일부 응급구조과 학생과 간호과 학생의 안락사에 대한 태도조사 연구 (Altitudes or EMT and Nursing students toward Euthanasia)

  • This descriptive study was conducted to identify the attitude toward euthanasia of EMT and nursing students and to compare their attitude before and after clinical practice. The convenience sample was comprised of 40 first grade and 40 second grade EMT students attended at G college in G-city, and 40 first grade and 40 third grade nursing students attended at C college in C-province. The variable was tested with an euthanasia attitude scale developed by Kim Ae Kyoung(2001). The valid responses were obtained and analyzed by using SPSS PC+ from November 25 to December 6, 2002. The results showed that most of the respondents agreed to have positive attitude toward euthanasia in terms of client's right and client's quality of life. Also, they thought that euthanasia should be legalized and the right to die with dignity should be guaranteed. The EMT respondents having a clinical experience showed significantly higher score than respondents having no experience in the subarea of medical ethics, and nursing respondents who had a clinical practice showed significantly higher score than others no experience in the subarea of quality of life. But, the other sub-areas had no significant difference between the respondents before and after clinical practice. The attitude toward euthanasia composed of sub-areas such as being after the quality of life, having a high regard for a life and recognizing client's right was not affected by the single factor of clinical practice. Therefore, much supportive intervention need to be done for the students about the significant affecting factors found in this study like a religion, values, education and observing experience of someone's death.

HTTP 적응적 스트리밍 서비스의 QoE 향상을 위한 비디오 품질 조절 알고리즘 (A Video Quality Adaptation Algorithm to Improve QoE for HTTP Adaptive Streaming Service)

  • 최근 높은 품질의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 제공하고 급증하는 트래픽을 처리하기 위해 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍이 등장하였다. HTTP 적응적 스트리밍 서비스의 QoE (Quality of Experience; 사용자 체감 품질)를 향상시키기 위해서는 평균적인 비디오 품질을 최대화해야 하며 품질 변경 주기, 품질 감소 폭, 그리고 끊김 현상을 최소화해야 한다. 최근 제안되었던 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍의 품질 조절 알고리즘들은 QoE 관련 특성을 세밀하게 고려하지 않아 높은 QoE를 제공하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍의 QoE 향상을 위해 SQA (Smooth Quality Adaptation) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 일정 기간 품질을 유지하고 비디오 품질의 급격한 감소를 방지함으로써 부드러운 사용자 체감 품질을 제공한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안하는 알고리즘이 대역폭 감소 구간에서 품질 변경 폭을 감소시키고 품질 변경을 최소화하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구는 현 품질명장들의 설문조사 분석과 독일의 마이스터제도, 일본 명공제도, 기능명장, 품질명장제도 고찰을 통하여 제도상 문제점을 도출하여, 품질명장제도 개선모형을 설정하였다. 첫째는 품질명장 선발분류 가이드 모형 설정하였으며, 둘째는 경험과 전문 기술이 이론과 접목을 위한 모형을 설정하였고, 셋째는 중소기업 경쟁력강화를 위한 품질명장 활용모형을 설정하였으며, 넷째는 향후 품질명장 되기 위한 기본적 모델을 제시하였다. 이러한 모델이 기대되는 효과로는 지식기반의 경제에서, 우수한 인재를 발굴과 육성 활용측면에서 품질명장은 각 분야에서 학문적 이론과 경험을 접목하여, 핵심적 전문기술과 지식, 최고의 기능 우수한 관리능력 및 참다운 인성보유자로 변혁적인 리더이자 전문가로써, 성과 창출로 기업경쟁력 향상과 후배 지도육성, 그리고 협력업체 지도로 혁신활동의 선봉장이 될 것이며, 중소기업 경쟁력강화를 위해서는 품질명장 정년퇴직 이후에도 제도적 보완으로 인재가 활용되어 중소기업의 기술축척과 배양이 가능 하리라 본다.

대학생의 가족학대경험, 사회부적응 및 자아탄력성과 일상생활만족의 관계 (Relationship between Family Abuse Experience, Social Maladaptation, Ego Resilience and Daily Life Satisfaction in University Students)

  • The purposes of this study were to find the correlation of family abuse experience, social maladaptation, ego resilience and daily life satisfaction in university students, and to explore the mediating role between ego resilience between family abuse experience, social maladaptation and daily life satisfaction. The subjects were 265 university students. The data were analyzed with frequency, Pearson's correlation and structural equation modeling by SPSS and AMOS. Instruments were Bradburn(1969)'s The Structure of Psychological Well-being, Olson and Barnes(1982)' Quality of Life, Straus(1988)'s CTSPC(Parent-Child Conflict Tactics Scales), Shin(2001)'s social maladaptation of Korean General Health, and Block and Kremen(1996)'s ego resilience. The major findings were as follows; Family abuse experience and social maladaptation were negatively correlated with ego resilience and daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience was positively correlated with daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience mediated the effects of family abuse experience, social maladaptation and daily life satisfaction. Family abuse experience and social maladaptation negatively influenced ego resilience and daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience positively influenced daily life satisfaction. Thus special education program and counseling should be provided to increase university students' daily life satisfaction through in order to built ego resilience.

공공병원 의료 질 관리 전담자의 의료 질 향상 활동 경험연구 (Quality Improvement Nurses' Experiences of Working for Healthcare Quality in Public Hospitals)

  • 본 연구는 공공병원 질 관리 전담자들의 병원 진료부문과 전반적 질 향상 활동의 경험 탐색을 통해 공공병원 질 향상 활동 방안을 수립하고자 수행되었다. 공공병원의 질 관리 전담자 10명을 대상으로 질 향상 활동 경험에 대해 포커스 그룹 면담을 수행하였다. 질 향상 경험 면담을 통해 '진료 부문과 전반적 의료질 향상 활동에 대한 성공과 실패', '현재 질 향상 활동의 활성화 정도', '공공병원 질 향상 활동의 특성' 그리고 '향후 질 향상 활동의 활성화를 위해 필요한 것들'의 범주화를 통해, '공공병원 고유의 특성에 따른 질 향상 활동의 성공', '리더십과 역량강화를 통한 공공병원 질 향상 활동의 활성화', '공공병원의 지역 중점 병원의 역할 재정립'의 주제를 도출하였다. 공공병원 진료 부문의 질 향상 활동은 의사의 참여가 중요하며 이러한 의사참여를 이끌어내기 위해서는 의사의 질 향상 활동의 성공적 경험을 공유하고 질 향상 활동에 필요한 지식을 제공하여 질 향상 전문성과 자율성을 보장하는 지원들이 필요하다. 또한 공공병원의 질 관리 전담자는 국가 의료 질 향상을 위한 핵심위치에서 질 향상 활동의 견인역할을 하고 지역 의료기관간 협력적 소통을 통해 의료 질 향상 활동을 이끌어가야 한다.

CoffeeSERV측정모형을 활용한 커피전문점 서비스품질의 가치지각, 고객만족, 행동의도의 영향관계 연구: 조절초점동기의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Impacts of the Service Quality of Coffee Shop Adapting the CoffeeSERV on Customer's Perceived Value, Customer Satisfaction, Behavioral Intention: Focusing on Regulatory Focus Theory)

  • Purpose - This study examined the relationship between service quality, perceived value, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention of coffee shop using CoffeeSERV scale. In this model, CoffeeSERV scale consists of fundamental characteristics, physical environment, confidence, beverage characteristics, and representation factors. In particular, this study tried to demonstrate the moderating effect of customer's regulatory focus orientation among in the relationships between service quality, perceived value, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. Research design, data, and methodology - This study intends to expand the existing service quality research by using the coffee shop service quality measurement tool developed by domestic researchers. I wanted to find some implications for the trend. In particular, this study applied the regulatory focus theory to identify individual differences of customers regulatory focusing motivation. In order to verify several hypotheses, the data were 227 college students and analyzed with SPSS/PC 21.0 and SmartPLS 3 program. The moderating role of customer's regulatory focusing motivation was tested using multi-group analysis with SmartPLS 3 program. Results - The resutls are as follows. First, the fundamental characteristic factors only had a significant influence on the utilitarian value perception, but in the hedonic value perception, all other service factors except for the beverage characteristic had a statistically significant effect. Second, utilitarian and hedonic value had significant effects on customer satisfaction. Third, customer satisfaction had a significant effect on behavioral intention. Finally, the regulatory focus orientation played a moderating role in the relationship between beverage characteristic - utilitarian value, representation - utilitarian value, fundamental characteristic - hedonic value, physical environment - hedonic value, confidence - hedonic value, and utilitarian value - behavioral intention. Conclusions - The results of this study show that the various service quality factors that make up the CoffeeSERV scale have different effects on utilitarian and hedonic value. This means that perceived benefits from product and service experience have different impacts on the customer's experience. Therefore, marketers should identify the impacts of service quality dimension that customers who use coffee shops consider important, understand the impact process of these quality factors on experience value, customer satisfaction, and behavioral intention, and allocate limited marketing budget. The results also show that it is possible to establish differentiatied response strategies using customer's regulatory focus orientation to find ways to enhance utlitarian and hedonic value, customer satisfaction, and behavioral intention using various Coffeeshop service quality factors. At the end of this paper, some limitations and future research directions were suggested.

HTTP 적응적 스트리밍 서비스의 QoE 향상을 위한 세그먼트 처리량과 버퍼 점유율 기반의 비디오 품질 조절 기법 (Video Quality Control Scheme Based on Segment Throughput and Buffer Occupancy for Improving QoE in HTTP Adaptive Streaming Service)

  • 최근 HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) 적응적 비디오 스트리밍 서비스가 주목 받고 있다. 기존 HTTP 적응적 비디오 스트리밍 서비스의 비디오 품질 조절 기법은 세그먼트 처리량을 표본으로 대역폭을 예측하고 평탄화 (Smoothing)를 한다. 그러나 기존 기법은 고정된 표본 개수로 평탄화를 하기 때문에 버퍼 언더플로우와 빈번한 품질 변화가 발생하여 QoE (Quality of Experience)를 저하시키는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 세그먼트 처리량과 버퍼 점유율 기반의 비디오 품질 조절 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 세그먼트 처리량 변화에 따라 표본의 개수를 적응적으로 결정하고 안정적인 버퍼 점유율을 유지할 수 있는 비트율의 임계값을 기반으로 비디오 품질 조절을 한다. 실험을 통해 제안 기법이 기존 기법에 비하여 버퍼 언더플로우 발생을 방지하고 품질 변화를 감소시켜 QoE를 향상시키는 것을 확인하였다.

고혈압 환자의 구강건강과 삶의 질에 관한 연구 (A study on oral health and quality of life in patients with hypertension)

  • Objectives: This study investigated the oral health and quality of life of patients with hypertension using the raw data of the 8th National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, the second year (2020) and 1,269 subjects were analyzed. Methods: The data underwent frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, general linear model analysis, and linear regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 26.0. Results: The quality of life (EuroQol-5 dimension: EQ-5D) of patients with hypertension was surveyed at 0.92 points/1 point. Quality of life according to general characteristics showed significant differences in gender (p<0.001), age (p<0.001), household income (p<0.001), and education level (p<0.001). Quality of life according to oral health showed significant differences in chewing discomfort (p<0.001), speaking discomfort (p<0.001), oral examination (p=0.004), toothache experience (p=0.020), subjective oral health (p<0.001) and oral care product use (p=0.006). Factors affecting quality of life were gender, age, household income, education level, chewing discomfort (B=-0.027, p=0.018), speaking discomfort (B=-0.049, p=0.026), toothache experience (B=-0.018, p=0.027) and subjective oral health (B=0.022, p<0.001). Conclusions: Based on the above results, it was confirmed that the oral health of patients with hypertension is a factor influencing the quality of life; thus, it is considered that it will be used as basic data for research on measures to improve oral health and quality of life.

만성 폐쇄성 폐질환의 중증도에 따른 자가관리, 증상경험 및 건강관련 삶의 질 (Self-Care, Symptom Experience, and Health-Related Quality of Life by COPD Severity)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to define the relationship among self-care, symptom experiences, and health-related quality of life(HRQoL) according to the severity of disease in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) patients. Methods: The participants, 195 COPD patients, were recruited at a pulmonology clinic of a universityaffiliated medical center in B metropolitan city. Inclusion criteria were patients who were diagnosed as COPD and had less than 0.7 of $FEV_1$/FVC(Forced Expiratory Volume for 1 second/Forced Vital Capacity) ratio. The severity was classified with GOLD(Global initiative for Obstructive Lung Disease) stages, $FEV_1%$ predicted value from mild to very severe. The data were gathered by the medical records and self-reported questionnaires. Results: The self-care, symptom experience, and HRQoL were all significantly different by COPD severity based on pulmonary function(p<.05). There were significant moderate negative relationships between symptom experiences and self-care(r=-.54, p<.001) and between symptom experiences and HRQoL(r=-.64, p<.001). There was a moderate positive correlation between self-care and HRQoL(r=.63, p<.001). Conclusion: It suggests that the assessment of disease severity based on pulmonary function and subjective symptom experience in patients with COPD may be a key component to develop a tailored self-management program and to improve their quality of life.
