Rhyme of Truce, Training Program for moral psychology in Cyberspace

  • Rhyme of Truce is an educational program that helps you develop the ability to cope with cyber violence rightly. we aim to produce educational contents that will last a long time in the memory of specially children. By combining the room escape game and Leap motion / VR, the program reflects the user's motion and action in real time. The Keyboard Worrier comes into contact with the user and causes violence, and the user who is attacked by the monster see several negative messages written in red and hears abuses sound. Users enter the virtual space decorated as the cyber world. They can experience cyber-violence indirectly but vividly, and if language violence, which has been overlooked and recognized only as "letters", is executed offline, it will directly wonder if cyber-violence should also be regarded as a means of violence. Users have the opportunity to cope with violence autonomously. When a user is attacked by an in-game monster, there are two ways to choose from. First, fighting against with a keyboard (which is a symbol of language violence) just like a monster. Second, report the abuser to cyber bureau police. Both methods make them to escape the room, but when they get out of the room and return to the home and read the message through the monitor, users can recognize which action was right for.

임상간호사의 돌봄대상자로부터 언어폭력 경험 (Clinical Nurses's Experience of Verbal Violence by Care Recipients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study are to understand the meaning and essential structure of clinical nurses' experiences of verbal violence and find nursing intervention for them by applying phenomenological research method. Methods: The participants in this study were seven clinical nurses with experience of verbal violence. Data collection were conducted from August 2016 through January 2017 until data saturation. Data analysis was performed through a cyclical process of data collection and analysis by applying Giorgi's phenomenological method. Results: Four categories were identified: A weapon of the mind: the shock of verbal abuse; negative emotions that shake my heart; skepticism about the value and meaning of a job; an unforgettable wound. Conclusions: The results of this study provide a deeper understanding of the pain caused by verbal violence experienced by nurses from their care recipients. These results suggest that nursing interventions for nurses with experience of verbal violence will contribute to resolving the problem.

A Structural Analysis on the Influence of Multi-Cultural Families in Psychological Inadequacy for Youth

  • Teenagers in multicultural families are more prone to depression and problem behaviors caused by violence such as bullying in schools due to their appearance, language presentation skills, and poor learning abilities compared to teenagers in general families. This study is meaningful in that it provides basic information for prevention measures in intervening with damage caused by school violence such as depression, anxiety, suicidal impulses and emotional and social. For this purpose, a survey of 300 elementary school students from 4 to 6 grade, junior high school, and high school students was conducted. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed and of thos e 385 were used for the final analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, the psychological factors of suicidal ideation were higher in the victimized group than school violence. Second, there was a significant difference in the relationship between emotional - social isolation and school violence experience. Third, there was a significant difference in the relationship between experience of suicide ideation and depression as well as anxiety of emotional - social isolation with psychological maladjustment. In conclusion, we plan to find ways to stabilize the multicultural society by providing prevention and protection measures against school violence.

수술실 간호사의 언어폭력유형, 정서적 반응과 대처에 대한 융합연구 (Verbal Violence Type in Operating Room Nurses, Fusion Study on Emotional Response and Coping)

  • 본 연구는 수술실 간호사의 언어폭력유형, 정서적 반응과 대처와의 관계를 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구 대상은 종합병원 20곳 수술실에 근무하는 간호사 400명을 편의 추출하였고, 총 382부 중 372부가 분석되었다. 분석결과, 대상자가 경험한 언어폭력 가해자는 의사, 직속상사가 많았고, 대상자의 과반수이상이 이직을 생각하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 언어폭력이 발생하는 상황은 수술동안 사용해야 할 혹은 사용 중인 장비가 기능을 못할 때가 가장 많았고, 폭력유형은 반말을 한다가 가장 높게 나타났다. 언어폭력경험은 결혼, 임상경력, 근무형태에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였고, 언어폭력 정서적 반응은 성별, 직위와 대처와는 연령, 학력, 임상경력, 직위와 유의한 차이를 보였다. 언어폭력 경험과 정서적 반응, 정서적 반응과 대처간의 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 언어폭력 대처방법 및 예방교육 프로그램 개발에 일조할 것이다.

남녀 고교생이 이성교제 단계에서 경험하는 심리적, 성적 폭력 (Psychological and Sexual Violence in Dating among Male and Female Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the dynamics of psychological and sexual violence in dating among high school students. Subjects consisted of 1,205 male and female adolescents from all parts of the country. 1,092 respondents were included in the final analysis(90.6%). For psychological violence, 13.3%(n=145) reported to have such experiences with a dating partner at least once or more. The most frequently used forms of violence were shouting, insulting language and behaviors, and blaming for a physical appearance. There were no sex differences in frequency of psychological violence between males and females, as an aggressor or a victim. Responses of victims were mostly negotiation and communication, and trying to forget it. For sexual violence, 27.8%(n=303) was found to have such experiences in a dating scence at least once or more. Hugging and kissing, close contact of parts of body, and gazing at parts of body were most frequently used forms. Responses of victims were pretending not to notice it and responding in the same way. There were significantly more male aggressors of sexual violence than females, but no sex difference in the number of victims. Those who reported to have experiences of violence were compared to the counterparts who had no experience in attitudes toward violence between dating partners and married couples, experiences of violence in childhood, school violence, and observations of violence between parents. Those with experience of dating violence reported to have significantly more experiences of violence in childhood and school, and parental violence. Based on the findings of this study, suggestion were made in regard to the need for development of dating violence prevention program for adolescents, and for welfare programs for adolescents in community.

청소년의 학교폭력 실태에 관한 연구 -일지역 남자고등학생을 중심으로- (The Study on Violence Status in High School -Based on One Area High School Students-)

  • The reality of violence involving youth has recently increased and has become a serious social problem. The study was done to identity violence related feetors including types of assault, victim status and a violence preventive plan. The subjects were students in boy's high schools in the Jinju area and data were collected through a questionnaire. The research was done to demonstrate the seriousness of school violence and to determine the origins of the problems present measures to eradicate school violence. 1. The types of assault included slander, violent language to classmates, destroying school property, stealing money by beating and violent conduct, sexual harrassment or sexual violence. About 19% of the high school students had experience as violent assaulters. The reasons for such assault were abuse by the victim, discontent at home & school and for amusement with friends without any reason. 2. With respect to the status of damage by violence most cases took place within the school which is considered to be safe for students. Violence such as slander, abuse, violence language, disregarding or excluding took place the most at school and in case of the assaulter it was a college student or a student in the senior grad. 3. As for measure to prevent violence identified by the students, the need to provide space for youth leisure activity was listed as important along with the need for guidance for the future which took into account suitability related to the student's ability and the need to get rid of education mainly for entrance exams. Endeavors to prevent violence must be persistent in all aspect, so that such inhuman like violence will not appear and the negative elements raised by youth will be solved one by one.

School Violence, Depressive Symptoms, and Help-seeking Behavior: A Gender-stratified Analysis of Biethnic Adolescents in South Korea

  • Objectives: In South Korea (hereafter Korea), the number of adolescent offspring of immigrants has rapidly increased since the early 1990s, mainly due to international marriage. This research sought to examine the association between the experience of school violence and mental health outcomes, and the role of help-seeking behaviors in the association, among biethnic adolescents in Korea. Methods: We analyzed cross-sectional data of 3627 biethnic adolescents in Korea from the 2012 National Survey of Multicultural Families. Based on the victim's help-seeking behavior, adolescents who experienced school violence were classified into three groups: 'seeking help' group; 'feeling nothing' group; 'not seeking help' group. Multivariate logistic regression was applied to examine the associations between the experience of school violence and depressive symptoms for males and females separately. Results: In the gender-stratified analysis, school violence was associated with depressive symptoms in the 'not seeking help' (odds ratio [OR], 7.05; 95% confidence interval [CI], 3.76 to 13.23) and the 'seeking help' group (OR, 2.77; 95% CI, 1.73 to 4.44) among male adolescents after adjusting for potential confounders, including the nationality of the immigrant parent and Korean language fluency. Similar associations were observed in the female groups. However, in the 'feeling nothing' group, the association was only significant for males (OR, 8.34; 95% CI, 2.82 to 24.69), but not females (OR, 0.77; 95% CI, 0.18 to 3.28). Conclusions: This study suggests that experience of school violence is associated with depressive symptoms and that the role of victims' help-seeking behaviors in the association may differ by gender among biethnic adolescents in Korea.

방사기저함수 인공 신경망을 이용한 다문화가정 초등학생의 우울증상 경험 예측 모델링 (Radial Basis Function Neural Network Modeling of Depression Experience in Elementary School Students of Multi-cultural Families)

  • 이 연구는 방사기저함수(RBF) 인공신경망을 이용하여 우리나라 다문화가정 초등학생의 우울증상 경험 예측 모델링을 구축하였다. 전국조사에 참여한 만 9세 이상 12세 이하 다문화 자녀 초등학생 23,291명(남 12,016명, 여 11,275명)을 분석 대상으로 하였다. 결과변수는 이분형의 우울증상 경험으로 정의하였고, 설명변수는 성, 거주지역, 사회적 차별 경험, 지난 1년간 학교폭력 경험, 한국어 교육 경험, 다문화 가족지원센터이용경험, 한국어 읽기, 한국어 말하기, 한국어 쓰기, 한국어 듣기, 한국 사회 적응 교육 경험을 포함하였다. RBF 인공신경망 모델링 결과, 한국어 교육 경험, 학교 폭력 피해 경험, 한국 사회 차별 경험, 한국어 읽기 수준은 다문화 초등학생의 우울증상을 분류하는 주요 예측 요인이었다. 다문화 아동의 우울증을 예방하기 위해서 한국어 읽기 수준이 저하된 집단에 대한 우선적인 관심과 상담이 필요하다.

학생선수의 인권침해 경험에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 -로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용한 팀 분위기, 소속종목 인권의식, 체육계 인권의식에 대한 분석을 중심으로- (A Study on the Factors Influencing Student Athletes' Human Rights Abuse Experience -Focusing on the analysis of environment in team, human right in event and human right in sports using logistic regression)

  • 이 연구는 중·고등 학생선수를 대상으로 인권침해 피해 경험에 영향을 미치는 요인의 인권침해 발생 메커니즘을 분석하여 인권침해를 줄일 수 있는 현실적인 정책적 방향 제시를 목적에 둔다. 이를 위해 구조화된 설문을 통해 수집된 학생선수 13,205명의 응답 자료를 로지스틱 회귀분석을 활용하여 분석하였다. 독립변인은 팀 분위기, 소속 종목 인권의식, 체육계 인권의식 등, 종속변인은 성적폭력, 성적 수치심, 신체 폭력, 언어폭력, 따돌림, 사생활 및 학습권 침해, 운동 관련 공정하지 않은 지도자의 행동 등으로 구성하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 팀 분위기, 소속 종목 인권의식, 체육계 인권의식은 신체 폭력, 언어폭력, 따돌림, 사생활 및 학습권 침해 피해에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성적폭력 경험에 대해서는 팀 분위기, 체육계 인권침해 의식 수준 변수는 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나 체육계 폭력허용도, 소속 종목 인권의식은 의미 있는 변수로 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 운동 관련 불공정 경험은 팀 분위기, 체육계 전반적인 폭력허용도 수준, 체육계 인권침해 의식 수준이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

치과위생사가 경험하는 언어폭력과 그에 따른 정서적 반응 및 이직의도와의 관계 (The Help of Experienced Dental Hygienists Turnover Verbal Abuse and Emotional Reaction, and the Resulting Relationship)

  • 치과위생사가 경험하는 언어폭력 정도에 대하여 조사하고, 언어폭력과 그에 따른 정서적 반응 및 이직의도와의 관계를 파악함으로써 치과위생사의 언어폭력 대처방안을 개발하고 치과위생사의 업무수행을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시하였다. 대상자는 부산광역시에 소재한 치과병의원에 근무하고 있는 치과위생사 257명을 직접 방문하여 2014년 5월 17일부터 5월 31일까지 자료 수집하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같다. 환자 보호자에 의한 언어폭력 결과 나에게 반말을 한 적이 있다 80.5%였으며, 6개월 동안 1~2회 정도 언어폭력에 노출되어 있었다. 동료 선후배 치과위생사에 의한 언어폭력 결과 나에게 반말을 한 적이 있다 52.1%였고, 1주일 1~2회 20.2%로 나타났다. 치과의사에 의한 언어폭력 결과 나에게 반말을 한 적이 있다 47.5%, 나에게 강압적인 명령조로 말을 한 적이 있다 34.6%로 나타났다. 환자 보호자의 언어폭력 $2.93{\pm}1.37$, 동료 선후배 치과위생사의 언어폭력 $2.37{\pm}1.64$, 의사에 의한 언어폭력 $2.28{\pm}1.61$ 순으로 언어폭력 중 가장 높게 나타났다. 환자의 언어폭력에 대해서 연령, 학력이 높을수록 기혼자일수록 언어폭력이 높은 것으로 나타났고 동료 치과위생사의 언어폭력에서는 연령이 낮을수록 미혼일수록 이직경험이 없을수록, 의사의 언어폭력에서는 미혼일수록 이직경험이 없을수록 언어폭력이 높게 나타났다. 이직의도 수준의 전체 평균은 3.06점으로 나타났으며, 언어폭력 후 정서적 반응, 이직의도(p<0.001)와도 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. '다른 곳으로 옮기고 싶다고 생각한 적이 있다' 3.11점으로 가장 높은 이직의도를 보였고, '다른 근무지를 찾는 것은 쉬운 일이다' 3.05점으로 가장 낮은 이직의도 수준을 보였다. 4. 나이와 환자의 언어폭력과는 상관관계(p<0.01)가 있었고, 환자의 언어폭력과 동료 간의 언어폭력, 치과의사의 언어폭력은 모두 상관관계가 있었다(p<0.001). 이상의 결과로 볼 때 치과위생사의 언어폭력 경험이 정서적 반응과 이직의도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 언어폭력을 감소시키기 위한 안전한 근무환경과 행정적 제도 마련이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.
