  • This study is the first step for ICT-based service model development for exhibition service innovation. To obtain the goal of this research, we derived the core problems of current exhibition industry service through previous literature, open-ended question and focus group interview. And then, we provided prioritization of twelve new services utilizing six assessment items(importance, duplication, urgency, ease of execution, prevalence, publicness) to derive policy priorities. We analyzed two portfolios that combination of four assessment items - importance/urgency and ease of execution/prevalence. Through surveying and analyzing the result, this paper serves that the priority facts are 'The work invisible barrier installation services', 'Exhibition history management and referral services', and 'Exhibit labels and descriptive text information service utilizing Augmented Reality'. In particular, 'The work invisible barrier installation services' is the most important service not only the assessment criterion of duplication and publicness but also overall measurement score points.

  • This study aimed to look into a comparison of the demographical characteristics concerning behavior toward the consumption of and satisfaction with Korean foods, and intention to repurchase Korean foods by identifying the food-related lifestyles of Korean consumers. As a result of research, food-related lifestyle was divided into five dimensions, namely the pursuit of health, convenience, safety, economic efficiency, and the pursuit of taste factors. Consumers' food-related lifestyles were confirmed to exhibit a significant difference according to demographic characteristics, such as gender, residential area, age, occupation, educational background, and income, and to the characteristics of their consumption behavior of Korean foods. In detail, the food-related lifestyles of consumers in their twenties showed a higher tendency for convenience and the pursuit of taste factors, and consumers in their forties or over were likely to pursue both economic efficiency and taste factors at the same time. Overall, the pursuit of safety was discovered as being the highest tendency. Also, the food-related lifestyle that most significantly affected satisfaction with Korean foods appeared to be health and the pursuit of taste factors, and satisfaction were found to have a significant effect on the intention to revisit.

  • A level-set finite-element method is employed to investigate the free surface flow of two conceptual fish passage designs. While one design has a right-angled entrance from the reservoir to the fish passage chute, the other has a curved-shaped entrance. The numerical results are validated with hydraulic experiments through comparison of the free surface location and the pressure distribution in the spillway. It is observed that the right-angled design yields a curved free surface and pressure distribution in the vicinity of the entrance due to large strains, whereas the curved-shaped design yields a smooth flow transition with small strains. The subatmospheirc pressure distributions near the spillway ogee crest for both designs exhibit similar flow patterns. It is concluded that the curved-shaped design is more favorable for fish passage because of the feature of a smooth flow transition with small strains.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the mediation effects of deficiency on executive function for male adolescents' game addiction and aggression. For this study, 120 male high school students in Chungnam areas were included in the analysis. The results showed that game addiction showed significant correlations with both deficiency on executive function and aggression. Adolescents addicted to games tended to exhibit higher aggression and more deficiency on executive function than adolescents without game addiction. Deficiency on executive function (mediator) partially mediated the influence of the adolescents' game addiction (independent variable) on aggression (dependent variable). Based on these results, it was suggested that self-instructional training would be helpful for game-addicted adolescents to enhance self-control. Finally, limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

  • Protein interaction network contains a small number of highly connected protein, denoted hub and many destitutely connected proteins. Recently, several studies described that a hub protein is more likely to be essential than a non-hub protein. This phenomenon called as a centrality-lethality rule. This nile is widely credited to exhibit the importance of hub proteins in the complex network and the significance of network architecture as well. To confirm whether the rule is accurate, we Investigated all protein interaction DBs of yeast in the public sites such as Uetz, Ito, MIPS, DIP, SGB, and BioGRID. Interestingly, the protein network shows that the rule is correct in lower scale DBs (e.g., Uetz, Ito, and DIP) but is not correct in higher scale DBs (e.g., SGD and BioGRID). We are now analyzing the features of networks obtained from the SGD and BioGRD and comparing those of network from the DIP.

  • This study investigates the characteristics of ridge-end tiles excavated from temple sites in Sabi Baekje. Analyses were carried out to evaluate the chemical and mineralogical compositions of the excavated samples. All the samples except one from the Gunsu-ri temple exhibit a similar element distribution pattern in rare earth element contents. However, major and trace element contents differ because the mixing method used in each sample depends on the type of ridge-end tile. The mineral components of the tiles were grouped into three types, irrespective of the excavated areas. Group 2 and 3 were probably developed in high-temperature fires in comparison with Group 1; this is verified by the Fe2O3 content of more than 5 wt% in these samples. In conclusion, the raw materials utilized in each ridge-end tile are prone to have changed according to the time of use of the tile, regardless of the excavated site.

  • Recently, there has been continued research on UCP from the development effort estimation method to a software development project applying object oriented development methodology. Current research proposes a linear model estimating the developmenteffort by multiplying a constant to AUCP which applies technical and environmental factors. However, the fact that a non-linear regression model is more appropriate as the software size increases, the development period increases exponentially. In addition, in the UCP calculation process the occurrence of FP errors due to the application of TCF and EF, it is unrealistic to estimate the size with AUCP. This paper presents the issue of current research based on UCP without considering problems of the research, for example, TCF and EF and expresses the models (linear, logarithmic, polynomial, power and exponential type) estimating the development effort directly from UUCP. Consequently, the exponential model within non-linear models exhibit more accurate results than the current linear model. Therefore, after calculating the UUCP of the developing software system, using the proposed model to estimate the development effort, it is possible to estimate the direct cost required in development.

  • This research examined whether there are differences in group decision making between senior leader groups and junior leader groups. Results revealed that senior leaders contributed more during the discussion than junior leaders, and groups with senior leaders performed better than the groups with junior leaders. In post-discussion activities group members noted that senior leaders were able to represent their groups better, and showed better leadership during discussion. On the other hand, the leader's age impacted differently depending on leader selection methods. For senior leaders, leaders randomly assigned were perceived to be more beneficial to groups. However for junior leaders, leaders systematically selected were perceived to represent their groups better and exhibit better leadership. The interaction between leader's age and leader selection seems to arise from a difference of leader's power bases.

  • In this study, changes in the composition of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) were investigated using water samples collected at a downstream site of the Namhan River near the Lake Paldang ($N37^{\circ}24^{\prime}05.33^{{\prime}{\prime}}E127^{\circ}32^{\prime}25.01^{{\prime}{\prime}}$) during a heavy rain event from July 23 to July 28, 2008. The DOC concentrations varied from 1.68 to 3.18 mg/L with the maxium value at a peak of the river water level. Each DOC sample was fractionated into three compositions including hydrophilic (Hi), hydrophobic acid (HoA) and hydrophobic neutral (HoN) fractions. The results showed that HoA was most abundant fractions, constituting 47.2~56.5% of DOC. Refractory dissolved organic carbon (R-DOC) contents were also determined by measuring the DOC concentration after 28-day dark incubation of the samples. R-DOC content was in the range from 83 to 99% of DOC and it was significantly correlated with HoA contents (r = 0.91, p<0.005), while it did not exhibit such a good correlation with the fractions of Hi and HoN (p>0.02). Our results suggest that the HoA, which is associated with humic substances, may be a major composition of refractory organic matters in rivers during storm events.

  • Recently, the rate of openness of public data has increased and related development is also increasing. As recent government policies have also focused on opening public data, the Public Data Index among OECD member nations has been ranked first for two consecutive years. However, despite the government's interest and active support, the post-start-up survival rate was the lowest among the OECD countries. The lowest survival rate was found to be the biggest failure factor for consumers to exhibit unwanted products. In this study, we analyze the desired parts of the consumers that are lacking in the start-up and propose the service of location analysis. In this process, we utilize data related to entrepreneurship among various public data supported by the government.
