This study empirically examines the relationship between technology licensing and licetnsee firms' profitability. A significant positive effect of licensing on profitability is generally demonstrated in both the short run and the long run. Further, the magnitude of positive effect is bigger in the long run than that in the short run. The paper suggest that, for firms, aggressive management strategy of collaborating with technology holders through licensing agreements is beneficial. It also argues that transferred technology requires time to be implemented, modified and mastered better by companies.

최근 XML(extensible Markup Language)의 장점에 대한 인식이 확산되면서 이를 이용한 응용들의 개발이 진행되고 있다. 웹의 지속적인 발전은 웹 사용자의 증가와 다양한 요구로 서버의 과부하 등 여러 가지 문제점을 낳고 있다. 기존의 웹 상에서 구현된 학습평가 시스템에서는 웹서버에서 DB를 연동한 클라이언트-서버 관계에서 클라이언트인 학습자는 웹브라우저를 이용해 학습하여 왔다. 본 논문에서는 XML을 이용한 실시간 학습 평가 시스템을 제안함으로 웹 상에서 DB 연동 없이 데이타를 처리함으로서 가상교육외 문제점이었던 학습자들의 대기시간과 교사의 과중한 업무부담을 해소하는데 효과가 있음을 보여줌으로써 XML의 장점을 확인한다.

고압방전등을 점등하기 위해서는 고전압의 시동전압이 필요하게 되는데, 이러한 시동전압은 고 압력의 나트륨램프에서도 필요하게 된다. 자기장은 전기 방전튜브에서 만들어지게 되며 증기 원자에 대한 전자충돌이 가속화되면서 2차 전자가 발생하고 전기 방전튜브에 전류가 급속도로 흐르게 되며, 나트륨램프의 제자회사마다 서로 다른 램프의 수명 및 교환시점도 서로 다르게 다는 것을 본 논문의 연구과정에서 발견하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 LabVIEW 소프트웨어패키지를 사용해서 발견한 내용을 나트륨램프의 수명진단의 알고리즘을 제안한다.

A Computer Aided Design (CAD) program of robot application engineering has been developed for the efficient examination of HR8000 robot. For the Simulation of robot motion. direct and inverse kinematics of robot manipulator was analyzed and robot motion was visualized. The program could contribute to upgrade accuracy and to minimize the time for the robot application engineering.

In the present IEC 60427(2000), reduced applied voltage can be used for synthetic short-circuit making current tests if the maximum pre-arcing time of the test circuit breaker is less than $1/{\omega}$. But in the near future IEC, only the making tests with full test voltage shall be allowed. To meet this trend, KERI is preparing synthetic making test facilities using step-up transformer, ITMC and plasma making switch. This paper presents analytical characteristics of KERI's synthetic short-circuit making test circuits. The results of this paper can be useful for effective and adequate tests.

Intranasal tumors were diagnosed in 21 dogs for 5 years. Sneezing, nasal discharge, nasal bleeding were the most common clinical signs. Diagnosis was performed by blood test, histological examination, radiography, and computed tomography. Among the 27 nasal tumors, adenocarcinornas, squamous cell carcinomas, and chondrosarcomas were relatively common. Breeds with nasal tumor were shetland sheepdog, mongrel, and shiba. The dogs were treated by surgical resection, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, cryosurgery, and radiofrequency ablation. Each therapy alone was not effective, but the combination of two or more therapies had good effects on progression of tumor and made the survival time extended.

We report a zygaenid moth, Inope heterogyna Staudinger for the first time from Korea. This species which shows the dark brown wings without medial lines and markings, is externally indistinguishable from Inope maerens and the correct identification can be done by the genitalia examination. The female genitalia of Inope heterogyna can be distinguished by the relatively short and strongly coiled at the anterior ductus bursae.

Purpose: In the early stage of using PET/CT, it was used to damper revision but recently shows that CT with MDCT is commonly used and works well for an anatomical diagnosis. This hospital makes the accuracy and convenience more higher in the diagnosis and evaluate of coronary heart disease through concurrently running myocardial perfusion SPECT examination, myocardial PET examination with FDG, and CT coronary artery CT angiography(coronary CTA) used PET/CT with 64-slice. This report shows protocol and image based on results from about 400 coronary heart disease examinations since having 64 channels PET/CT in July 2007. Materials and Methods: An Equipment for this examination is 64-slice CT and Discovery VCT (DVCT) that is consisted of PET with BGO ($Bi_4Ge_3O_{12}$) scintillation crystal by GE health care. First myocardial perfusion SPECT with pharmacologic stress test to reduce waiting time of a patient and get a quick diagnosis and evaluation, and right after it, myocardial FDG PET examination and coronary CTA run without a break. One-stop evaluation protocol of ischemic heart disease is as follows. 1)Myocardial perfusion SPECT with pharmacologic stress: A patient is injected with $^{99m}Tc$-MIBI 10 mCi and does not have any fatty food for myocardial PET examination and drink natural water with ursodeoxcholic acid 100 mg and we get SPECT image in an hour. 2)Myocardial FDG PET: To reduce blood fatty content and to increase uptake of FDG, we used creative oral glucose load using insulin and Acipimox to according to blood acid content. A patient is injected with $^{18}F$-FDG 5 mCi for reduction of his radiation exposure and we get a gated image an hour later and get delay image when we need. 3) Coronary CTA: The most important point is to control heart rate and to get cooperation of patient's breath. In order to reduce a heart rate of him or her below 65 beats, let him or her take beta blocker 50 mg ~ 200 mg after a consultation with a doctor about it and have breath-practices then have the examination. Right before the examination, we spray isosorbide dinitrate 3 to 5 times to lower tension of bessel wall and to extension a blood wall of a patient. It makes to get better the shape of an anatomy. At filming, a patient is injected CT contrast with high pressure and have enough practices before the examination in order to have no problem. For reduction of his radiation exposure, we have to do ECG-triggered X-ray tube modulation exposure. Results: We evaluate coronary artery stenosis through coronary CTA and study correlation (culprit vessel check) of a decline between stenosis and perfusion from the myocardial perfusion SPECT with pharmacologic stress, coronary CTA, and can check viability of infarction or hibernating myocardium by FDG PET. Conclusion: The examination makes us to set up a direction of remedy (drug treatment, PCI, CABG) because we can estimate of effect from remedy, lesion site and severity. In addition, we have an advantage that it takes just 3 hours and one-stop in that all of process of examinations run in succession and at the same time. Therefore it shows that the method is useful in one stop evaluation of ischemic heart disease.

This Research was designed to develop an instrument that can be used for measuring and analysing the degree of the quality of life of the Allogenic bone marrow transplantation survivors and to provide basic data to help them attain a better quality of life. The subjects of this study were a total of 101 people who were undergone Allogenic bone marrow transplantation and were over 100 days after transplantation. Data were collected during the period from September 3 to December 2. 2000. In Developing this instrument, the researcher established a conceptual framework based on the result of previous research, interview of patients and medical staff and researcher's experience. The scale for this instrument consisted of 51 items. Responses were obtained from the respondents through a self reporting method and each item had a possible score of 5. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The reliability of the scale was tested by Cronbach‘s alpha. For the examination of the component factors of the measuring instruments, factor analysis method was used. Examination of the difference in the quality of life as related to demographic variables was done using t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA). For the examination of the major variables influencing the quality of life, Pearson's Correlations was used. The results were as follows: (1) The reliability of the instrument was 0.90 (Cronbach's alpha) (2) The validity of the instrument was tested by factor analysis. The result of the factor analysis of the 51 items is making up the instruments were classified into the following factor; emotional state, Interpersonal problem, physical problem, spiritual state, social problem, decrease of physical energy, physical problem-eye, physical problem-skin and mucosa, health awareness, elimination problem, worry about health, financial problem, sexual problem. (3) Demographic variables related to quality of life is the time after transplantation. GVHD experience, lose of job. Age at the transplantation, diagnosis, type of the transplantation, marital status, monthly income, educational background, sex, religion are not related to the quality of life.

This study was conducted to evaluate the prevalence of helminths parasites from collected fecal samples of 410 feral pigeons (Columba livia) in 3 different areas of Gwangjin-gu, Seongdong-gu and Dongdaemun-gu in Seoul from December, 2011 to July, 2012 in Korea. The fecal samples were examined through by the centrifugation method using formalin-ether solution. The overall prevalence of parasites in the pigeons was 29.27% (120/410). Two nematodes (Tetrameres spp. and Capillaria spp.) and one protozoa (Eimeria spp.) were identified. In the case of nematodes, Tetrameres spp. dominated numerically (58, 14.15%), followed by Capillaria spp. (10, 2.44%) and oocysts of Eimeria spp. were detected in 78 cases (19.02%). This investigation introduces the result of examination on the prevalence of parasites in feral pigeons from some areas in Seoul for the first time.
