  • In the rapidly developing 4th industrial revolution. RPA is increasing in use at home and abroad due to its advantages of simplifying workflow and providing flexibility and scalability at the same time. Thus, this paper conducted an empirical study on companies using RPA to determine which factors affect the intention to use the services provided by RPA systems. As system characteristics, exogenous variables were selected as information quality, system quality, and service quality of the information system success model. The endogenous variables were selected as the system acceptance factors for the performance and effort expectancy of the integrated technology acceptance model, and the perceived economic values and functional values were additionally selected. For the purpose of this study, a structured questionnaire was used for empirical analysis and the proposed hypothesis was verified through the path analysis of structural equations. As a result of the study, there was no significant relationship between service quality and effort expectancy, between service quality and economic value, and it was verified that the relationship between other factors was positively significant.

  • The main purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the effects of participation behavior and performance improvement on motivation factors of Korean university students which participated in LINC by utilizing Vroom's Expectancy Theory. Three motivation factors of valence, instrumentality, and expectancy were examined in this study. In addition, two different models (valence and force model) analyzed the causal relationships regarding participation behavior and performance improvement. 236 data were collected and findings of this study were as follows: First, comparative analysis between demographic characteristics including university, major, and residence had no significant differences in mean value. However, females had higher levels of recognition related to valence (attractiveness) relative to males. Second, valence and the force model were significant predictors of LINC participation behavior and performance improvement. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination and beta coefficient of the force model were higher compared with the valence model. Third, the level of mediation effects including direct, indirect, and total effect of the force model was higher than the valence model. LINC participation behavior had a partial mediating effect between the three motivation factors and performance improvement variable.

  • The goal of this study was to apply an expectancy-value model(Wigfield & Eccles, 2000) to explain changes in six multi-ethnic students' achievement motivation in mathematics during sixth (2012) to eighth (2014) grades. In order to achieve this goal, we used narrative research methods. Although individual students' achievement motivation and mathematics related life experiences differed, there are some common factors influencing their motivation development, especially (a) roles played by parents and teachers; (b) assessment of peers' competencies; (c) past learning experiences related to mathematics curriculum; (d) perception of the relationship between mathematics competency and other subjects; (e) home backgrounds; and (f) perceived task values. In this study, we achieved some insight into why some multi-ethnic students are willing to study hard to get good scores while others are uninterested in mathematics, and why some multi-ethnic students are likely to pursue new mathematical tasks and persist despite challenges, while others easily give up studying mathematics in the face of adversity. We argue that in order to increase and sustain multi-ethnic students' achievement motivation, educators and parents should recognize that motivation is contextually formulated in the intersection of current people, time, and space, not a personal entity formed in an individual's mind. The findings of this study shed light on the development of achievement motivation and can inform efforts to develop multi-ethnic students' positive motivation, which might influence their mathematics achievement and success in school.

  • Purpose: As mobile devices are commonly used and contact-free services are widespread due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the recent distribution environment, this study suggests retail strategies for consumers using high-speed railways. To this end, we analyzed how consumer perception on technologies necessary for use of mobile apps is related to the attitude that drives consumers to continue using the app services. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the extended unified theory of technology acceptance and use of technology model by Venkatesh, Morris, Davis and Davis (2003), we added variables proposed by existing theories that studied the technology acceptance model from multiple perspectives and empirically analyzed the relationship between user satisfaction and use intention with structural equation modeling. Results: As expected, factors necessary for the use of app services such as performance expectancy, social influence, price value, facilitating conditions, security, and aesthetics had positive effects on user satisfaction, whereas the effect of effort expectancy on user satisfaction was rejected. And user satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on intention to use. Conclusions: The results provide implications that strategic retail management of the above factors can motivate passengers to continuously use high-speed railways.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of technical acceptance factors of Chinese MZ generation consumers' use of online fashion platforms on behavioral intentions and usage behavior, and to determine whether satisfaction plays an additional role in the relationship between behavioral intentions and usage behavior. The research results can be summarized as follows. First, among the technology acceptance factors that influence Generation MZ consumers when they use online fashion platforms, it was found that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, habit, and content quality significantly influence the behavioral intention to use online fashion platforms. Second, the facilitating conditions and the platform usage intention of Chinese Generation MZ consumers directly and significantly influence the usage behavior on online fashion platforms. In contrast, it was confirmed that habit does not significantly influence actual usage behavior. Third, this study confirmed the moderating effect of satisfaction on the relationship between behavioral intention and usage behavior on online fashion platforms. This research, which proposes a research model explaining the usage intention and behavior of online fashion platforms based on UTAUT2, integrating not only the organizational aspect but also the consumer aspect to empirically verify the usage intention and the final usage behavior from the general consumer's perspective, has academic significance.

  • In this paper, the purpose is to verify the impact of performance expectations, effort expectations, social impact, individual innovation and perceived value on the intent of use and the behavior of use. Used Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to verify the applicability of this model in China, and established the research model by adding two new variables to UTAUT according to the situation of the Chinese market. To achieve this goal, 345 questionnaires were collected for experienced music creators using artificial intelligence nuggets in China by means of Internet research. The collected data were analyzed through frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and structural equation analysis through SPSS V. 22.0 and AMOS V 22.0. The verification of the hypotheses presented in the research model identified the decisive influence factors on the use of artificial intelligence music acceptance by Chinese users. The study is innovative in that it attempts to verify the applicability of UTAUT in the Chinese context. In the construction of the user acceptance model of AI music, three influencing factors will have an effect on users' intentions, and according to the degree of effect, from largest to smallest, they are respectively Perceived Innovativeness, Performance Expectancy and Effort Expectancy. This paper will also provide some management advices, i.e. improving the utility and usability of AI music, encouraging users with individual innovativeness, developing competitive and attractive pricing policies, increasing publicity, and prioritizing word-of-mouth advertising.

  • Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become the focus of societal attention due to its wide range of applications and profound impact. This paper constructs a comprehensive theoretical model based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), integrating variables such as Personal Innovativeness and Perceived Risk to study the key factors influencing enterprises' adoption of Generative AI. We employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to verify the hypothesized paths and used the Bootstrapping method to test the mediating effect of Behavioral Intention. Additionally, we explored the moderating effect of Perceived Risk through Hierarchical Regression Analysis. The results indicate that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Price Value, and Personal Innovativeness have significant positive impacts on Behavioral Intention. Behavioral Intention plays a significant mediating role between these factors and Use Behavior, while Perceived Risk negatively moderates the relationship between Behavioral Intention and Use Behavior. This study provides theoretical and empirical support for how enterprises can effectively adopt Generative AI, offering important practical implications.
