This study examined the mediation effects of sensation seeking on the relationship between internal and external boredom proneness and game addiction. For this study, 567 middle school students in Kyungki and Chungcheong were included in the analysis. The results showed that both internal boredom proneness and external boredom proneness were positively correlated with game addiction. Internal boredom proneness was negatively correlated with all subscales of sensation seeking, whereas external boredom proneness was positively correlated with boredom susceptibility and disinhibition. Sensation seeking was found only to partially mediate the influence of the adolescents' external boredom proneness (independent variable) on game addiction(dependent variable). Based on these results, suggestions for game addiction intervention and future studies were mentioned.

In the external treatment of sprain and strain using the herb, Adhesive(貼敷) is used most. Because Adhesive(貼敷) brings fast reactions, has less side effects, and can control the processing time. 3. The effects of herbs used in this external treatment are almost the same as oral herb-medicines such as, promoting blood flow to remove blood stasis(活血化瘀), relieving rheumatic conditions(祛風濕), and removing obstruction in meridians and collaterals(通經絡).

The deterioration of existing bridges has become a major problem around the world. In the paper, a new model and an associated stress checking method are proposed for concrete box girders strengthened by external prestressing. The new model called the spatial grid model can analyze all the spatial behaviors clearly by transforming the box girder into discrete orthogonal grids which are equivalent to plate elements. Then the three-layer stresses are employed as the stress checking indices to evaluate the stress state of the plate elements. The initial stress check before strengthening reveals the cracked and potential cracking areas for existing bridges, making the strengthening design more targeted and scientific; the subsequent stress check after strengthening evaluates the strengthening effect and ensures safety. A deficient bridge is selected as the practical example, verifying the accuracy and applicability of the proposed model and stress checking method. The results show that principal stresses in the middle layer of plate elements reflect the main effects of external prestressing and thus are the key stress checking indices for strengthening. Moreover, principal stresses check should be conducted in all parts of the strengthened structure not only in the webs. As for the local effects of external prestressing especially in the areas near anchorage and deviator, normal stresses check in the outer and inner layers dominates and local strengthening measures should be taken if necessary.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore effects of a Cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program that consists of exercise, education, and cognitive supports to improve shoulder external rotation, cancer coping, group cohesion in mastectomy patients. Methods: A one group pre-post test design was used. Thirty mastectomy patients from C Hospital participated in the supervised exercise program once a week for 8 weeks. Data were collected from May to July 2011 using self-administered questionnaires and physical measurement. SPSS/WIN 19.0 was used for the data analysis. Results: The mean age of participants was 53.7 and the mean postoperative period after the surgery was 12.93 months. There were significant differences in the shoulder external rotation, cancer coping, group cohesion between pre and post program. Conclusion: The results showed that cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program was an effective nursing intervention for improving breast cancer patient's shoulder external rotation, cancer coping and group cohesion.

Stress/stram dependencies of the critical current $I_c$ in AgMgNi sheathed multifilamentary Bi(2212) superconducting tapes were evaluated at 77K, 0T. The external reinforcement was accomplished by soldering Ag-Mg tapes to sin91e side or both sides of the sample. With the external reinforcement. the strength of tapes increased but $I_c$, decreased The $I_c$, degradation characteristic according to the external reinforcement was improved markedly in terms of the stress although it appeared less rectal.table on the basis of the strain. Effects of external reinforcement were discussed in a viewpoint of monitoring sensitivity of cracking in superconducting filaments by considering n-value representing the transport behavior of the current. It is closely associated with the location of them relative to the voltage-monitoring region in the tape.

In this research, the dynamic stability of an orthotropic elastic conical shell, with elasticity moduli and density varying in the thickness direction, subject to a uniform external pressure which is a power function of time, has been studied. After giving the fundamental relations, the dynamic stability and compatibility equations of a nonhomogeneous elastic orthotropic conical shell, subject to a uniform external pressure, have been derived. Applying Galerkin's method, these equations have been transformed to a pair of time dependent differential equations with variable coefficients. These differential equations are solved using the method given by Sachenkov and Baktieva (1978). Thus, general formulas have been obtained for the dynamic and static critical external pressures and the pertinent wave numbers, critical time, critical pressure impulse and dynamic factor. Finally, carrying out some computations, the effects of the nonhomogeneity, the loading speed, the variation of the semi-vertex angle and the power of time in the external pressure expression on the critical parameters have been studied.

Objectives : This literature study about dental external treatments from Hyangyakjibsungbang Tooth will invigorate applying the therapeutics in the field of Dentistry. Methods : In this study, the parts related to external treatment in the original text of Hyangyakjibsungbang Tooth were reviewed. Results : Examples of frequently used external method were gargling, applying powder, and brushing one's tooth. These methods are still used in modern dental treatment. Conclusions : Discovering new herbal medicines that provide better effects and developing more precise external treatments will advance dental treatment in Korean medicine.

This paper describes the design and evaluation of a noise suppressing hydrophone that is robust to external noise without sacrificing its performance as a receiver. To increase robustness of the receiver to the external noise, first, effects of location of external noise on its performance are analyzed with the finite element method (FEM). Based on the results, geometrical variations are implemented on the structure with additional air pockets and damping layers that work as acoustic shields or scatterers of the noise, and fourteen trial models are developed for the noise suppressing hydrophone structures. The results show that the effect of the external noise is most significant when it is applied to near the mid-side surface of the hydrophone housing. The external noise is isolated most efficiently when two thin damping layers combined with five air pockets are inserted to the circumference of the hydrophone housing. Overall, of the fourteen structural variations of the hydrophone, the best one shows about 87% reduction in the response of the original structure to external noise.
