  • In this study, a basic concept of wavelet encoding and its advantages over Fourier based phase encoding application. Wavelet encoding has been proposed as an alternative way to Fourier based phase encoding in magnetic resonance imaging. In wavelet encoding, the RF pulse is designed to generate wavelet-shaped excitation profile of spins. From the resulting echo signals, the wavelet transform coefficients of spin distribution are acquired and an original spin density is reconstructed from wavelet expansion. Wavelet encoding has several advantages over phase encoding. By minimizing redundancy of the data acquisition in a dynamic series of images, we can avoid some encoding steps without serious loss of quality in reconstructed image. This strategy may be regarded as data compression during imaging. Although there are some limitations in wavelet encoding, it is a promising scheme in a dynamic imaging.

  • The gear whine noise of vehicle transmission is directly correlated tilth the gear transmission error of mating gear The object of this study is to build up the synthesized countermeasure for the reduction of gear whine noire of vehicle transmission by developing the program which can be used to analyze and predict the vibrational characteristics caused by gear transmission error of mating gears of vehicle transmission. The developed mathematical models on the elements of transmission, for example, helical gear pairs, bearings and shafts are used and the modeling of the excitation forces are developed by the gear transmission error of mating gear which is defined by the amount of the elastic deformation of gear tooth & shaft and gear profile & lead errors. The mathematical system model of vehicle transmission developed by the substructure synthesis method Is also verified by the experiments.

  • A new high efficiency and low profile on-board DC/DC converter for digital car audio amplifier is proposed. The proposed converter shows the continuous input current, no DC excitation current of the transformer, the minimized electro-magnetic interference (EMI), no output inductor, and the low voltage stress of the secondary rectifier diodes. The 60W industrial sample of the proposed converter is implemented for digital car audio amplifier and the measured efficiency is $88.3\%$ at nominal input voltage.

  • A molecular photodiode was fabricated with hetero-Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film consisting of an electron accepter(A) and sensitizer. N-Allyl-N-[3-propylamido-N\",N\"-야(n-octadecyl)]-4,4-bipyridum Dibromide and 7,8-dimethyl-10-dodecyl isoalloxan-zine were used as A and S units, respectively. By aligning hefter-LB film of A/S units on ITO glass with an aluminium thin film, a molecular photodiode with the structure of Metal/Insulator/Metal(MIM) was constructed. Due to excitation by irradiation with a 460nm monochromatic light source, the photo-induced unidirectional flow of electrons in the MIM device could be achieved and was detected as photocurrents. The direction of energy flow was in accordance with the energy level profile across the LB films. The photo switching function was achieved and the rectifying characteristics was obserbed in the molecular devise.

  • In this paper, We applied the $\mu$-stepping method on the Phase Excitation Sequence of Hybrid type LPM. Linear Pulse Motor can opeate in an open loop control as an effective positioning actuator. PWM driver was used for low power loss and automatically adjusted voltage at rate current. Finally we find that through the position-velocity for timing Triangular and Trapezoidal Profile are very affected by velocity and acceleration parameter.

  • This paper presents a study on the system identification of the in-situ output shaft torque measurement system using a non-contacting magneto-elastic torque transducer installed in a vehicle drivline. The frequency response (transfer) function (FRF) analysis is conducted to interpret the dynamic interaction between the output shaft torque and road side excitation due to the road roughness. In order to identify the frequency response function of vehicle driveline system, two power spectral density (PSD) functions of two random signals: the road roughness profile synthesized from the road roughness index equation and the stationary noise torque extracted from the original torque signal, are first estimated. System identification results show that the output torque signal can be affected by the dynamic characteristics of vehicle driveline systems, as well as the road roughness.

  • The gear whine noise caused by tooth profile, elastic deformation, machining error, wear is directly correlated with the transmission error of mating gear. It is very important to build up the synthesized countermeasure by the modeling of the excitation forces and analyzing the vibratory characteristics. The mathematical models on the elements of vehicle transmission which is composed of helical gears, bearings, shafts and cases are developed. The elements are assembled by the substructure synthesis method. The cases of transmission are modeled by ANSYS. The system model of vehicle transmission is also verified by the experiments.

  • An experimental study has been conducted to investigate the effects of forcing amplitude on the tone-excited non-premixed jet flame of the resonance frequency. Visualization techniques are employed using the laser optic systems, which are RMS tomography, PLIF and PIV system. There are three lift-off histories according to the fuel flow rates and forcing amplitudes; the regime I always has the flame base feature like turbulent flame when the flame lift-off, while the flame easily lift-off in the regime II even if a slight forcing amplitude applied. The other is a transient regime and occurs between the regime I and regime II, which has the flame base like the bunsen flame of partial premixed flame. In the regime I and II, the characteristics of the mixing and velocity profile according to the forcing phase were investigated by the acetone PLIF, PIV system. Particular understanding is focused on the distinction of lift-off history in the regime I and II.

  • We have examined Raman spectra of cis-peptide model complex, diketopiperazine in water and $D_2O$ with 320 nm through 218 nm excitation. Our study examines assignment of the resonance enhanced amide vibrations and characterizes their enhancement mechanism. Three resonance enhaned cis-peptide marker bands were observed in aqueous solution at 1676, 1533 and $806cm^{-1}$, which were assigned to the cis-amide I, II and S band, respectively. The $1533cm^{-1}$ amide II band, which is almost pure C-N stretching, was most dominant in water and shifted to $1520cm^{-1}$ upon N-deuteration. This band will be probably a potential probe band for cis-peptide moieties in proteins. The excitation profile data and an Albrecht A-term fit indicated that the cis-peptide vibrations derive their intensities from the 188 nm cis-peptide ${\pi}-{\pi}^*$ electronic transition. We Propose that the geometry of cis-peptide ${\pi}^*$ excited state is C-N bond displacement relative to that of electronic ground state.

MS, SGB와 RGB는 큰 변화가 없었으나, HB에서는 많은 변화를 나타내었다. 193919 S02401193919 ^x We have observed the emission of HC3N J= 4-3, 5-4 10-9 and 12-11 transitions toward the Sgr B2 central region in an area of 150"XISO" with resolutions of16"-48". The intensities and central velocities of line profiles show significant variations with positions. In contrast to the in tensities of the low J-level transitions which gradually increase from the central source toward the outside region the HC3N emission of the high J-level transition become stronger toward the central radio continuum source MO5. Systematic chainge in the radial velocity of each line profile occurs along north-south direction there are a few peaks in most line profiles, and these indicate that there not multiple velocity components along the line of sight. Distributions of excitation temperah at and column density which were estimated from the excitation calculations show the existence of a small(IxEpc),hot(Tex> SOK) core which contains two tempegatlue peaks at -15" east and north of MDS. The column density of HCaN is (1-3):n1014cm-2. Column density at distant position from MD5 is larger than that in the (:entral region. We have deduced that this hot-core has a mass of 10sR1 which i:s about an order of magnitude larger those obtained by previous studies.previous studies.
