일 오스트레일리아 정보보안부 감찰관 빌 블릭이 NSA를 중심으로 하는 세계적인 통신감청망 에셜론이 존재하며 자신이 일했던 호주 방위통신대도 이 감청망의 일부라고 확인했다고 보도했다.

D-STATCON using the multilevel voltage source inverters is presented for voltage regulation and reactive power compensation in distribution system. This cascade M-level inverter consists of (M-1)/2 single phase full bridge inverter(FBI). This multilevel inverter is a natural fit to the flexible ac transmission systems(FACTS) including STATCON, SVC, series compensation and phase shifting, It can solve the problems of conventional transformer-based multipulse inverters and multilevel diode-clamped inverters. From the simulation results, the superiority of D-STATCON with cascade multilevel inverter is shown for high power application.

민간경비 산업의 질적인 성장을 위해서는 체계적인 교육훈련을 통한 민간경비 종사자의 자질을 향상시켜야 한다. 민간경비 종사자가 교육 훈련시 배운 지식, 기술 등을 현장 근무지에 서 활용하여 세련된 서비스를 제공한다면 국민들로 하여금 신뢰를 확보할 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 볼 때, 실용적이고 체계적인 교육훈련은 민간경비 산업의 부흥과 밀접하게 관련되어 있다. 민간경비 종사자는 현장에서 상근자 등 다수의 출입자를 대면하게 된다. 따라서 현장에서의 단순히 친절한 서비스 제공의 소극적인 근무보다는 과학적인 관찰기법과 체계적인 질문기법을 통한 거동수상자로 하여금 추가 범죄를 예방할 수 있는 적극적 개념의 근무를 해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현행 민간경비 신임직원 교육훈련 중 '질문 검색 요령'의 개선된 프로그램을 모형을 제시하였다. 세부적으로 모리스 교수의 '피플워칭'연구 중에서 인간행동의 특징을 통한 과학적인 관찰 기준표와 미국의 FBI, 경찰 등의 수사기관이 받고 있는 리드테크닉 중에서 '행동촉발질문', 그리고 인간의 미세표정을 통한 감정 포착 훈련프로그램인 'METT'를 '질문 검색요령'교육훈련에 적용하는 방안을 제시하였다. 이는 실습위주의 훈련프로그램으로서 실무에 적용 가능한 내용으로 교육생의 교육 분위기를 조성해 줄 것이며, 현장에서 과학적인 근무를 통한 세련된 현장조치를 통한 대국민 신뢰를 확보하여 민간경비 산업의 발전에 도움이 될 것이다.

The objective of this experiment is to investigate neurobehavioral and developmental effects of fumonisin B1 (FB1) after prenatal FB1 administration in rats. FB1 (0.8 or 1.6 mg/kg) was orally exposed to pregnant rats during gestational days 13 to 20, whereas the vehicle alone was administered to control group. Maternal and offspring body weights, physical landmarks of incisor eruption, eye opening, testes descending and vaginal opening, open field activity, running wheel activity, and complex maze performance were included as endpoints for developmental and neurobehavioral measurement. Maternal body weights were not signfficantly altered after FB1 exposure. Percentage of maternal weight gain difference between control and 1.6 mg/kg FBI groups was about 4%. Pre- and post-weanling weight of offsprings after prenatal exposure to FB1 was not signfficantly changed, suggesting that FB1 at 0.8 or 1.6 kg/kg doses may not cross the placenta. Significant gender difference in running wheel activity on postnatal days 57 to 63 and complex maze performance on postnatal days 75 to 78 was observed.

Objectives: This study was undertaken to investigate how Cortex Phellodendri affects metabolic functional change in an experimental rat model of obesity.Methods: An obesity model was induced in a C57BL/6 mouse with a high-fat diet. Mice were divided into three groups (n=6) of normal diet, high-fat diet (=control), and high-fat diet with Cortex Phellodendri. After 12 weeks, we measured the three mice groups’ body weight, FBG, FBI, HOMA-IR, OGTT, the weight of epididymal fat and liver, the percentage of ATM, and the gene expression of TNF-α, IL-10, and CD68.Results: Cortex Phellodendri significantly reduced blood glucose and oral glucose tolerance levels. It also reduced ATM numbers and TNF-α and CD68 gene expression and increased IL-10 gene expression.Conclusions: This study suggests that Cortex Phellodendri normalized the blood glucose and reduced the expression of inflammatory markers. However, with respect to other indicators of metabolic function in obesity, there were no significant results.

The followings are required to establish uniform principle of criminal jurisdiction for international cyber crime into customary international law; (1) clear guideline of UN for promoting national practice (2) formation of general practices based on these guidelines (3) these general practices should obtain legal confidence. International society is in close cooperation for investigating and controlling cyber threat. The US FBI has closed down the largest online crime space called 'Darkcode' and prosecuted related hackers based on joint investigation with 19 countries including England, Australia, Canada, Bosnia, Croatia, Israel, and Rumania. More and more people in Korea are raising their voices for joining cyber crime treaty, 'Budapest Treaty.' Budapest Treaty is the first international treaty prosecuting cyber crime by setting out detailed regulations on internet criminal act. Member countries have installed hotline for cyber crime and they act together. Except European countries, America, Canada, and Japan have joined the treaty. In case of Korea, from few years before, it is reviewing joining with Ministry of Foreign affairs, Ministry of Justice and the National Police but haven't made any conclusion. Different from offline crime, cyber crime is planned in advance and happens regardless of border. Therefore, international cooperation based on position of punishing criminals and international standards. Joining of Budapest international cyber crime treaty shall be done as soon as possible for enhancing national competence.

견직유와 견 crepe에 대한 papain효소의 정련효과와 정련견의 물리적 특성을 검토하기 위하여 이 실험을 수행하였다. 정련효과를 비교하기 위하여 정련제로서는 비누와 소다, 비누-소다 및 papain효소를 사용하였으며, 시료로는 고치층과 생사 및 silk crepe를 공시하였다. 정련견의 특성항목으로서는 광학현미경에 의한 lousiness의 출현비율, Tensile-shear tester(KES-FBI)를 사용한 인장특성, bending tester(KES-FB2)를 사용한 굽힘특성을 측정하는 한편 Handle-o-meter를 사용하여 정련된 crepe의 유건성을 측정하였다. 이 실험에서 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 아래와 같다. 1. papain효소 정련의 특성은 전처리를 실시하는 경우, 고치층, 생사 및 silk crepe가 비누, 소다, 비누-소다 정련법에 의하여 연감율이 높았다. 2. papain효소로 정련한 결과, 생사에 발생하는 lousiness를 억제할 수가 있어서 견직물의 lousiness 결점을 개선할 수 있었다. 3. 인장특성 실험 결과, papain효소로 정련한 crepe는 탄력성이 유지되면서, 직물의 변형이 적고 변형에 대한 회복력도 높았다. 4. papain효소로 정련한 crepe의 굽힘강성과 곡율이역현상은 비누나 소다 정련한 경우에 비하여 감소하였다. 5. papain효소로 정련한 crepe의 유건성은 비누나 소다로 정련한 경우에 비하여 양호하였다.

옥수수에 5 $\mu$g/g의 FB$_1$을 인위적으로 첨가한 후 co-rotating mixing twin screw extruder를 사용하여 140, 160, 및 18$0^{\circ}C$에서 각각 screw speed를 80, 100 및 120rpm으로 조정하여 extrusion 처리하였다. Extrusion 처리에 의한 FB$_1$ 감소율은 약 41~45% 수준이었으며, 처리 조건에 따른 차이는 없었다. Glucose, fructose 및 sucrose를 각각 첨가한 옥수수를 14$0^{\circ}C$, 120 rpm에서 extrusion 처리하였을 때 glucose를 첨가한 옥수수에서의 FB$_1$ 감소율이 증가하였다. Glucose 함량의 증가에 따라 FB$_1$의 감소율도 증가하였으며, glucose가 2.5%, 5% 및 7.5% 존재할 때 extrusion 처리 옥수수에 잔존하는 FB$_1$은 각각 51%, 34% 및 19%수준이었다.

In this study, a Benthic Macroinvertebrates Family Index (BMFI) was developed using 100 indicator groups (99 families including Chironomidae with 2 phena). Families were assigned a score between 1 and 10 depending on their sensitivity to organic pollution. The BMFI was composed of the sensitivity and relative abundance of the indicator taxa. Sensitivity values of each group were generally similar to Biological Monitoring Working Party (BMWP) scores or Walley, Hawkes, Paisley, Trigg (WHPT) scores of UK, Japanese BMWP scores, and the FBI tolerance values of North America. However, sensitivity values of some taxa were significantly different from those of foreign countries, which seemed to have resulted from discrepancy in species composition, difference of taxonomic classification system, or methodological difference for estimation of sensitivity. As an annual average level, BMFI showed significant correlation with concentration of 5-day biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) (correlation coefficient r = -0.80, n = 569 sites), total suspended solids (r = -0.68), and total phosphorus (r = -0.79). In addition, BMFI revealed strong correlation with Shannon-Weaver's species diversity (r = 0.85), Margalef's species richness (r = 0.85) and McNaughton's dominance (r = -0.84). Correlation between BMFI and water quality parameters or community indices such as species diversity did not show significant difference compared to that of species-level indices such as BMI (Benthic Macroinvertebrates Index). This means that BMFI is a more useful indicator in terms of easy identification of organisms. BMFI was used to assess the environmental status of 3,017 sites of Stream Ecosystem Survey conducted by the Korean Ministry of Environment between 2016 and 2018. As a result, about half of all sites appeared to be in good condition, and a quarter in poor condition.
