This study is to investigate the correlation of pore structures of Zeolite 5As modified with acid and their adsorption capacity of toluene vapor using the dynamic adsorption method. The experimental results showed that the modification with acid allowed more micropores and enlarged the existing pores. Toluene vapor was mainly adsorbed on the surface of pores over $15\;{\AA}$ in diameter. The equilibrium adsorption capacity of toluene vapor of the modified Zeolite 5As was in the range of $15{\sim}70\;mg/g$ and the equilibrium adsorption capacity was increased to f times than that of the Zeolite 5A. The correlation between the total cumulative surface area and the equilibrium adsorption capacity was hard to say linear. The correlation in diameter between the cumulative surface area in the range of over $15\;{\AA}$ and the equilibrium adsorption capacity gate the highest correlation factor of 0.997.
Simulated waste liquid containing 50 ppm cobalt ion was t$\xi$sted by precipitate flotation using a sodium lauryl sulfate as a c collector. The effects of initial cobalt ion concentration, pH, surfactant concentration, flotation time, gas flow rate and foreign i ions on removal efficiency of cobalt ion were studied. Pretreatment of the waste liquid with 35% $H_2O_2$, prior to precipitate f flotation made shin of optimal flotation pH from the strong alkalinity to weak alkaline range and made a favorable flotation of c cobalt ion in wide range of pH. For the result of this experiment, 99.8% removal efficiency was obtained on the conditions of initial coball ion concentration 50 ppm, pH 9.5 gas flow rate 70 mllmin, flotation time 30 min. The simulate ion was fanned t to be the most harmful ion against removal of cobalt by precipitate flotation of the species which were tested The presence of 0.1 M of $SO_4^{2-}$ ion decreased remo,때 $\xi$폐iciency of cobalt to 90% while the cobalt were almost entirely removed in the a absence of sulfate ion.
Purpose: As the number of domestic medical institutions installing PET/CT is increasing rapidly, the transfer of PET/CT images among medical institutions is also increasing. Thus, it is necessary to collect the comparative SUV data from several medical institutions' PET/CT systems through a phantom study which semi-quantitatively compares the SUV on one bed, the change scale of the SUV on the slices, and the time of measuring. The phantom study to find differences among the SUVs from various PET/CT offers the opportunity to obtain the reliability of the SUV in PET/CT images. Materials and Methods: Ten PET/CT systems from medical institutions in Korea were used. To obtain the accurate data, the study has been using the radiation detector of Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science to verify. The internal structures of NEMA $phantom^{TM}$ were removed and Six thousand milliliters of distilled water which has 1mCi of $^{18}F$-FDG put into the phantom. The water was properly integrated with $^{18}F$-FDG using magnetic stirrer. The images were acquired at 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120-minutes for 3 minute each. Two hundred square centimeters of region of interests were placed and analyzed. To confirm the usefulness, the correction-table came out from patients' data. Results: The coefficient of variability of the SUV from -11.0 to 9.90 % fell into the range of international standards(${\pm}10%$) along with the SUV on a bed, the change scale of the SUV on the slices, and the time of measuring, except one PET/CT system. Using the data of the differences among the SUVs, we came to withdraw the correction-table ranging from 0.803 to 1.246. The correction-table was confirmed its usefulness through Linear Regression Analysis which was applied to normal cases. Conclusions: Although studies have been made on the variation of the SUV, there is little attention on the standardization of the SUV. Based on this study of the quantitatively comparable data about the SUV accommodating the correction-table, it would help to have more corrective diagnosis.
We report the design and performance analysis of an off-axis three-mirror telescope as the fore optics for a new hyperspectral sensor aboard a small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), for low-altitude coastal remote sensing. The sensor needs to have at least 4 cm of spatial resolution at an operating altitude of 500 m, $4^{\circ}$ field of view (FOV), and a signal to noise ratio (SNR) of 100 at 660 nm. For these performance requirements, the sensor's optical design has an entrance pupil diameter of 70 mm and an F-ratio of 5.0. The fore optics is a three-mirror system, including aspheric primary and secondary mirrors. The optical performance is expected to reach $1/15{\lambda}$ in RMS wavefront error and 0.75 in MTF value at 660 nm. Considering the manufacturing and assembling phase, we determined the alignment compensation due to the tertiary mirror from the sensitivity, and derived the tilt-tolerance range to be 0.17 mrad. The off-axis three-mirror telescope, which has better performance than the fore optics of other hyperspectral sensors and is fitted for a small UAV, will contribute to ocean remote-sensing research.
Cerium substituted YIG thin films were grown by rf magnetron sputter techniques. We investigated the effects of post-deposition heat-treatment as well as various deposition parameters such as substrate materials, substrate temperature. sputter power, and sputter gas types on the crystallinity, chemical composition, microstructure and magnetic characteristics of the films. Post-deposition heat treatment over 750 $\^{C}$ was applied to crystallize as-prepared amorphous films, and a strong tendency of particular crystallographic planes tying parallel to substrate surface was observed for the post-deposition heat-treated films on GGG substrate. The chemical composition of the films exhibited a wide range of chemical stoichiometry depending on the oxygen fraction of sputter gas, and in particular the composition of the film deposited in sputter gas with an oxygen fraction of R = 10% was Ce$\_$0.23/Y$\_$1.30/Fe$\_$3.50/O$\_$12/. With raising the temperature of post-deposition heat-treatment from 900 $\^{C}$ to 1100 $\^{C}$, the surface roughness of the film on GGG substrates increased from about 3 nm to 40 nm, but their coercive force and ferromagnetic resonance line width decreased from 0.477 kA/m to 0.369 kA/m and from 12.5 kA/m to 8.36 kA/m, respectively.
The bioequivalence of two triflusal products was evaluated with 20 healthy volunteers following single oral dose according to the guidelines of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). Trisa $l^{R}$ capsule (Whanin Pharm. Corp., Korea) and Disgre $n^{R}$ capsule (Myung-In Pharm. Corp., Korea) were used as test product and reference product, respectively. Both products contain 300 mg of trifusal. One capsule of test product or reference product was orally administered to the volunteers, respectively, by randomized two period crossover study (2$\times$2 Latin square method). Blood samples were taken at predetermined time intervals for 4 hours and the determination of trifusal was accomplished using semi-microbore HPLC equipped with automated column switching system. The analytical method with HPLC was validated according to the Bioanalytic Method Validation guideline by F7A prior to determining the plasma samples. The pharmacokinetic parameters (AU $C_{0-4h}$$C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$) were calculated and ANOVA test was utilized for statistical analysis of parameters. As a result of the assay validation, the limit of quantification of trifusal in human plasma by current assay procedure was 50 ng/ml using 500 $\mu$l of plasma. The accuracy of the assay was from 97.76% to 116.51% while the intra-day and inter-day coefficient of variation of the same concentration range was less than 15%. Average drug concentration at the designated time intervals and pharmacokinetic parameters calculated were not significantly different between two products (p>0.05). The difference of mean AU $C_{olongrightarrow4hr}$, $C_{max}$, and $T_{max}$ between the two products (2.92, 4.39, and -2.44%, respectively) were less than 20%. The power (1-$\beta$) and treatment difference ($\Delta$) for AU $C_{olongrightarrow4hr}$ and $C_{max}$ were more than 0.8 and less than 0.2, respectively. Although the power for $T_{max}$ was under 0.8, $T_{max}$ of the two products was not significantly different from each other (p>0.05). These results satisfied the criteria of KFDA guideline for bioequivalence, indicating the two products of triflusal were bioequivalent.quivalent.ent.ent.

Eight Korean wheat cultivars were milled and evaluated for the properties of white layer cake-making, compared to a commercial soft wheat flour. Milling yields of the Korean wheat cultivars ranged from 62.5 to 71.8%. The protein and ash contents of flours milled from Korean wheat cultivars ranged from 7.70 to 10.58% and 0.51 to 0.71%, respectively. Woorimil, Alchanmil and Olgeurumil flours, having low protein content, showed very weak mixing characteristics. Even though Eunpamil and Geurumil flours showed longer mixing time and higher peak height, they had week dough stability. Slight differences in pH and specific gravity of cake batter were observed among the Korean wheat flours. Cake volume measured by rapeseed displacement was in the range of $837.5{\sim}952.5\;cc$. Alchanmil flour demonstrated the highest specific volume of 2.40, and the other domestic flours symmetrical and uniform than those with the commercial soft wheat flour. Volume of white layer cakes was negatively affected by flour protein content and somewhat associated with crumb softness. Crumb color of cakes prepared with domestic wheat flours was slightly darker and more yellowish. Hardness of fresh cakes prepared with domestic flours ranged from 307.33 to 416.60 $g_f$.
Two hundred and twenty three yeast strains were randomly isolated from Korean traditional $nuruk$. Among them, six urease producing yeast strains (designated JJA, JJB, JJ22, SHA, SHC and SH10) were selected on the Christensen urea agar plates. They showed the same pattern in the PCR-RFLP analysis of the ITS I-5.8S-ITS II region digested with $Hae$III and $HinF$1 restriction endonucleases. Its DNA sequences showed 100% (strains SHA, SHC and SH10) and 99.8% (strains JJA, JJB and JJ22) identity with those of $Issatchenkia$$orientalis$ type strain ATCC 24210. Phylogenetic analysis resulted in that all the strains were closely related to $I.$$orientalis$. Two representative strains, JJ22 and SH10, showing the highest urease activities were selected for further characterization. Their morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics were also the same as $I.$$orientalis$. Therefore, both the two strains were identified as $I.$$orientalis$. They could grow at a wide range of temperature between $20-40^{\circ}C$ as well as pH between 2.0 and 10.0. However, a higher level urease activity were obtained at acidic pH than that at alkalic pH. The maximal level of urease activity was obtained at $30^{\circ}C$ (strain SH10) or $35^{\circ}C$ (strain JJ22) and in a liquid medium adjusted to the initial pH 5.0.

The objective of this study was to determine the acidification of precipitation in the Jeju area. Precipitation samples were collected from the Jeju area from 2009-2014, and the major ionic species were analyzed. In the regression analysis, through a comparison of ion balance, electric conductivity, and acid fraction, the correlation coefficients showed a good linear relationship within the range of 0.927~0.983. The volume-weighted means of the pH and electric conductivity were 4.9 and 22.7 µS/cm, respectively. The ionic strength of precipitation was 0.27±0.38 mM, indicating about 35.9 % of total precipitation within the pure precipitation criteria. The volume-weighted mean concentrations (ìeq/L) of the ionic species in the precipitation were in the order of Na+ > Cl− > nss-SO42− > NO3− > NH4+ > Mg2+ > H+ > nss-Ca2+ > PO43− > K+ > HCOO− > CH3COO− > NO2− > F− > HCO3− > CH3SO3− . The acidification contributions by sulfuric and nitric acids were 54.5 % and 36.5 %, respectively. Meanwhile the acidification contributions by formic and acetic acids were 4.8 % and 4.2 %, respectively. Thus, it was found that the acidification of the precipitation in the Jeju area was mainly due to the inorganic acids. The neutralization factors by NH3 and CaCO3 were also 33 % and 20 %, respectively.
To evaluate the effect of soil improvement on the chemical properties and corn silage yield, this experiment was carried out in the newly-reclaimed sloped land. Corn (Suwon 19) was cultivated under the six different treatments including integrated improvement plot at Songjeong loam, 20 percent slope, from 1985 to 1987 and various soil chemical properties and silage yield were investigated. pH of topsoil was above 5.0 except for control and phosphate plot, but lime and integrated improvement plots were above 5.0 in subsoil. The contents of organic matter of topsoil were above 2.0% except control and subsoiling plot. Except control, the range of cation exchange capacity was 7.4-7.8 me/100g in topsoil, 7.0-7.7 me/100g in subsoil. Soil bacteria density of root zone was the highest in integrated improvement than the other treatments, and it was higher at the harvesting stage than the heading stage. Mean density of microorganism was $61.3{\times}10^5$ in bacteria, $21.5{\times}10^4$ in fungi and actinomycetes was B/F ratio was 28.5 and B/A ratio was 2.9. Vertical root distribution of total and 10cm depth below was more in the integrated improvement and subsoi ling plot than the other plots. Total nitrogen (T-N) content was higher in integrated improvement plot, and phosphate content of leaves was higher in compost and integrated improvement plot, but stem and grain were not different. Potassium content of the plant was higher in integra ted improvement plot. Correlation between dry matter yield and T-N was more significant than the other elements. And the contents of phosphate, calcium and magnesium were significant at 5%, but potassium was not.
