  • Need developments of substitute energy to solve problem of global warming by excess use of fossil energy, excess discharge of carbon dioxide. wind power generation system is all-important energy in next generation as clean energy. Environmental pollution of wind power generation system is not exhausted entirely. And, electric-power generation system cost is cheap than other energy. Wind Generation system that is supplied much present is most horizontality style blade structure. But, Horizontal style structure is serious noise and there is problem in stability of blade. We designed special blade solve to this problem. And, manufactured vertical axis wind power generation system because using blade. Also, developed assistance power generator to increase driving efficiency ago wind power generation. We expect this devices that is such cover shortcoming of wind power generation system.

  • Spatial(radial and height) distributions of excited argon species are measured for an inductively coupled plasma under five operating conditions: 1) no carrier gas, 2) carrier gas without aerosol, 3) carrier gas with desolvated aerosol, 4) carrier gas with aerosol, 5) carrier gas with aerosol and excess lithium. A complete RF power mapping of argon excited states is obtained. The excited states of argon for a typical analytical torch rapidly diffuse towards the center in the higher region of the plasma. The presence of excess lithium makes no significant change in the excited states of argon. The increase in the RF power increases the intensity of argon excited states uniformly across the radial coordinate.

  • In this work, transient characteristics of NPT(Non Punch Through)-IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) have been studied with different temperatures analytically. Power losses are caused by heat generated in MIT-IGBT for steady state and transient state conditions. We therefore have focused on the analysis of excess carrier concentration and excess charge injected into N-drift layer with different temperatures and have obtained anode voltage drop during turn-off with lifetime of 2.4[${\mu}$s].

  • This paper describes about the spread specturm radio wave propagation characteristics in urban microcells. The experiments are carried out with respect to the mean excess delay, the RMS delay spread, and the received maximum peak power in the two kinds of geogrphical areas, LOS area and N-LOS area, especially whose variations are observed while varying the transmission distance and tilting the transmitting antenna. The typical results obtained in pariticular urban sites in Seoul are 300-600 nsec of mean excess delay and about 75 nsec of averaged RMS delay spread for LOS area, and 270-280 nsec of mean excess delay and about 100 nsec for N-LOS area. With the transmitting antenna gilted, obsered in the experiments are increase in RMS delay spread as expected, but increase of the received power at N-LOS areas in particular.

  • Despite the well-known predictive power of Dirichlet model on customer loyalty, deviations of share of category requirement (SCR) predicted by Dirichlet model from actual SCR have been repeatedly reported. It has been shown that these deviations can be systematically explained by some factors such as brand's market share, product positioning strategy, purchase volume and retail marketing mix strategies. Presuming that brand equity would be additional sources of these deviations, current study assesses the incremental predictive power of brand equity by using over 4,000 brand-level observations for the consumer packaged goods industry in the U.S. Our model estimations indicate that brands that exhibit higher brand equity enjoy excess loyalty, with the primary driver being volume premium, rather than price premium. Overall, our findings support the notion that idiosyncratic brand properties can explain excess behavioral loyalty, a notion that is in stark contrast with the Dirichlet view of the world: brand equity does not exist.

  • In this paper, a total stress analysis method for gravity quay walls is suggested. The method can evaluate the displacement of the quay walls considering the effect of excess pore pressure developed in backfill soils. This method changes the stiffness of backfill soils according to the expected magnitude of the excess pore pressure. For practical application, evaluation methods are suggested for determining the excess pore pressure ratio developed in the backfill soils and the backfill stiffness that corresponds to the excess pore pressure ratio. This method is important in practical applications because the displacement of the quay walls can be evaluated by using only the basic input properties in the total stress analysis. The applicability of the suggested method was verified by comparing the results of the analysis with the results of 1-g shaking table tests. From the comparison, it was found that the calculated displacements from the suggested method showed good agreement with the measured displacements of the quay walls. It was also found that the excess pore pressure in backfill soils is a governing influence on the dynamic behavior of quay walls.

  • The output power efficiency of the fuel cell system depends on the demanded current, stack temperature, air excess ratio, hydrogen excess ratio and inlet air humidity. Thus, it is necessary to determine the optimal operation condition for maximum power efficiency. In this paper, we developed a dynamic model of fuel cell system which contains mass flow model, diffusivity gas layer model, membrane hydration and electrochemistry model. In order to determine the maximum output power and minimum use of hydrogen in a certain power condition, response surface methodology (RSM) optimization based on the proposed PEMFC stack model is presented. The results provide an effective method to optimize the operation condition under varied situations.

  • ZnO thin films were grown on a sapphire substrate by RF magnetron sputtering. The characteristics of the thin films were investigated by ellipsometry, X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), photoluminescence (PL), and Hall effect. The substrate temperature and growth time were kept constant at $200^{\circ}C$ at 30 minutes, respectively. The RF power was varied within the range of 200 to 500 W. ZnO thin films on sapphire substrate were grown with a preferred C-axis orientation along the (0002) plan; X-ray diffraction peak shifted to low angles and PL emission peak was red-shifted with increasing RF power. In addition, the electrical characteristics of the carrier density and mobility decreased and the resistivity increased. In the electrical and optical properties of ZnO thin films under variation of RF power, the crystallinity improved and the roughness increased with increasing RF power due to decreased oxygen vacancies and the presence of excess zinc above the optimal range of RF power. Consequently, the crystallinity of the ZnO thin films grown on sapphire substrate was improved with RF sputtering power; however, excess Zn resulted because of the structural, electrical, and optical properties of the ZnO thin films. Thus, excess RF power will act as a factor that degrades the device characteristics.

  • In this paper, we present an economical and practical standard to install a bypass diode in a thin-film PV module. This method helps to reduce heat generation and to prevent module degradation due to excess current from reverse bias. The experimental results confirm that for different numbers of solar cells, there is a relation between the excess reverse current and the degradation of solar cells in a-Si:H modules. The optimal number of solar cells that can be connected per bypass diode could be obtained through an analysis of the results to effectively suppress the degradation and to reduce the heat generated by the module. This technique could be expanded for use in high power crystalline Si PV modules.
