For producing large numbers of professional nurses who could manage 21th century's human health, it is necessary to review the direction of registered nurses' national examination which evaluates the nursing education and is granted a licence. For adapting to social expectation of the nurse, we have to nurture the nurses' problem solving capability in clinical setting. Seven divisions of Korean Academy of Nursing suggested clinical competency according to their categories. This paper was presented in the work-shop for setting up direction of registered nurses' national examination. We expect that this paper would be more refine and confirm through reviewing subdivisions' learning objectives and discussing clinical minimum level of competence contents with clinical leaders.

The purpose of this paper was to find the apartment manager's general work, problems and opinion. 35 managers of multi-family housing which located in Kwangmyung city were interviewed during July, 1999. Questionnaire was consisted of questions which manager's opinion about their job boundaries. At the managerial standpoint, there was a perceived gap in expectation level about the manager's role between the manager and residents in multi-family housing complexes. The fact that the lack of interpersonal communication caused this gap was founded. Managerial rules and guidelines should be described in detail and be known by all residents. Specified guideline should be suggested regarding the boundaries of the manager's job, responsibilities and rights, and extra work beyond the management job in order to prevent conflicts or problems between the managing body and the residents. There guidelines also play an important role in solving the conflicts and problems in multi-family housing.

The objective of the study is to know demographic characteristics mobility motivation housing aspiration and housing values of expected purchasers of the small/medium size apartments located at 'H-area' in Ulsan to enhance their level of housing satisfaction through better planning. The result shows that moving motivation housing aspiration and housing values differ as what size respective expected purchasers want. As a regional characteristic the reality-oriented view of housing is apparent in that their interests are focused on the setups or facilities after-service and maintenance and that they think conveniency more important than the edifices' appearance or beauty.

An acceleration life test for rubber gasket of pole transformer was performed. The Arrhenius method was applied as an accelerated degradation test. The failure mode was considered as an elongation, and the failure mechanism is counted as a heat. It is found that both the current material(NBR: Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) and recommended alternative material(HNBR: Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) have the same Weibull distribution as a life characteristic. For life expectation 95% reliability level of characteristic life is used at using temperature. The test results for NBR and HNBR are 7.7 years and 28.0 years on $50^{\circ}C$ of using temperature, respectively.

A simple algorithm is presented for solving the thermal unit commitment problem which is one of very important areas in economic operation of power systems. This algorithm is based on simple priority ordering by the unit operation cost and it is shown that the operation cost of chosen sets of generators is the minimum. The proposed method differs from the conventional priority-based formulations in that the unit operation are calculated in every load level. Further the poerating reserve requiements are satisfied by the newly derived analytical security function or the expectation of reserve. The proposed method is proven to be very simple, accurate and efficient in a sample system.

The purpose of this study is to present HACCP management method for improving customer satisfaction in bakery industry. As a study method, literature review on HACCP and customer satisfaction and developing questionnaires through model design were done. Then, a survey was done to 209 customers who had experiences of visiting small size bakeries in Seoul or the national capital region. It was then statistically analyzed and examined. In conclusion, even though the respondents showed positive expectation that the certification of HACCP will have an effect on the factors of customer satisfaction like brand image, quality of product and service, facility and physical environment and so on, but as we proved in the course of study model's hypothesis confirmation, actually, current promoting efforts and strategies of the government or related institutions to spread recognition of HACCP don't have an meaningful effect on the factors of customer satisfaction.

In this article, we present some derived subjects from the concept of ICT-based DPD concept for the safety of folk villages in both Korea and Japan. First, our deduced topic would rather be a monitoring system design of structures in folk villages. We, therefore, offer an integrated model of maintenance and management monitoring scheme. As another research subject, we submit safety sign or sign system installed in traditional towns and their standardization. We have draw up a plan to make signs upgrade applied to folk villages in Korea and Japan. According to our investigations, we should suggest and focus on flood in the area of traditional town in Korea. We present a water-level expectation model using deep learning simulation. We have applied this method to the area of 'Andong Hahoe' village which had been registered on World Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. The final goal of our research is to propose and realize an integrated disaster prevention and/or safety system based on big data concepts for both Korea and Japan.

The purpose of the research is (1) to identify the usage of Quick Response technologies (QRT) by apparel retailers and the improvement of store attributes by QRT, and (2) to test a conceptual model which examines Consumer Satisfaction(CS) with apparel retail stores. A convenience sample of 32 retailers and 200 apparel consumers participated in the survey research. The most used technology is sales captured at the item level and the store attribute most improved by QRT is fast turnaround of goods. Disconfirmation(DC) (i.e., QRT based, non-QRT based attributes) had significant effects on CS with apparel retail stores. DC of QRT based attributes (e.g. reduced stockout) have more influence on CS than DC of non-QRT based attributes (e.g., location of store).

The purpose of this study is to suggest better ways for operating Slowcity Sangju based on the literature reviews about Participatory planning and empirical investigation. As a form of participatory planning, survey was conducted and examined the perception of residents toward importance of different sub-plans in operating Slowcity. The results show that the residents in Sangju have high level of preference on the economy related plans such as adding values to local products by applying the name of Slowcity to their resources. In addition, the more expectation and understanding to slowcity they have, the more interested in the participatory process and slowcity planning the residents become. Consequently, this research suggests that it is required for successful participatory planning of Slowcity to building an association for operating Slowcity with local peoples.

A study on techniques to evaluate auditorium assignment visible efficiency using three-dimensional simulation. The most important thing to be considered is to ensure the visibility to the podium upon assigning auditorium of venues, classrooms or seminar rooms. However, since there are so many variables to be considered such as the form of the stage, the area and height of the stage, size of screen, and the distance and angle of the auditorium from the podium, the methods to assign auditorium are staying at the level of basic for a long time. Thus, in this study, we proposed simulation methodology to quantitatively evaluate the three-dimensional visible efficiency based on Visual Graph Analysis (VGA) theory. After analytical methodology manufactures application, it sets examples of visibility depending on location of screen, visibility depending on degree of height difference and visibility about three-dimensional Mass Zoning like a stage and verifies the efficacy. In addition, based on results, visibility expectation curve is drawn and the method to calculate the stepped height depending on necessary visibility is proposed.
