전통 약물의 국제 교류에 관한 소고(小考) (A Study on International Exchange of Traditional Herb Medicine)

  • Traditional medicine has been exchanged constantly from prehistoric times up to the present. As the global market trade on traditional medicine increases, people now emphasized the importance of traditional medicine. Previously, knowledge about herbal medicines are taught or learned indirectly. Most of it was learned through medical books. But in these contemporary times, herbal medicine's knowledge is shared through journals, congress and some other events in where traditional medicine's information are shared. In the international congress gathering; traditional medicine's experts from many countries shared some additional knowledge. First, "an attitude to medicine that emphasizes on Naturalism". Second, "respect for experienced in traditional medicine". Third, "respect for locality on traditional medicine". Fourth, "a protection for domestic traditional medicine industry" Fifth, "acceptance of traditional medicine from other countries according to domestic health care system".

  • Saccharomycopsis lipolytica ATCC 44601 과 MX9-11RX8 온도감수성 변이균주의 isocitrate lyase는 조추출액을 ammonium sulfate 분획, Toyo Peal HW-55F gel filtration, DEAE-Cellulose ion exchange chromatography 등의 방법에 의하여 각각 54배, 87배 분리 정제되었다. 정제효소의 subunit 분자량은 59,000이고 Sephadex G-200 gel filtration에 의한 native enzyme 은 230,000이므로 이 효모의 isocitrate lyase는 같거나 비슷한 subunit 4개로 구성된 tetramer이며, 최적 pH는 6.9이었다.

  • The separation and species of $MoO_4^{--}$ and $WO_4^{--}$ at the various PH value have been studied by the method of cation exchange chromatography. Elution curves of $MoO_4^{--}$ and $WO_4^{--}$ have been made with a 5 cm column of the resin, $Dowe{\times}50W{\times}12$(100-200 mesh), using solutions of various PH value as eluent. Complete separation of $MoO_4^{--}$ and $WO_4^{--}$ was obtained in each PH of 10% EtOH. According to the evaluation of peak position and number of peaks of elution curves, it is likely to exist cationic species of $MoO_4^{--}$.

  • Increasing the need of national safety management system in order to an epoch-making improvement to scientific disaster management which appears new types of disasters through the exchange of traditional disaster environment and responds actively to the rapid exchange of social environment based on u-IT. Requiring the development of systematical information sharing networking system and sharing realtime data amongst government, local authorities and related organisations under both safety management in normal times and circumstance management in disaster times, and need for the establishment of national safety strategy, which has been strengthened function such as prevention and preparation. This research provides a basic scheme and strategic tasks in order to constitute preventing scientific national disaster prevention structure at anytime and anywhere from disaster which is based on ubiquitous technology and realise the intelligent national disaster prevention system of u-safe Korea.

Fractal Structure of the Stock Markets of Leading Asian Countries

  • In this study, we examined the fractal structure of the Nikkei225, HangSeng, Shanghai Stock Exchange and Straits Times Index of Singapore. Empirical analysis was performed via non-parametric, semi-parametric long memory tests and also fractal dimension calculations. In order to avoid spurious long memory features, besides the Detrended Fluctuations Analysis (DFA), we also used Smith's (2005) modified GPH method. As for fractal dimension calculations, they were conducted via Box-Counting and Variation (p=1) tests. According to the results, while there is no long memory property in log returns of any index, we found evidence for long memory properties in the volatility of the HangSeng, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Straits Times Index. However, we could not find any sign of long memory in the volatility of Nikkei225 index using either the DFA or modified GPH test. Fractal dimension analysis also demonstrated that all raw index prices have fractal structure properties except for the Nikkei225 index. These findings showed that the Nikkei225 index has the most efficient market properties among these markets.

아미노산 분석기에 의한 제제중 Taurine의 분리 정량에 관한 연구 (Determination of Taurine in Preparations by Amino Acid Autoanalyzer)

  • High performance amino acid analyzing method has been developed for the routine analysis of taurine in preparations. Ion-exchange resin #2619 Hitachi Custom Ion-Exchange Resin, $2.6(I.D.){\times}150$(length)mm was used as column, buffer I, pH 3.3 as mobile phase. The retention time of taurine was 7 minutes. Calibration curve by peak height for standard taurine was linear from 2.5ppm to 25ppm. The reproducibility showed relative standard deviation $\pm$1.9% when analyzed 10 times for standard solution. The samples could be continuously analyzed without regenerating the resin between samples. Five samples were applied to column every 12 min. and then the resin was regenerated for 30 min. during one analyzing cycle time, 90 min. The automatic amino acid analyzer has made it possible to assay multiple samples in a relatively short period of time using the analytical magnetic program card. The high sensitivity and specificity of the analytical column of the automatic amino acid analyzer permits the routine analysis of taurine in preparations.

안성천 수계 국가하천구간 하상 수리전도도 측정 시험 (Measurement of Streambed Hydraulic Conductivity in Stream Sections in the Anseongcheon Watershed, Korea)

  • 안성천 수계 하류부 국가하천구간내 15개 지점에 대해 하상퇴적층의 수리전도도 측정 시험을 수행하였다. 각 지점별로 하상퇴적층에 시피지미터와 피조미터를 설치하여 하천수-지하수 상호교환량과 수리경사를 측정하고 이를 Darcy 공식에 대입하여 연직방향 수리전도도를 산정하였다. 하천수-지하수 교환량은 $4.08{\times}10^{-6}{\sim}1.49{\times}10^{-5}m/s$, 연직방향 수리경사는 0.005에서 0.145로 측정되었고, 하상수리전도도는 $7.80{\times}10^{-5}{\sim}1.58{\times}10^{-3}m/s$로 산정되어 하천구간별, 지점별로 하천과 대수층간에 연결성의 큰 차이를 나타내었다. 하천과 대수층간의 수리적 상호연결성을 정량적으로 파악하고 지하수개발 이용이 하천수량에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해서는 하상퇴적층 수리전도도와 같이 하천과 대수층간 연결부의 수리지질학적 조사가 필요하며, 현장시험 및 분석 방법에 대한 기술적 향상이 이뤄져야 할 것이다.

  • The Real-time Distributed Control Systems(RDCS) consist of several distributed control processes which share a network medium to exchange their data. Performance of feedback control loops in the RDCS is subject to the network-induced delays from sensor to controller and from controller to actuator. The network-induced delays are directly dependent upon the data sampling times of the control components which share a network medium. In this study, a scheduling algorithm of determining data sampling times is developed using the window concept, where the sampling data from the control components dynamically share a limited number of windows.

Characteristics of Chitosanase from Aspergillus fumigatus KB-1

  • Two chitosanses produced by Aspergillus fumigatus KB-1 were purified by ion exchange and size exclusion chromatographies. Molecular weights of chitosanses were 111.23 KDa (chitosanase I) and 23.38 KDa (chitosanase II). The N-terminal amino acid sequence of chitosanase II was determined: YNLPNNLKQIYDKHKGKXSXVLAK(\ulcorner)GFTN. The optimum pH of the chitosanase I and II were 6.5 and 5.5 respectively. The optimum temperatures were $60^\times$C and $70^\times$. Two chitosanases were most stable at $10^\times$C. (omitted)

QFD 기법을 이용한 특정 유해가스 노출제어 이온선택성 보호복 소재개발연구 (Study of Development of Selective Removal Adsorption Ion Exchange Resin Materials for Fabricated with Chemical-biological Cloth by QFD)

  • Purpose: Through studying the expert's and non-experts panel responses to the questions regarding the attributes of chemical-biological protection cloth quality in terms of the levels of customer demand and technical factors has been studied. We are applied to a QFD matrix with find out the relationship between the selective removal efficiency of chemical-biological cloth and the guidelines of technical approach. Methods: We fabricated several composite of ion-exchange resins with selectively permeable performance designed to facilities water vapor transport and selective adsorption of the harmful gases. With these materials, we characterized on the selectively permeable performance to identify ion-exchange resin with chemical-biological protective cloth. Results: Results showed that ion exchange materials possessed performance with selectively efficiencies as NH3, SOx, NOx and HCl gas. The selective adsorption amount of ammonia and hydrogen gases were $90-80{\mu}g/g$ with TRILITE SCR-BH sulfonated ion exchange resin. The PP non-woven/ion exchange resin adsorbent materials possessed performance with water vapor permeability were 1,100-1,350 g/m2/day, it's was two times high value compare with activated carbon. With these materials, we characterized selectively removal efficiency to identify new ion-exchange material with chemical-biological protective capability. Conclusion: This study shows that a QFD aids in deciding with of the adsorption parameters to optimized with chemical-biological protection cloth manufacturing.
