스트럿 부재와 융합단면을 이용한 기둥-보 강결 구조물 해석 (Analysis of Beam-column Joints in a Structure using Strut Members and Composite Section)

  • The composition of convergence cross-section of the material is a technique that provides reasonable design and construction of structures. It is frequently used in medium-sized bridges and architectural structures. However, the structural behavioral spare capacity enhancement of the structure by the application of the convergence cross-section is still limited by the expandability due to the limiting state of each material. In order to overcome these limitations, this study reasonably analyzed the construction stages before and after the convergence cross-section constructed and developed a technique for forming multi-point boundary conditions using struts, which are compression members. Based on the existing cases, a reasonable construction step for forming the material composite section of the entire structural system of the structure was derived, and a numerical analysis model for a specific part was constructed to analyze the behavior of the strut application. As a result of this study, the effect of reducing the sectional force of 7.40% in beam-column joint and 6.31% in the center of girder was derived, and the deflection, which is a measure of the serviceability of the structure, improved by 54.41% from the installation and dismantling of strut members at each construction stage.

  • 본 논문에서는 산업기계 및 로봇산업에 적용할 수 있는 직선 정밀 이송 장치의 구동부를 설계하였다. 동력의 전달방향 및 출력특성은 기존의 Rack-Pinion 타입과 유사하나 구동부에 대하여 새로운 Pin-Pinion Gear 타입을 적용시켜 랙 모듈화를 통한 무한 길이 확장성을 구현하고 고속이송 및 설치의 편의성을 확보할 수 있으며 이러한 Pin-Pinion Gear의 최적물림을 위한 Cycloid 치형 해석을 하였다. 그 결과 Cycloid 치형으로 설계시 핀과 피니언 기어의 백래쉬 및 물림 특성이 적합하여 정밀제어가 가능한 치형으로 분석되었다.

Selection of Transformer for the Augmentation of an Existing AIS EHV Substation in Hilly Terrain at 3000m+ Altitude

  • Augmentation of existing EHV substations located in hilly terrain and at high altitude require many different considerations as compared to substations located in plain areas and at lower altitude. Owing to high altitude and steep terrain, meticulous engineering and preparations are required, considering the actual available space at the existing substation. Historical fault events too must be considered to enhance reliability and performance of the substation equipment. This paper proposes ways to augment the existing 2 banks of 20MVA, 220/66kV power transformers ($3{\times}6.67MVA$, single-phase) to $2{\times}50$/63MVA, 220/66kV power transformers to meet continuously increasing demand of the capital city over the next 20 years. Upgrading and augmentation of existing substations, especially the main transformers and associated equipment, require replacement with minimum or no disturbance to the existing power supply system. Considerations should also be made during engineering and design, the operational flexibilities, maintenance aspects, future expandability and value addition, in terms of reliability and space usage of the existing substation.

토크컨버터 해석을 위한 다물체 자료 변환 프로그램 개발 (Development of Multi-body Data Conversion Program for Torque Converter Analysis)

  • The finite element programs have been developed for structure, collision, flow, dynamics, heat transfer, acoustics, electromagnetism, MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems), and etc. These programs can be classified as either "package" program or "single purpose" program. Single purpose programs usually have convenient and powerful functions, but these programs have limited expandability to different fields of analysis. Therefore, the method to converter the analysis results of single purpose program to other programs is needed. In the research, multi-body data conversion methods of 1) finite element model and 2) solid model were created to convert fluid analysis result of CFD-ACE+ to ANSYS data structure. Automatic boundary condition algorithms were developed for blade, and finite element model was compared with solid model. It is expected that, by sealess data transfer, the Multi-body Data Conversion Program could reduce the development period of torque converters.

네트워크 중심 작전 환경을 위한 정보 브로커 아키텍처 설계 및 평가 (Design and Evaluation of Information Broker Architecture for Network-Centric Operational Environment)

  • 효율적인 네트워크 운용으로 정보우위를 선점하는 것은 지휘결심의 속도를 가속화 하여 임무달성을 가능하게 하는 핵심 요소이다. 네트워크 중심전(NCW, Network-Centric Warfare) 개념의 등장 이후, 한국군은 정보공유 효과를 향상하기 위해 네트워크 중심 작전 환경(NCOE, Network-Centric Operational Environment)을 구축하여 효율적 정보공유 능력을 갖추고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 한국군 정보공유 환경의 제한을 극복하고, 미래 확장성과 정보공유 가능성을 극대화하기 위한 정보 브로커 아키텍처를 설계한다. 정보 브로커는 사용자와 정보 제공자 사이에서 중간자로 존재하며, 중재 및 관리 기능과 함께 보안의 기능을 제공한다. 또한 제시된 정보 브로커 아키텍처는 기존 아키텍처 설계관점 평가를 통해 일관성을 검증하고, 운용 아키텍처 설계 개념이 구현된 것을 확인하였다.

융합형 금융IT 프레임워크 적용방안 연구 (Study of the Application Method of a Converging Framework for Finance IT)

  • 은행들은 2020년대를 대비하여 새로운 개념의 시스템 구축을 준비하고 있다. 이의 핵심이 되는 코어뱅킹 솔루션의 프레임워크 형태는 다양한 요구조건을 수용할 수 있어야 하며, 또한 이를 활용한 구축 과정은 경제성과 확장성 확보, 적용에 따른 위험요소의 최소화 등 많은 난제를 해결해야 한다. 본 연구는 기존의 코어뱅킹 솔루션들의 프레임워크와 향후 필수 요건들을 수용할 수 있도록 설계된 새로운 융합형 코어뱅킹 솔루션의 프레임워크를 비교 분석하여 융합형 프레임워크를 검증하였다. 또한 은행들이 융합형 프레임워크로 대체 또는 확장하기 위한 핵심적인 적용방안과 그 장단점도 제시하였다. 아울러 은행들이 새로운 시스템으로 전환시 이행 효과와 필요한 성공 요소를 제시하였다.

Self-Evolving Expert Systems based on Fuzzy Neural Network and RDB Inference Engine

  • In this research, we propose the mechanism to develop self-evolving expert systems (SEES) based on data mining (DM), fuzzy neural networks (FNN), and relational database (RDB)-driven forward/backward inference engine. Most researchers had tried to develop a text-oriented knowledge base (KB) and inference engine (IE). However, this approach had some limitations such as 1) automatic rule extraction, 2) manipulation of ambiguousness in knowledge, 3) expandability of knowledge base, and 4) speed of inference. To overcome these limitations, knowledge engineers had tried to develop an automatic knowledge extraction mechanism. As a result, the adaptability of the expert systems was improved. Nonetheless, they didn't suggest a hybrid and generalized solution to develop self-evolving expert systems. To this purpose, we propose an automatic knowledge acquisition and composite inference mechanism based on DM, FNN, and RDB-driven inference engine. Our proposed mechanism has five advantages. First, it can extract and reduce the specific domain knowledge from incomplete database by using data mining technology. Second, our proposed mechanism can manipulate the ambiguousness in knowledge by using fuzzy membership functions. Third, it can construct the relational knowledge base and expand the knowledge base unlimitedly with RDBMS (relational database management systems) module. Fourth, our proposed hybrid data mining mechanism can reflect both association rule-based logical inference and complicate fuzzy relationships. Fifth, RDB-driven forward and backward inference time is shorter than the traditional text-oriented inference time.

  • This paper proposes ESS DC-DC Converter using Redox Flow Battery (RFB) for stand-alone microgrid. Price, safety, expandability and dynamics are crucial in ESS. Reports show that Zinc-bromine (ZnBr) RFB is the best choice in ESS. Simple electrical ZnBr RFB model is obtained from charging test. DC-DC converter Inductor current-DClink Voltage model is proposed for the DC microgrid. For the controller design in z-domain, the K-factor method is by considering nature of the digital controller. The control performance has been verified with simulation and hardware experiments. Lastly 10kW DC microgrid using RFB test result is shown.

조선전기 당(堂)·실(室) 결합 건축의 가구특성 분석 -방형 평면의 맞배직교형 지붕 가구를 중심으로- (A Study on the Structure of Combined Architecture of Dang and Sil in the Early Joseon Dynasty -Focusing on the Rectangular Plan and the Gable Roof Meeting at Right Angle-)

  • This study investigates how the spatial recognition structure is emerging through the case of rectangular plan combined with a combination of Dang-Sil(堂室) and Gong(工) shape roof, and identifies a type of architecture in the early Joseon Dynasty that has never been revealed. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, the Dang and the Sil are connected to each other, but the architectural elements such as pillars, frame, and windows are distinguished and appear as separate buildings. Second, the distinction between Dang and Sil is evident by the difference in the number of ridges and the shape of the roof. In addition, the roof and roof framework of the independent rooms and the rooms were common in the right angled architecture where the direction and the expandability of each structure were maintained. Third, the construction of the Dang-Sil combined structure, in which two or more structure frameworks were combined with the rectangular combined flat roof structure, gradually changed into a single structure with a single ridge. Fourth, this change means that people of the early Joseon Dynasty recognized the Dang and Sil as separate architecture, but the strict sense of spatial separation has disappeared over time.

JTDLS 완성형 체계를 위한 항공기 내장형 안테나 설계 (Aircraft Embedded Antenna Design for JTDLS Complete System)

  • 본 논문에서는 JTDLS 완성형 항공기에 장착하기 위한 내장형 안테나 설계 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 제안된 안테나는 MIDS-LVT 운용 대역을 충족하고, 확장성을 고려하여 광대역으로 설계하였다. 설계결과, 제안된 안테나는 기존 블레이드 안테나와 전기적 성능은 유사하고, 광대역 특성임을 확인하였다. 항공기 장착성을 확인하기 위해 항공기 상/하부에 안테나를 장착하여 EM 분석한 결과, 상/하부 모두 양호한 복사특성을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 획득한 기술은 JTDLS 완성형 항공기에 활용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
