In addition, this study was carried out by analysing the emotional implication of descriptions selected from respondents' answers. A questionnaire survey was performed by questioning the students of D university about their significantly memorable adolescent experience in housing environment from the 4th to 15th of June 2007. Statistic date was analysed using the SPSS 14.0 Program.

The housing experiences were classified by stimuli and respones. Stimuli were again classified by the factors and characteristics of housing environment, whereas responses were classified by types and directions. Negative experiences were more frequent than positive ones. Negative evaluations were appeared more frequently In such case as the existence of community facilities, interior structure, bathrooms, and heating systems. The positive emotional experiences appeared more frequently were the natural characteristic$ of outdoors. When all the contents were analyzed by housing types experienced, subjects negatively remembered community facilities in high-rise apartments, and positively outdoors in detached single houses including traditional houses, and negatively heating systems in low-rise apartments and tenement houses. The purpose of this study is to examine the experience of case management practice for residents of low - income housing. The importance of the house for the vulnerable residents with homelessness is absolute, and case management that supports them to live as residents in the community is also very important. Nevertheless, the research so far has focused on the supply of affordable housing, the residential environment, the quality of life of the tenants, and the health, but there was a lack of interest in case management practices. In this study, we investigated the experience of case management practice by listening 10 case managers's experiences through FGI interview. As a result of the study, the case manager's experience is divided into four themes: 'Dilemma of support for the independent housing life after the facilities', 'Role competition between rent management and case management', 'Lonely practice for linkage and cooperation with the mainstream community support system', 'Double employment relationship and poor working environment' respectively. Based on their experiences, this study suggests practical and practical suggestions for case management of rental housing.

In conclusion, the reflection of interviewees' experiences in tropical country, suggested variations of housing structure type within a residential complex, air well and pocket by setback in building block for improving ventilation and noise prevention from neighbors, and ceiling fans in the house were suggested for the upcoming subtropical climate in Korea. Full option and minus options were also suggested for the presale market to reduce before occupancy remodeling needs. The research results implies valuable suggestions for a multicultural society, ecological housing and stronger communities.
Due to increasing awareness about the risk which will be caused by fast aging of population, the importance of aging friendly environment including housing has been paid much attention both individually and socially. In this regard, recently, in Korea, diverse elderly living facilities have increased in its number. Because of little experience, however, there have not been enough holistic understanding about aging friendly housing. Accordingly, most previous literature which introduced elderly housing to Korean society have translated differently, thereby caused more confusion. To facilitate communication about aging friendly housing, clear and consistent definition of its type and comprehensive range needs to be delineated. The purpose of this study is to classify various elderly housing alternatives in architecturally understandable way. This study was proceeded by content analysis of existing literature on elderly housing environment. A comprehensive review on the concept and existing classification of elderly housing was done prior to main analysis of translated Korean words. After classifying the Korean words of definition, systematic classification which focused on two important criteria of determining physical characteristics, such as space sharing degree and intentional plannedness was delineated and suggested. This research shows the first step toward the theoretical foundation for elderly housing classification.
The purpose of this study is to explore the formation process of housing notion for later life of the elderly which is based on one's lifetime housing experiences. Qualitative data was collected through in-depth interviews with 6 highincome, highly educated aged women, who could select their housing and move voluntarily in old age and explain their housing experiences logically. The findings of this study showed that housing notion for later life was formed through a complex process of individual personality, lifestyle, housing experiences, housing values, housing market and period background as well as socio-demographic characteristics. This qualitative study has a significance as a holistic approach to reveal the lifelong experience of elderly individuals which had not been to deal in the quantitative research of housing for the elderly in the meantime.
The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA) develops and implements a public housing programme to meet the housing needs of people who cannot afford private rental housing. The HKHA has an existing stock of about 740,000 public rental flats (PRH). According to the 2014 Policy Address, the Government aims to provide an average of about 20,000 PRH units and about 8,000 Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) units per year. We care for the environment. In developing new housing estates, we conduct thorough environmental studies such as microclimate studies and air ventilation assessment, and use passive design to harness the natural characteristics of our sites. We employ environment-friendly design and construction methods, using modular flat design, pre-cast and pre-fabricated construction techniques as well as recycled, green construction materials. We conduct Carbon Emission Estimation for all our projects, conserve the use of natural resources and reduce wastes throughout the life cycle of buildings. We care for people. We adopt the principles of Universal Design and Barrier Free Access for the convenience and welfare of people of all ages and abilities. We carry out Community Engagement to collect stakeholders' views and aspirations, and incorporate them in the design of our projects. We also carry out surveys of residents' views after the occupation of new estates to gauge our success and identify areas for improvement.
The principle of Korean Traditional Housing was to be harmonized with the nature with shapes according to regional climate and materials easily available from the region. These environmentally friendly characteristics protected indoor environment from climate changes. The characteristics of Korean traditional housing to control indoor environment would be very useful for contemporary housing in that current issues, improving housing amenity and wellbeing, had basic goals same with what Korean Traditional Housing had. Though it could be found characteristics of indoor thermal environment heated by Ondol Heating System, analyses of evaluation made by occupants of the rooms were insufficient because most of the studies had been focused on the measurement of indoor thermal factors. Thus, with an evaluation of occupants for the indoor thermal comfort and an estimation of discomfort derived from the result of vertical temperature distribution, it was studied whether the agreeable indoor range of rooms, of which was Jeonju Hanok Living Experience Center, heated by Ondol Heating System corresponded to the agreeable indoor range presented in references.
In modern society, diverse vulnerable population, such as homeless, disabled, elderly and so on, have been prominently appeared with polarization of wealth because of radial biased economic development and urban sprawl. Housing acquisition is a difficult problem for the venerable population to get, so appropriate alternatives should be explored. In USA, under the 'Housing First' principle, supportive housing has been developed as a main alternative. Sharing this alternative experience is very valuable to promote future development including policies. The purpose of this study is to delineate the trend of supportive housing research. This research is conducted by content analysis technique, and data were recent 29 research articles dealing supportive housing, collected from medical service data base where supportive housing research has started and diffused. As results, overall trends and characteristics appeared that the main research field was Psychiatry/Psychology, and mostly, they were correlational research. Mainly, resident type was mentally ill, and the principal research method was secondary data analysis. In general, all the service programs were mostly essential, and the number of congregate housing type appeared dominantly. The modern supportive housing is a social intervention to cope with instability of future housing welfare.
