  • The study is to analysis of fire protection regulations for the nuclear power plants (NPP) in the United States, Japan, the UAE (United Arab Emirates), and Korea with the intention of exporting NPP to the UAE. Fire protection regulations for NPP for these countries permit the fire protection design and facilities in accordance with the evaluation of the potential fire hazards. However, in Korea, the NPP is a part of power generation facilities in Korea fire protection law, and the atomic energy act classifies them as the reactor and related nuclear facilities. The fire protection law and atomic energy act are different to the criteria for the fire protection of NPP. To maintain the leading position as a nuclear exporting country, the performance-based fire hazard analysis should be reasonably incorporated in the design of the fire protection system. It was suggested that the integrated requirements of the fire protection for NPP should be incorporated to the construction article for the fire protection facilities specified in paragraph 2 of Act II, being classified into the special objects to be protected against fire, which requires a performance-based design in order to incorporate the specific requirements for NPP.

However, there is no specific proof of search engine marketing effectiveness. Therefore the purpose of this research is to explore marketing performance of search engine marketing(SEM) based on search engine optimization. In order to build an optimal SEM strategy, quantitative data are collected from the Google-analytics such as homepage visits, page views, and traffic source for three years. At the same time, this study has carried out a survey to measure the qualitative effectiveness. The result of this quantitative study suggests that the existing carryover effects and lag effects would be maintained through search engine optimization. Meanwhile, the qualitative survey shows that satisfaction and awareness of homepage have been improved after search engine optimization. This can support logically increase of homepage visiting ratio of quantitative analysis. Also exporting companies know very well, that traffic and page views have increased after search engine optimization.

  • Purpose - "Trade Facilitation" aims the easier flow of trade across borders, driven not only by effective customs administration, the efficiency of appropriate authorities, but also by telecommunications, the quality of infrastructures and competent logistics. Facilitating trade will help lower trade development costs as well as improve economic development and enhance economic benefits for emerging economies at a time when imports and exports are sent in and out across borders several times in the form of intermediate and final products. Not only that, globalization is being accelerated, which in turn increases competitiveness and this makes logistics one of the key factors when it comes to international trade. Highly efficient logistics services promote product movement, ensure product safety and delivery speed, and reduce trade costs between countries. The purpose of this study is, by using the LPI indices based on gravity model estimates, to analyze the impact of each LPI component on trade with the 20 biggest exporting countries of Northeast Asian countries-Korea, Japan, and China-which account for 19.05% of global exports. Design/methodology - Also, this study statistically analyzes the impact of trade on Northeast Asian countries' top 20 exporting countries, using the LPI indices relevant to Trade Facilitation based on the gravity model estimates. Findings - As a result, it was turned out that the distance, GDP, and the LPI components have relevant impact on the trade exports of all three countries but demonstrated little relation to the demographic perspective. Originality/value - The study also found we can increase the trade volume by improving three countries' trade partners' LPI indices since Korea, Japan, and China share most of their 20 biggest trade partners.

Moreover, these researches based on a presupposition that exporting companies could make good use of FTA. Actually, these assumptions are clearly contrary to the reality of FTA application of exporting companies in Korea and the results are significantly differ from the performance of FTA. Based on the investigation of utilization of FTA, applied by export companies in Korea, this study tries to find out the most efficient strategies of the application of FTA. And the objective of this study is to propose some practical suggestions for export companies based on the case an alysis which will help them to improve performances of Korea-ASEAN FTA application. As the prior investigation of CEO's characters, application of FTA, and the implement of FTA, we got the fact that among lots of marketing strategies, Korea-ASEAN FTA is used extensively by large export companies. However, most of small and medium-sized export enterprises would like to choose conventional tariff, such as Lower tariffs and zero tariff as the main marketing strategies. In other words, because of lacking of human resources and infrastructure, the application of Korea-ASEAN FTA strategy is hard to achieve.

  • This study incorporates the structural relationships between leadership styles (LS), affect climate (AC), and organizational performance (OP) in Korean export manufacturing companies with three or more overseas subsidiaries. A theoretical model is suggested with the following empirical results. First, the positive effect of engaging leadership (EL) on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), as well as of engaging leadership, involving leadership (IL), and goal-oriented leadership (GL) on team performance (TP), proved to be significant. Second, both engaging leadership and goal-oriented leadership have significant positive effects on optimism, while involving leadership has significant negative effects on pessimism. Third, only optimism has a positive (+) effect on OCB and TP. The mediating effects were proved to be significant in two paths: one in EL->optimism->OCB and the other in EL->optimism->TP. Finally, in responding to rapid changes in the external environment of exporting companies, the engaging leadership is a key source of organizational performance by forming a favorable affect climate. Therefore, top management should recognize the role of team leaders and strengthen their leadership training. In addition, it was confirmed that leaders with emotional intelligence that can respond to the affects of members play a more important role in forming an optimistic climate in Korea export manufacturing enterprises with foreign subsidiaries.

To increase export, a continuous making profits is the most important to companies and TSO(Trade Support Organization) needs to provide a trade support services to the exporting firms. In this context, this study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the correlation between company performance and service quality, utilization and customer satisfaction of TSO. Some implications from the results of this study are suggested. First, TSO needs to boost the utilization of its services by enhancing systemizing, reliability and empathy of its service qualities. And then, TSO needs to encourage companies to focus on export-oriented business mind, since these companies have tendency to show a better practical application and high degree of performance as well. Third, TSO needs to develop some exceptional services for the companies with the low weight of export in turnover since those groups tend to have higher customer satisfaction. Our major findings contribute to the trade support service planning of TSO.
