LabVIEW를 이용한 철도 선로전환기 융설용 태양광-풍력 발전 모니터링 시스템의 적용 방법 (The Application of Monitoring System Methods of Photovoltaic-Wind Power Generation for Railway Switching Point Heating Using LabVIEW)

  • The monitoring system is an absolutely required system for improving a performance to consider the situation for the hybrid generation of the photovoltaic (PV) and wind power (WP) energy experimental research complex. This system is to monitor with the railroad switching point heating system using LabVIEW to the hybrid generation of the PV and WP. The monitoring system of this paper is a program monitoring the hour, day and total of the voltage and current that made from the hybrid generation of PV and WP. In experiment, we acquired the power data according to time at the day of PV and WP. We have confirmed the possibility of the real time monitoring system using LabVIEW with the railroad switching point heating system as the hybrid generation of the PV and WP.

VR 콘텐츠의 사이버 멀미 유발 요인: 시점과 움직임의 효과에 대한 실험 연구 (Causes of Cyber Sickness of VR Contents: An Experimental Study on the Viewpoint and Movement)

  • 가상현실 시장의 빠른 성장에도 불구하고 사이버멀미(Cyber sickness) 증상은 여전히 사용자 경험 차원에서 가장 심각한 문제점이다. 본 연구의 목적은 VR 콘텐츠의 시점과 움직임에 따라 사용자가 느끼는 멀미증상에 차이가 있는지 확인하는 것이다. 실험 설계를 통해 VR 헤드셋을 착용하고 게임 콘텐츠를 수행할 때 1인칭-3인칭의 시점 조건과 수직축-수평축의 머리 움직임 조건이 사이버 멀미에 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 분석 결과 3인칭보다 1인칭 시점에서, 수직축보다 수평축 회전 움직임 조건에서 멀미 증상이 더 심했다. VR 착용시의 시점과 움직임은 사이버 멀미에 영향을 미치지만, 시점과 움직임간의 상호작용은 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과에 기반하여 멀미감 감소와 함께 균형있는 VR 사용자 경험을 구축하기 위해 콘텐츠 기획에서 고려해야 실무적 요소들을 제시하였다. 적절 수준의 콘텐츠 몰입을 위한 시각적 디자인, 다중감각 인터페이스 디자인, 체험 마케팅 전략을 통해 VR의 긍정적 경험을 강화할 수 있다. 다양한 VR 콘텐츠 장르 개발을 위한 좌우 이동축에 대한 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

  • The continuing need for more compact and reliable switching power supplies have aroused a renewed interest in a well founded control technique the Magnetic Amplifier(Magamp). Magamp have some advantages of higher power density simple control circuit, good regulation, high frequency and high performance. The control method with magamp become attractive solutions for high current post regulated output applications. In this study, it is proposed that the magamp technique in flyback converters with multiple output windings. Operation principle of the proposed approach is described and a description of magamp control loop behavior is given first from a circuit level point of view. Then the focus is shifted to look at the same issue from the block diagram point of view. Experimental verifications on 50W multiple output flyback converter are conducted. Simulations and experimental results show that the proposed approach is high efficiency and voltage regulation of the auxiliary output is excellent.

MultiView-Based Hand Posture Recognition Method Based on Point Cloud

  • Hand posture recognition has played a very important role in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computer Vision (CV) for many years. The challenge arises mainly due to self-occlusions caused by the limited view of the camera. In this paper, a robust hand posture recognition approach based on 3D point cloud from two RGB-D sensors (Kinect) is proposed to make maximum use of 3D information from depth map. Through noise reduction and registering two point sets obtained satisfactory from two views as we designed, a multi-viewed hand posture point cloud with most 3D information can be acquired. Moreover, we utilize the accurate reconstruction and classify each point cloud by directly matching the normalized point set with the templates of different classes from dataset, which can reduce the training time and calculation. Experimental results based on posture dataset captured by Kinect sensors (from digit 1 to 10) demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

FFD를 이용한 3차원 라스트 데이터 생성 시스템 (Development of a Three Dimensional Last Data Generation System using FFD)

  • This paper presents a 3D last design system that provides the 3-dimensional last data based on the FFD(Free Form Deformation) method. The proposed system utilizes the control points for deformation factor to convert from the 3D point cloud foot data to the 3D point cloud last data. The deformation factor of the FFD is obtained from the conventional last design technique, and constructed on the FFD lattice based on the bottom view and lateral view of the measured 3D point cloud foot data. In addition, the control points of FFD lattice is decided on the anatomical points of foot. The deformed 3D last obtained from the proposed FFD is saved as a 3D dxf foot data. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system have the descent 3D last data based on the openGL window.

View Synthesis and Coding of Multi-view Data in Arbitrary Camera Arrangements Using Multiple Layered Depth Images

  • In this paper, we propose a new view synthesis technique for coding of multi-view color and depth data in arbitrary camera arrangements. We treat each camera position as a 3-D point in world coordinates and build clusters of those vertices. Color and depth data within a cluster are gathered into one camera position using a hierarchical representation based on the concept of layered depth image (LDI). Since one camera can cover only a limited viewing range, we set multiple reference cameras so that multiple LDIs are generated to cover the whole viewing range. Therefore, we can enhance the visual quality of the reconstructed views from multiple LDIs comparing with that from a single LDI. From experimental results, the proposed scheme shows better coding performance under arbitrary camera configurations in terms of PSNR and subjective visual quality.

  • Basu (1980) examined Fisher Randomization Test (FRT) of matched pair experimental data with critical point of view. Additionally, Lane (1980) pointed out that "the experimenter may be interested in a weaker notion of equality between two treatments, " than the notion of equality which FRT relies on. In this study, a randomization test is developed so that it can test a weaker hypothesis of equality. equality.

우리나라 보건의료 관련 다문화 정책의 현황과 과제: 간호학적 측면에 대한 고찰 (Current status and problems of healthcare-related multi-cultural policy in Korea from nursing's point of view)

  • This research examines, based on nursing's point of view, the current status and problems of the healthcare-related multi-cultural policy which is one of the major issues of contemporary Korea. Today, Korean society is facing a drastic increase of migrant workers and marriage for migration in Korea that leads to the transition to multiculturalism. Each field of society is providing prevalent supports to solve the problems of multicultural families and to promote adoption to Korean society. The activities and researches for multicultural families in nursing area were found and analyzed. 11 researches and 2 books were published. Among these 13 publications, 10 were on the marriage with immigrant women. 8 researches out of 11 (72.7%) were defined as the descriptive surveys, and 3 researches (27.3%) were defined as quasi-experimental studies. Although Korea Nurses Association (KNA) led various activities, more researches and activities by nurses and nursing scholars are required to contribute in improving the health of multicultural families.

An Empirical Study of Qualities of Association Rules from a Statistical View Point

  • Minimum support and confidence have been used as criteria for generating association rules in all association rule mining algorithms. These criteria have their natural appeals, such as simplicity; few researchers have suspected the quality of generated rules. In this paper, we examine the rules from a more rigorous point of view by conducting statistical tests. Specifically, we use contingency tables and chi-square test to analyze the data. Experimental results show that one third of the association rules derived based on the support and confidence criteria are not significant, that is, the antecedent and consequent of the rules are not correlated. It indicates that minimum support and minimum confidence do not provide adequate discovery of meaningful associations. The chi-square test can be considered as an enhancement or an alternative solution.

  • This study has been accomplished as a experimental study for field application of 3D Perspective Image Map creation using Digital Topographical Map and based on the Ortho-Projection Image which is generated from Satellite Overlay Images and the precise Relative Coordinates of longitude, latitude and altitude which is corrected by GCP(Ground Control Point). AS to Contour Lines Map which is created by Coordinate conversion of 1:5,000 Topographical Map, we firstly made Satellite Image Map to substitute for Digital Topographical Map through overlapping the original images on top of each Ortho-Projection Image created and checking the accuracy. In addition to 3D Image Map creation for 3D Terrain analysis of a target district, Slope Gradient Analysis, Aspect Analysis and Terrain Elevation Model generation, multidirectional 3D Image generation by DEM can be carried out through this study. This study is to develop a mapping technology with which we can generate 3D Satellite Images of a target district through the composition of Digital Maps and Facility Blueprint and arbitrarily create 3D Perspective Images of the target district from any view point.
