The cadmium (Cd) toxicological effects on the fertilized eggs, embryos and larvae were investigated in olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus water-borne exposed to Cd. The survival rate and hatching success of the embryos significantly diminished in treated groups in dependence of the Cd concentration. Significant differences were found at ${\geq}30{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ exposed groups compared to the control group. A significant increase of malformation of the embryo was observed at ${\geq}20{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ exposed groups. They usually include such symptoms as clouded yolk-sac abnormality, fin erosion and spinal curvature. A significant reduction in the survival rate of the larvae was observed in ${\geq}20{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ exposed groups with accompanied by the disorder. Notably, in larvae, a concentration as low as $10{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ exposed groups caused significant elevated abnormalities that is incidences of spinal cord deformation, abnormal eyes, deformation of the head region and severe developmental delay.

In this study, the concept of exposed concrete is basically considered and various expressions of concrete surface texture are verified variously. Based on this comparison, the characteristics of exposed surface of concrete according to the change of coating material applicable to formwork are compared and analyzed. I am trying to find a way to apply exposed concrete in a convenient way, In order to observe the characteristics of concrete exposed surface according to the form material, As the surface is smooth and tight, the surface condition of the concrete is smooth and the pore is small.

The contemporary buildings are becoming super-taller gradually as the industry evolves. Accordingly, winter concrete also became an important element for the year-round construction since shortening of a construction duration became important. Accordingly, this research team once developed a double bubble sheet as concrete cover curing compound during winter. But since there is no proper countermeasure for the exposed reinforcement bars, it is worried that the concrete can be damaged by exposed frozen reinforcement bars at a low temperature during the initial period. Therefore, in this study, it is intended to review the temperature history of the reinforcement bars depending on changes of the covering methods of the exposed reinforcement bars by using bubble sheets.

In spite of The exterior design of buildings has a remarkably significant value in terms of public aspect some exposed architectural equipments spoil the appearance of building. The design elements of exposed architectural equipments were partially changed and assessed in the semantic differential method. Thus the aesthetically favorable impression and values of public interest were able to be increased. The reasons why those hideous exposed architectural equipments were constructed, seemed to be as follows; the builders' selfishness, the citizens' ignorance and the immature social institutions that cannot restrict undesirable design efforts. Building equipments located outside are not classified as major elements in building regulations and thus can be installed and altered without any limitations even though they have great effects on the shape and colors of a building. So we have more interest in exposed architectural equipments and more deliberation of exterior design of a building.

The effect which electromagnetic wave has influence on visual activity of human, was investigated in this study. The EEG and the EOG generated by the rays of LED were measured in shield room when the subject were exposed at electromagnetic wave(820MHz, 2mV) or not exposed. Each component of the EEG was compared and evaluated on being exposed at electromagnetic wave or not. As a result was $\alpha$ wave was represented relatively low level in the case of exposed at electromagnetic wave and $\beta$ wave was represented relatively low level in the case of not exposed.

This paper presents results of an experimental investigation on the behaviour of bond between external glass fibre reinforced polymer reinforcement and concrete exposed to three different environmental conditions, namely, temperature cycles, wet-dry cycles and outdoor environment separately for extended durations. Single shear tests (pull-out test) were conducted to investigate bond strengths (pull-out strengths) of control (unexposed) and exposed specimens. Effect of the exposure conditions on the compressive strength of concrete were also investigated separately to understand the effect of changing concrete compressive strength on the pull-out strength. Based on the comparison of experimental results of exposed specimens to control specimens in terms of bond strengths, failure modes and strain profiles, the most significant degradation of pull-out strength was observed in specimens exposed to outdoor environment, whereas temperature cycles did not cause any deterioration of strength.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of media on makeup and hairdressing behavior. The data collected for this study were gathered through questionnaire survey with 443 female students in Seoul. The first study focus is on makeup behavior. The ANOVA test reveals that those exposed to magazine show higher level of concern with makeup compared to those exposed to other types of media. Using logistic regression method, we find that those exposed to magazine or those with positive body image are more likely to take makeup course. The next focus is on hairdressing behavior. The ANOVA test reveals that those exposed to magazine show more frequent use of hair salon. They also spend more money on hairdressing. The regression analysis also shows that those exposed to magazine or those with sexual attraction visit hair salon more frequently than others.

Assessment of noise exposed population is to check the environmental noise level and social influence in order to reduce the risks such as annoyance and disturbance that are generated by environmental noise. Also, this method suggests the preferential noise abatement policy and action plan by accurately finding the area that the noise causes harmful effect to human health. Recently, a noise map, which can predict noise in comprehensive areas, is used for the assessment of noise exposed population, breaking from the methods using existing measures. In particular, countermeasure for the noise can be considered more effectively by using assessment methods of noise exposed population for specific noise levels, areas, and building types which are the main input factors in noise maps. In this study, assessment methods of noise exposed population by using 2 dimensional noise map are compared with those by 3 dimensional noise map.

Column base connections are critical components in steel structures because they transfer axial forces, shear forces and moments to the foundation. Exposed column bases are quite commonly used in low- to medium-rise buildings. To investigate shear transfer in exposed column base plates, four large scale specimens were subjected to a combination of axial load (compression or tension) and lateral shear deformations. The main parameters examined experimentally include the number of anchor rod, arrangement of anchor rod, type of lateral loading, and axial force ratio. It is observed that the shear resisting mechanism of exposed column base changed as the axial force changed. When the axial force is in compression, the resisting mechanism is rotation type, and the shear force will be resisted by friction force between base plate and mortar layer. The specimens could sustain inelastic deformation with minimal strength deterioration up to column rotation angle of 3%. The moment resistance and energy dissipation will be increased as the number of anchor rods increased. Moreover, moment resistance could be further increased if the anchor rods were arranged in details. When the axial force is in tension, the resisting mechanism is slip type, and the shear force will be resisted by the anchor rods. And the shear resistance was reduced significantly when the axial force was changed from compression to tension. The test results indicated that the current design approach could estimate the moment resistance within reasonable acceptance, but overestimate the shear resistance of exposed column base.

The purpose of this study wasisto investigate the influence of attitude toward sex and body satisfaction in the on interest, preference, and buying intention of body exposed clothing among female university students. The Susubject were 397 female students from 3 different universities in Seoul. The instruments of this study wereconsisted of response scale and stimuli. Thirty-four four items on a of 5-point Likert scale were used to measure the attitude towards sex and body satisfaction The stimuli were 6 types of different body exposed clothing style on line drawing. The results were as follow; 1. Most female students were liberal in sexual attitude and had a high level of body satisfaction. Especially, younger students were more liberal than older students. 2. Designs with the greatest interest, preference and that were most interested in, prefer and had buying intention were Camisole, V-neckline and low-neckline designed clothes. 3. Attitude toward sexual value has a strong effect on interest, preference, and buying intention of body exposed clothing. And also ilneterest of body exposed clothing has more effect on buying intention than preference.
