배기팬츠 엉덩이둘레 여유분과 밑위길이 여유분 변화에 따른 시각적 이미지 - 20대 여성을 중심으로 - (Image differences based on changes in hip circumference and crotch length in baggy pants - Focused on women in their 20s -)

  • With a long crotch length and much ease in the hip area, baggy pants are visually expressed in a variety of designs when compared with regular pants. The purpose of this study is to define the image differences of various baggy pants designs according to hip circumference and crotch length ease. To that end, this study deduced the visual image variable of experimental baggy pants and analyzed visual images according to changes in hip circumference and crotch length. Nine baggy pants with different levels of hip circumference and crotch length ease were produced as experimental pants. The image of each pair of experimental baggy pants was evaluated based on pictures taken of the pants worn by a woman in her 20s with a standard body figure. The image assessment team was composed of 105 clothing majors. The research results are as follows. Four visual image factors of experimental baggy pants were extracted: whole body compensation, lower body compensation, hip compensation, and waist compensation. Among the 4 factors, the whole body compensation factor was shown as the most representative factor. The body compensation image was higher with less hip circumference ease in the experimental baggy pants, and more hip circumference ease created the optical illusion of a larger body figure, presenting a significant difference between waist circumference and hip circumference. The lower body compensation factor, hip compensation factor, and waist compensation factor all showed a significant influence on changes in hip circumference ease. This result shows that changes in hip circumference ease exerted more influence on the body compensation image than did changes in crotch length ease. The results of this study provide basic data for predicting visual images according to differences in the level of ease in baggy pants, helping people select clothing suitable to their preferences and body shapes.

공작기계 열변형의 실험적 보정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Experimental Compensation of Thermal Deformation in Machine Tools)

  • Thermally induced errors of machine tools have been recognized as one of the most important issues in precision machining. This is probably the most formidable obstacle to obtain high level of machining accuracy. To this regard, the experimental compensation methodologies such as software-based method or origin shift of machine tool axes have been suggested. In this research, to cope with thermal deformation, a model based correction was carried out with the function of an external machine coordinate shift. Models with multi-linear regression or neural network were investigated to selected a good one for thermal compensation. Consequently, multi-linear regression model combined with origin shift was verified good enough form the machining of dot matrices of plate with ball end milling.

  • This paper concerns on stabilization control of a gyro-stabilized 2-axes gimbal system which is mounted on a moving vehicles such as automobiles, armored vehicles, ships, flying vehicles, etc. A target image acquisition system is attached on the inner gimbal, and the gimbal systems are required to retain high stabilization accuracy in the absolute coordinate in order to provide fine target image while vehicle is moving. The stabilization control performance is hardly depended upon disturbance rejection ability of control, and disturbance feedforward compensation is effective because feedforward compensation reduce the amount of disturbance before the disturbance disturbs the systems. This paper suggests an experimental method which can estimate system parameters and disturbance torques by using 3-axes accelerometer mounted on the inner gimbal. Furthermore, a simple disturbance identification method which can be applied to any slanted base conditions has been suggested to identify mass unbalance vector and friction torques of each gimbal simultaneously. By using the estimated parameters, a feedforward compensation has been applied to the gyro-stabilized 2-axes gimbal system. The experimental results showed that the feedforward compensation based on the identification method suggested is effective to improve stabilization performances.

외란 추정기를 이용한 펜듀봇 시스템의 사인파형 외란 보상 (Compensation of Sinusoidal Disturbance in Pendubot System using Disturbance Observer)

  • This paper deals with the pendubot control using disturbance observer. Experimental results for the motion of pendubot with balancing control show that the limit cycle can be attributed to the disturbance. Therefore, we propose the disturbance compensation method using by disturbance observer to compensate for the disturbance. Through the experimental results, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

Development of the Bias-Cut Dress Pattern Making Method by Applying Fabric Draping Ratio

  • This study aimed to investigate a bias pattern making method with geometrical approach. The bias-cut dress has soft silhouette of drape in the garment. However, the bias cut dress has problem of satisfying the intended garment size spec. This problem occurs from various sources. The main reason is that the bias-cut fabric tends to stretch on longitudinal direction and to shrink horizontal direction when it was hung on the body. The goal of this study was to develop a bias-cut dress pattern making method satisfying the intended garment size spec. The researchers developed the geometrical method of measuring dimensional change by calculating the compensation ratio of the fabric in true bias direction. The compensation ratio was calculated by applying draping ratio of the fabric. Three types of fabrics were used in the experiment. The warp and weft crossing angle of fabric was ranged from $78^{\circ}$ to $82^{\circ}$. The fabrics stretched longitudinally 6.9~9.9% and shrank horizontally 7.2~11.0%. The compensation ratio of the bias-cut pattern for sample dress was calculated for each fabric type. Two types of experimental bias-cut dress patterns were developed for each fabric. One pattern was made with applying full compensation ratio and the other one made with applying partial ratio of the fabric. Experimental dresses were made with these patterns. The results of the evaluation showed that the bias-cut dress pattern applying the partial compensation ratio was more appropriate than the pattern applying the full compensation ratio.

광대역 GPS신호의 2차원 방향탐지를 위한 방사보정 기법 및 시험 방안 (The Radiation Compensation Method for Two Dimensional Direction Finding of GPS Signal and Experiment Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 광대역 GPS 신호의 방위각 및 고각의 2차원 방향 탐지를 위한 방사 보정 기법을 제안하고, 이를 이용한 시험 방안 및 시험 결과를 제시한다. 기존의 방향 탐지 기법들은 탐지된 신호의 방위각 방향으로만 방향 탐지를 수행하여, 방향 탐지를 위한 시스템 보정 시 전파의 입사 각도에 따른 방위각 방향으로만 보정 값을 가지고 테이블을 형성하였다. 그러나 최근 시스템 및 방향 탐지의 응용 대상이 다양화함에 따라 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 2차원 방향 탐지가 가능하도록 고각 및 방위각 모두의 위상차를 가지는 보정 테이블을 형성한다. 우리는 2차원 보정 테이블을 이용해 방향 탐지가 가능한지 확인하기 위해, 고각 및 방위각의 2차원 방향 탐지가 가능한 안테나를 기준으로 이론적 위상차 데이터를 산출하였다. 그리고, FEKO EM 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 위상차를 시뮬레이션 하여 보정테이블을 산출하였으며, 제시된 2차원 보정 기법을 이용하여 방사 보정 시험을 통해 그 결과를 확인하였다.

A Topological Transformation and Hierarchical Compensation Capacitor Control in Segmented On-road Charging System for Electrical Vehicles

  • Experiencing power declines when the secondary coil is at the middle position between two primary coils is a serious problem in segmented on-road charging systems with a single energized segmented primary coil. In this paper, the topological transformation of a primary circuit and a hierarchical compensation capacitor control are proposed. Firstly, the corresponding compensation capacitors and receiving powers of different primary structures are deduced under the condition of a fixed frequency. Then the receiving power characteristics as a function of the position variations in systems with a single energized segmented primary coil and those with double segmented primary coils are analyzed comparatively. A topological transformation of the primary circuit and hierarchical compensation capacitor control are further introduced to solve the foregoing problem. Finally, an experimental prototype with the proposed topological transformation and hierarchical compensation capacitor control is carried out. Measured results show that the receiving power is a lot more stable in the movement of the secondary coil. It is a remarkable fact that the receiving power rises from 10.8W to 19.2W at the middle position between the two primary coils. The experimental are in agreement with the theoretical analysis.

Power Quality Optimal Control of Railway Static Power Conditioners Based on Electric Railway Power Supply Systems

  • Aiming at the negative sequence and harmonic problems in the operation of railway static power conditioners, an optimization compensation strategy for negative sequence and harmonics is studied in this paper. First, the hybrid RPC topology and compensation principle are analyzed to obtain different compensation zone states and current capacities. Second, in order to optimize the RPC capacity configuration, the minimum RPC compensation capacity is calculated according to constraint conditions, and the optimal compensation coefficient and compensation angle are obtained. In addition, the voltage unbalance ${\varepsilon}_U$ and power factor requirements are satisfied. A PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm is used to calculate the three indexes for minimum compensating energy. The proposed method can precisely calculate the optimal compensation capacity in real time. Finally, MATLAB simulations and an experimental platform verify the effectiveness and economics of the proposed algorithm.

견실한 비선형 마찰보상 이산제어 - 응용 (Robust Digital Nonlinear Friction Compensation-Application)

  • To prove the stability and the effectiveness of the robust non-linear friction control suggested and proved analytically in the previous paper, the describing function analysis is introduced. The instability of the Southward's nonlinear friction compensation for a digital position control and the improvement of phase margin of the robust nonlinear friction compensation are verified qualitatively through the describing function analysis. Those controls are applied to a single-axis digital servo driving experimental setup which has inherent stick-slip friction and experimental results confirm the results obtained in and the effectiveness of the robust nonlinear friction compensation for a digital position control.

  • The active filter system for harmonic current compensation is presented in this paper. The active filter, composed of a three-phase voltage-type PWM inverter and the capacitor, compensates both the harmonic currents and the reactive power by injecting the PWM current to the ac line. This paper describes the principle of harmonic current compensation, the calculation circuits for the harmonic currents to be injected, the several compensation characteristics. Also the experimental results are shown to verify the theory proposed in this paper.
