  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터로 정밀 계측기기을 자동 제어하고 데이터를 측정하기 위하여 기존의 상용 프로그램을 사용하지 않고 Excel VBA(Visual Basic for Applications)를 이용하는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 이는 반복측정 및 통계적 수치계산 등에서 많은 장점을 지니고 있어 수많은 국가교정기관 및 일반 산업체에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있으리라 사료된다.

  • 가중사례기반추론 알고리즘을 이용하여 Excel VBA 기반의 개략비용 예측시스템을 개발하였다. 개발 시스템의 특징은 사례학습과 신규추정시 학습사례건수와 신규추정건수 만큼의 시트를 자동생성하며, 각각의 시트는 셀수식이 자동으로 입력되어 시스템의 활용성을 고려하였으며, 또한 영향인자를 최대 10개까지 선택이 가능하도록 하여 영향인자의 조합을 자유롭게 구성할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발한 비용예측시스템을 토양경작법 정화비용예측에 이용하여 토양정화 예측모델의 적용가능성을 검토하였다. 평균단가 예측모델은 물론 최적다중회귀 예측모델보다 개선된 결과를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 토양경작법을 대상으로 검토 하였으나 토양정화기술과 오염물질 종류 등 다양한 시나리오가 나타나는 토양정화사업분야에 사례기반추론을 이용한 비용예측모델은 향후 사례데이터 축적과 더불어 적용가능성이 커질 것으로 기대된다

MS Excel 시뮬레이터(PKES)를 이용한 하수처리장 유출수 및 온실가스 모델링 (Modelling of effluent and GHGs for wastewater treatment plants using by MS Excel simulator(PKES))

  • This paper presents PKES(PuKyung -Excel based Simulator) for WWTPs(wastewater treatment plants) by using MS Excel and VBA(Visual Basic for Application). PKES is a user-friendly simulator for the design and optimization of the whole plant including biological and physico-chemical processes for the wastewater and sludge treatment. PKES calculates the performance under steady or dynamic state and allows changing the mathematical model by the user. Mathematical model implemented in PKES is a improved integration model based on ASM2d and ADM1 for simulation of AS(activated sludge) and AD(anaerobic digestion). Gaseous components of $N_2$, $N_2O$, $CO_2$ and $CH_4$ are added for estimation of GHGs(greenhouse gases) emission. The simulation results for comparison between PKES and Aquasim(EAWAG) showed about the same effluent concentrations. As a result of verification using by measured data of BOD, TSS, TN and TP for 2 years of operation, calculated effluent concentrations were similar to measured effluent concentrations. The values of average RMSE(root mean square error) were 1.9, 0.8, 1.6 and 0.2 mg/L for BOD, TSS, TN and TP, respectively. Total GHGs emission of WWTP calculated by PKES was 138.5 ton-$CO_2$/day and GHGs emissions of $N_2O$, $CO_2$ and $CH_4$ were calculated at 21.7, 28.9 and 87.9 ton-$CO_2$/day, respectively. GHGs emission of activated sludge was 32.5 % and that of anaerobic digestion was 67.5 %.

슬릿 케이슨의 BIM 모델링 자동화 시스템 개발 (Development of Automatic BIM Modeling System for Slit Caisson)

  • 최근 건설산업의 디지털화가 추진되면서 BIM(Building Information Modeling, 이하 BIM)은 필수기술로 자리매김하고 있으나, BIM 모델링에 대한 어려움으로 실무에 적극적으로 활용하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이는 고도의 전문성이 필요한 BIM 소프트웨어를 습득하기도 어려울 뿐만 아니라 대부분의 모델링 작업도 수작업으로 진행되므로 업무 생산성 확보가 어렵기 때문이다. 따라서 연구에서는 BIM기반 모델링의 생산성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 방안 및 시스템을 제시한다. 이를 위해 연구에서는 항만의 대표적인 구조물인 슬릿케이슨을 개발 대상으로 선정하고, 실무에서 사용할 수 있게 전문가 인터뷰를 통해 다양한 매개변수들을 도출하였다. 또한 다양하고, 복잡한 매개변수들의 효율적인 관리 및 운영을 위해 사용자 편의성을 고려한 UI구축 방안을 제시한다. 그리고 이를 기반으로 비주얼프로그래밍(Dynamo)과 Excel VBA(Visual Basic for Applications, 이하 VBA)를 활용하여 슬릿케이슨을 위한 BIM기반 설계 자동화 시스템을 개발하였다. 연구에서 개발한 시스템은 다수의 매개변수가 적용되어 다양한 설계조건에 적합한 슬릿 케이슨 모델을 신속히 생성할 수 있으므로 BIM기반 업무 생산성 향상에 기여할 수 있다.

ANSYS를 활용한 공작기계 직결주축 시스템의 1차원 유한요소해석 자동화 (Automation of One-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of a Direct-Connection Spindle System of Machine Tools Using ANSYS)

  • In this study, an analytical model was developed for one-dimensional finite element analysis (1D FEA) of a spindle system of machine tools and then implemented to automate the FEA as a tool. FEA, with its vibration characteristics such as natural frequencies and modes, was performed using the universal FEA software ANSYS. VBA of EXCEL was used to provide the programming environment for its implementation. This enabled graphic user interfaces (GUIs) to be developed to allow interactions of users with the tool and, in addition, an EXCEL spreadsheet to be linked with the tool for data arrangement. The language of ANSYS was used to develop a code to perform the FEA. It generates an analytical model of the spindle system based on the information at the GUIs and subsequently performs the FEA based on the model. Automation helps identify the near-optimal design of the spindle system with minimum time and efforts.

Bootstrap 기법을 이용한 BOD 평균 농도 및 신뢰구간 분석 (Analysis of BOD Mean Concentration and Confidence Interval using Bootstrap Technique)

  • It is very important to know mean and confidence interval of water-quality constituents such as BOD for water-quality control and management of rivers and reservoirs effectively. The mean and confidence interval of BOD at Anseong2 and Hwangguji3 sampling stations which are located at the border of local governments in Anseong Stream were estimated and analyzed in this paper using Bootstrap technique which is one of non-parametric statistics. The results of Bootstrap were compared with arithmetic mean, geometric mean, Biweight method mean as a point estimator and distribution mean came from the appropriate probability distribution of Log-normal. In Bootstrap technique 12 data set was randomly selected in each year and 1000 samples was produced to get parameter of population. Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) of Microsoft Excel was utilized in Bootstrap. It was revealed that the Bootstrap technique can be used to explain more rigorously and robustly the achievement or violation of BOD target concentration in Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL).

기어 부품의 검사시스템 개발에 관한 사례 (A Case Study on Developing a Checking System of Gear Parts)

  • Small sized companies have not been successful in systematically applying statistical process control because of insufficient human resources. In this paper we present a case study of automatic checking system for a small sized company which produces various types of gears. A systematic way of automatically measuring gears is proposed and statistical analysis methods are presented. To reduce variation in the measurement data, a standard operating procedure is also proposed. This case study can be helpful to quality assurance practitioners of small sized companies who are willing to develop checking or inspection systems for their products.

자동차 패널용 헤밍 금형설계를 위한 타이밍차트 자동생성 (Automatic Generation of Timing Chart for Car Panel Hemming Die Design)

  • The inner and outer car panels for bonnet, door, and trunk lid are assembled by hemming rather than welding. To achieve successful fabrication of these panels, the complicated timing chart of hemming units for pre-and main hemming stages should be made to optimal one. In this study, a design system for automatic timing chart generation is developed. Using AutoCAD VBA and EXCEL data chart, hemming die design parameters and guidelines were put into the program to give hemming unit drawings and consequent timing charts. Then the prepared timing charts were checked and modified. The effectiveness of the system is verified by applying it successfully to hemming unit design for bonnet panel joining.

  • Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a systematic and objective decision method that stratifies multiple criteria to determine various evaluation factors' order of priority. Since AHP requires several stages of analysis with complicated attributes, they normally rely on computer programs for the execution of such analyses. However, the existing AHP analytic tools carry the inconvenience of having to repeatedly input massive amounts data generated in every stage. This repetitious data entry process results in prolonged analysis times and higher possibility of errors, leading to decreased reliability of the results. Thus, in this study, we develop an analytic tool that effectively simplifies the data entry process in AHP analysis, for the purpose of reducing analysis times and increasing the reliability of the results.

자동차 릴레이스 위치 생산공정의 작업자수 선정을 위한 시뮬레이션 연구 (A Simulation Study on the Number of Operators of Automobile Relay Switch Production)

  • In this paper, a production process system simulation of the automobile relay switch manufacturing factory is studied. The status of the present production system is inspected first, and the modified model is simulated next. To inspect the effect of the process parameter change, a simulation program is developed using PROMODEL simulation software plus the EXCEL VBA and Active X Automation function. Using the developed simulation program, user can find the best production condition and alternatives on the production capacity, number of workers, and inspection status considering the defective ratio of the product. The feasibility of the new alternatives is compared with the present system using statistical method.
