직접 토크제어에 의한 유도전동기의 위치제어 시스템 (An Induction Motor Motion Control System with Direct Torque Control)

  • This paper presents an implementation of digital motion control system of induction motor vector drives with a direct torque control(DTC) using the 16bit DSP TMS 320F240. The DSP controller enable enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design of intelligent controllers for induction motors which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The system presented are stator flux observer of current model that inputs are current sensing of motor terminal and rotor angle, and optimal switching look-up table by using fully integrated control software. The developed system are shown a good motion control response characteristic results and high performance features using 2.2Kw general purposed induction motor.

자동 조립 및 공급을 위한 BLDC 서보 전동기 제어시스템 설계 (Design of a BLDC Servo Motor Control System for the Auto Process of Assembly and Supply)

  • 본 논문은 DSP 제어기와 IGBT 구동기를 이용하는 조립과 공급의 자동처리를 위한 BLDC 서보 모터 제어시스템 설계를 제안한다. 조립, 공급 자동처리 시스템은 다양한 동작을 위해 서보모터의 토크, 속도, 위치 제어를 필요로한다. 본 논문은 이러한 서보제어를 벡터제어와 공간벡터 PWM 기법을 이용하여 구현한다. 제어기의 CPU 로서 PWM 파형발생기, A/D 컨버터, SPI 통신 포트 및 많은 입/출력 포트를 갖는 TMS320F240 DSP를 채택하였다. 이 제어시스템은 메인 호스트 PC 가 위로부터의 명령을 전달하고 끝단의 서보제어기의 상태들을 모니터링하는 세 개의 부 DSP시스템을 관리하는 3레벨의 계층적 구조로 이루어져 있다. 각 부 DSP 시스템은 DSP와 IPM을 사용하여 BLDC 서보모터를 제어하는 8개의 BLDC 서보모터제어부를 운영한다. 호스트 시스템과 중간의 DSP는 RS-422을 이용하여 통신하며, 주프로세서와 제어기는 SPI 포트를 이용하여 통신한다.

저전압 고성능 DSP를 이용한 AC 서보모터 제어 (AC Servo Motor Control Using Low Voltage High Performance DSP)

  • Recently with the development of power switching device and DSP which has peripheral devices to control AC servo system, the servo technology has met a new development opportunity. Those things make it possible to reduce the time of developing a AC servo system. Fixed point DSP such as TMS320F240x, and TMS320F28x series have a disadvantage in calculating floating number where TMS320C32 or TMS320C31 are floating point DSP. However they usually become a complex hardware system to implement the AC servo system and it increases the cost. In this study, a DSP based AC servo system with a 3-phase PMSM is proposed. The newly produced DSP TMX320F28l2-version C which has the performance of fast speed, 150MIPS, and a rich peripheral interface such as a 12bit high speed AD converter, QEP(Quadrature Encoder Pulse) circuit, PDPINT(Power Drive Protect Interrupt), SVPWM module and dead time module are used. This paper presents a method to overcome fixed point calculating using scaling all parameters. Also space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) using off-set voltage and a digital PI control are implemented to the servo system.

  • The paper presents the software control of a brush-less do motor with parameter identification. Not only speed and current controls but also a real-time identification of the motor parameters can be implemented by software using the digital signal processor TMS320F240. The DSP Controller TMS320F240 from Texas Instruments is suitable for a wide range of motor drives TMS320F240 provides a single chip solution by integrating on-chip not only a high computational power but also all the peripherals necessary for electric motor control. This new family of DSPs enables single chip, cost effective, modular and increased performance solutions for BLDC drives. The present paper describes how a speed controlled brushless DC drive can be implemented using TMS320F240 and what kind of results can be achieved.

  • In general, the electronic forklift driven by DC motor drive system is used in the industrial field. Classically, the DC motor is controlled by speed control using proportion control method, by output torque following the load on the plane like a manual operation. But in the industrial field, the electronic forklift is demanded the robust drive mode. Some cases of the mode, there are trouble in torque and speed control following slope capacity. The control is sensitive concerning with slope angle and output speed, various control method is studied for stability of speed control. We apply speed controller for the self-tuning using DSP(TMS320F240) as main controller for high speed processor, embody dynamic characteristic of control compared the PI control to the fuzzy control.

  • Much attention has been given to EMI effects created in variable speed ac drive system. Zero switching states of inverter control invoke large common mode voltage. This paper focuses on the switching techniques to mitigate common mode voltage. This paper proposes a common-mode voltage reduction method based on sinusoidal pulse width modulation in three phase PWM inverter system. By using three carriers wave displaced by 120 degrees, it is possible to eliminate a common mode voltage pulse In one control period. Simulation and experimental results show that common mode voltages In the proposed technique are reduced more than conventional technique.

  • This paper presents a ripple reduction of BLDC motor using TMS320F240. A fault of permanent magnet(PM) BLDC motor possible to miniaturization and high-output is to be difficult to reduce speed-ripple at low speed region. An existing solution is to be use of PWM waveform by PI control with computing control angle of 60$^{\circ}$. The new family of DSP controllers provides a single chip solution by integrating on-chip not only a high computational power but also, all the peripherals necessary for electric motor control. This paper gives an advanced solution of the SVPWM technique for the purpose of reducing control angel rather than 60$^{\circ}$. This technique gives an excellent speed ripple characteristic.

  • This paper presents a study on the indirect FOC (field oriented control) of induction motor using TMS320F240. This DSP has become possible to design and implement a highly efficient and accurate AC induction drive control. This paper describes a pulse width modulator based on the voltage space vectors technique that accepts voltage demands in dq coordinates and generates three-phase PWM waveforms to drive a variable frequency voltage-source inverter. The Current Model lock is added to generate the rotor flux angular speed.

  • The paper presents a cost effective and increased performance position servo system using the TMS320F240 digital signal processor (DSP) produced by Texas Instruments as microprocessor and Brushless Direct Current Motor (BLDCM) as executor. In order to make up for the drawback of conventional PID controls, the fuzzy PID is employed. The result of simulations and experiments has confirmed that the whole system is simple and reliable; the robustness of system is improved by using fuzzy PID.

  • In this paper, a drive system of induction motor with high performance is realized on the viewpoint of the design and experiment, using the DSP (TMS320F240). The speed controller for induction motor drive system is designed on the basis of a neuro-fuzzy network. The neuro-fuzzy controller acts as a feed-forward controller that provides the right control input for the plant and accomplishes error back-propagation algorithm through the network. The proposed network is used to achieve the high speedy calculation of the space vector PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and to build the neuro-fuzzy control algorithm, for the real-time control. The proposed neuro-fuzzy algorithm on the basis of DSP shows that experimental results have good performance for the precise speed control of an induction motor drive system. It is confirmed that the proposed controller could provide more improved control performance than conventional v/f vector controllers through the experiment.
