  • This paper briefly outline the approach we are now setting for improving the existing global ocean tidal charts in next few years. 조세왜곡과 오염배출기업의 최적조세에 관한 고찰 (A Second - Best Environmental Taxation for Polluting Firms with Distortionary Taxes)

  • Environmental taxes tend to compound the welfare cost of pre-existing tax distortions, the tax-interaction effect, however they also raise government revenues, tax revenue-recycling effect. By incorporating these two opposite tax effects, this paper examines a second- best environmental taxation for a polluting monopolist with distortionary taxes. The analysis suggests that the complications posed by pre-existing tax distortions as well as market structure can be key considerations in designing environmental taxes. In the tax setting game between regulator and regulated firm, we also derive the equilibrium tax rate and examine its relationship with distortionary taxes.

당분류의 초지연제를 이용한 콘크리트의 응결 및 역학적 특성 (Setting md Mechanical Properties of Concrete Using Saccharic Type Super Retarding Agent)

  • 본 연구에서는 당분류의 초지연제를 중심으로 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 유동성, 공기량, 응결특성 및 경화 콘크리트의 강도특성을 분석하였다. 실험결과 먼저, 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 슬럼프 값은 초지연제의 혼입률이 증가함에 따라 다소 증가하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 공기량은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 응결특성으로는 혼입률이 증가함에 따라 응결시간이 비약적으로 지연되어 혼입률 0.3%에서 글루콘산은 10일 이상, 슈크로스, 백설탕 및 황설탕은 10일 이상에서 종결이 측정되었다. 또한, 종결이후 압축강도는 초지연제 혼입시 초기강도는 플레인에 비해 낮게 측정되었지만 3일 재령 이후에서는 플레인과 동등하거나 그 이상으로 나타났다. 종합적으로 당분류의 백설탕은 가격이 저렴하면서도 응결지연 특성 및 강도특성에서 여타의 초지연제에 비해 커다란 문제점이 없는 것으로 분석되어, 향후 내구성 등 제반특성이 심도 있게 검토된다면 우수한 초지연제로서의 활용가능성을 확인 할 수 있었다.

Impossible Differential Cryptanalysis on ESF Algorithm with Simplified MILP Model

  • MILP-based automatic search is the most common method in analyzing the security of cryptographic algorithms. However, this method brings many issues such as low efficiency due to the large size of the model, and the difficulty in finding the contradiction of the impossible differential distinguisher. To analyze the security of ESF algorithm, this paper introduces a simplified MILP-based search model of the differential distinguisher by reducing constrains of XOR and S-box operations, and variables by combining cyclic shift with its adjacent operations. Also, a new method to find contradictions of the impossible differential distinguisher is proposed by introducing temporary variables, which can avoid wrong and miss selection of contradictions. Based on a 9-round impossible differential distinguisher, 15-round attack of ESF can be achieved by extending forward and backward 3-round in single-key setting. Compared with existing results, the exact lower bound of differential active S-boxes in single-key setting for 10-round ESF are improved. Also, 2108 9-round impossible differential distinguishers in single-key setting and 14 12-round impossible differential distinguishers in related-key setting are obtained. Especially, the round of the discovered impossible differential distinguisher in related-key setting is the highest, and compared with the previous results, this attack achieves the highest round number in single-key setting.

세수 재순환과 토지이용-교통모형을 이용한 혼잡통행료 분석방법론 (Analysis of Congestion Tolls Using the Land Use-Transportation Model When Toll Revenues Are Recycled)

  • 지금까지 토지이용-교통모형은 전적으로 수치해석적 분석도구로만 이용되어 왔는데, 최근 이론개발 노력의 결과 정책변수에 대한 후생함수의 1계 도함수 간편식을 구할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문은 혼잡통행료가 소득세 경감을 통해 재순환될 때 혼잡통행료의 변화에 대한 후생함수의 도함수를 어떻게 유도할 수 있는지 보여준다. 분석결과 혼잡통행료의 부과가 가져오는 후생변화분을 (1)혼잡의 완화로 인한 후생증가분과 (2)노동공급과의 상호작용에서 발생하는 후생손실로 분해할 수 있다. 이 결과는 기존의 연구결과와 일치한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the resource value of existing mud flats in JANGWHARI, KANGWHADO, as strategies for ecotourism. The research methods used in this study are Limits of Acceptable Change(LAC), and Recreation Opportunity Spectrum(ROS). The LAC process draws attention to the existing area conditions that are judged to be acceptable. Managers must define desired area conditions and undertake actions to maintain or achieve these conditions. The ROS is within each of the recreation opportunity classes identified as being used at the regional level. The Results of this study are as follows: 1) The Opportunity Class of the ROS is ecological, physical, social, managerial setting as primitive, semi-primitive. non-motorized, semi-primitive$.$motorized, and roaded natural. 2) The indicator of the LAC is ecological, physical, social, and managerial setting; the indicator of ecological is wildlife populations, water quality, road paving; the indicator of physical is facilities; the indicator of social is visitor needs for knowledge, adventure, eco-experience, and environmental education programs; and, the indicator of managerial is limits of law, and degree of management. 3) Currently, the Opportunity Class of the ROS of JANGWHARI, KANGWHADO is levels II-III, and the Opportunity Class of the suggested ROS is levels I-II. 4) This paper describes strategies for mud flat area management: detection of water quality, resolving problems of equipment, supply of both environmental education programs and guide equipment.

An Automatic Portscan Detection System with Adaptive Threshold Setting

  • For the purpose of compromising hosts, attackers including infected hosts initially perform a portscan using IP addresses in order to find vulnerable hosts. Considerable research related to portscan detection has been done and many algorithms have been proposed and implemented in the network intrusion detection system (NIDS). In order to distinguish portscanners from remote hosts, most portscan detection algorithms use a fixed threshold that is manually managed by the network manager. Because the threshold is a constant, even though the network environment or the characteristics of traffic can change, many false positives and false negatives are generated by NIDS. This reduces the efficiency of NIDS and imposes a high processing burden on a network management system (NMS). In this paper, in order to address this problem, we propose an automatic portscan detection system using an fast increase slow decrease (FISD) scheme, that will automatically and adaptively set the threshold based on statistical data for traffic during prior time periods. In particular, we focus on reducing false positives rather than false negatives, while the threshold is adaptively set within a range between minimum and maximum values. We also propose a new portscan detection algorithm, rate of increase in the number of failed connection request (RINF), which is much more suitable for our system and shows better performance than other existing algorithms. In terms of the implementation, we compare our scheme with other two simple threshold estimation methods for an adaptive threshold setting scheme. Also, we compare our detection algorithm with other three existing approaches for portscan detection using a real traffic trace. In summary, we show that FISD results in less false positives than other schemes and RINF can fast and accurately detect portscanners. We also show that the proposed system, including our scheme and algorithm, provides good performance in terms of the rate of false positives.

개량형 C12A7계 광물계 급결제를 사용한 숏크리트의 장기강도 평가 (Long-term strength of shotcrete with improved C12A7 based mineral accelerator)

  • 본 연구에서는 숏크리트의 품질을 안정적으로 만들기 위해 초기 및 장기강도성능을 향상시킨 개량형$C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제의 성능 평가를 실시하였다. 개량형 $C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제는 기존 급결제들이 가지고 있는 장기강도 저하를 극복하고자 개발되었다. 개량형 $C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제의 혼입량에 따른 성능을 평가하기 위해 실내에서 응결시간, 압축강도 및 휨강도를 실시하였다. 실험결과 응결시간은 개량형 $C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제를 6%이상 사용하였을 때 기존 $C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제에 비해 초결은 느리지만 종결은 빠르게 나타났다. 압축강도 및 휨강도는 기존의 $C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제가 초기재령 3시간, 1일에서는 높게 나타났지만 7일 이후로 갈수록 개량형 $C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제를 사용한 숏크리트의 강도가 증가하였다. 또한 실내실험에서 도출된 최적혼입률을 적용하여 현장 적용성을 평가하였다. 현장실험으로는 리바운드, 압축강도 및 휨강도를 실시하였다. 현장실험 결과 실내실험과 같이 개량형 $C_{12}A_7$계 광물계 급결제를 사용한 숏크리트의 장기강도성능이 우수하게 나타났다.

문항출제와 문항분석이 가능한 웹기반 교육평가 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Web-Based Education-Evaluation System for Setting and Analyzing Questions)

  • WBI(Web Based Instruction)는 웹을 매체로 활용하여 원거리에 있는 학습자를 교육시키는 형태로서 교수자와 학습자간 상호작용을 가능하게 하고, 다양한 형태의 학습자료를 제공하며, 공간적 제약을 극복할 수 있다는 장점이 있다 본 논문은 웹에 기반한 교육적 활용의 한 모델로서 웹기반 교육평가시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. 웹기반 교육평가시스템은 기존 시스템들의 문제점이 되고 있는 문제출제 기능의 미비점을 해결하여 웹 상에서 문제를 출제할 수 있는 온라인 출제방식과 오프라인에서 작성한 문제를 업로드하여 재사용하는 업로드 출제방식을 모두 갖추어야한다. 또한 문항분석 기능을 갖추어 학생이 풀이한 결과에 대한 각종 분석 지표를 제공하여 교사는 난이도 조정이나 문항의 수정을 통하여 문항에 피드백을 할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 요구사항을 모두 반영하는 시스템을 설계하고 PHP 스크립트 언어와 호환성이 좋은 MySQL데이터베이스를 이용하여 구현하였다.

해외 단독주택의 지속가능성 평가도구 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis on Sustainability Assessment Tools for Overseas Single Detached Houses)

  • As climate change and environmental degradation become more evident, the public's concern and knowledge on sustainable development requires planners to have regards to social impacts and long term economic viability, as well as environmental impacts. The main objective of this study is to analyze existing sustainability assessment tools for single detached houses. The most widely used oversea tools are selected. From analysis on the existing assessment tools, "Impact Estimator" by Athena Institute, "Bees 4.0" by NIST, "CASBEE for Home" by JSBC, "Envest for Housing" by Energy Saving Trust, "LISA" by Center for Sustainable Technology, "SBTool" by iiSBE (International Initiative for Sustainable Built Environment), it can be seen that the current sustainability assessment programs are in need of much improvement. The selected programs are analyzed on scope of program setting & running, data input & output, assessment categories, and strength & weakness. This study is to supplement the existing sustainability assessment tools for single detached houses, and provide information for the development of web-based program to assist architects or home owners to plan sustainable houses in Korea in the schematic design stage.
