This study analyzes the teacher certification examination from 2014 to 2019. The research methods are summarized as follows. First, the questionnaire on tests conducted from 2014 to 2019 was divided into 'Teacher Eligibility Criteria', 'Assessment Area', and 'Evaluation Content Elements' for detailed analysis. Second, the examination for the 2019 school year from the 2014 school year compared the 2009 curriculum with the yearly question items in order to examine the correlation between the secondary school curriculum and test items. Third, this study examined the home economics department reflected in the curriculum of the five national universities. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, according to the results of the questionnaire survey conducted from 2014 to 2019, the field of Home Economics education showed the highest rate of 25% or more in all years. Second, in order to examine the correlation between secondary school curriculum and Home Economics test items, this study compared the results of the 2014 - 2019 school year examination with the 2009 curriculum. Third, as a result of analyzing the curriculum of the five universities of the National College of Education, the basic courses were properly established at all colleges of education. As a result, the correlation was high overall, even within subcategories, the rate of exams was high only incertain attendants and the frequency of exams was low at some attendants.
In this study, an improvement plan was derived by statistically analyzing the system and current status of tests in Korea and survey of seafarers perception in order to improve the expertise of the Korean fishing vessel officer examination. Recently, about 70% of marine accident occurs from fishing vessels. Therefore, it's necessary to improve the examination to reduce marine accidents. As a result, it was identified that an average of 29,265 applicants have applied over the past four years, and among them, 1,833 people have applied for fishing vessel licenses, accounting for 6.3% of the total. According to the result of explanation and response of 115 people, they responded that practical utilization was low, each operation waters has different requirements and it's necessary to improve the contents of the questions for the specialty subject. In addition, inappropriate questions were found in previous exams. To reduce marine accidents caused by human error and to improve the professionalism of fishing vessel officers, it is necessary to adjust the test criteria and ratio with characteristics of fishing vessels and in the long run, institutional improvements such as the distinction between test subjects and licenses are needed.
Objectives: Active pulmonary tuberculosis (active PTB) is manifested in one of the complications of pneumoconiosis, but statistics are not available. The objective of the present study was to identify the incidence of active PTB among dusty workers who were diagnosed with pneumoconiosis by year. Methods: The present study was performed using the results of the Pneumoconiosis Examination Council's assessment from the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (KCOMWEL) database between January 1, 1984, and December 31, 2017. Pneumoconiosis is defined as Category 1 or more. Active PTB was defined as a positive result for active PTB in the result of the Pneumoconiosis Examination Council's assessment. The annual incidence rate of pneumoconiosis and active PTB were analyzed by age standardization. Results: The number of retired dusty workers who received the health examination for work-related pneumoconiosis increased every year. However, the incidence of pneumoconiosis among retired dusty workers and active PTB among patients with pneumoconiosis decreased every year. Conclusions: To effectively manage pneumoconiosis and active PTB among patients with pneumoconiosis, the annual status of them in retired dusty workers who received the health examination for work-related pneumoconiosis was required.
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to opportunity of oral examination and positively utilizing the oral-health educational method of being preferred on the basis of the contents promote workers' oral health. Methods : This study carried out questionnaire research by self-administrated method, which was selected by convenience sampling method, from February 9th to March 6th, 2009 targeting 237 workers where are located in Gunsan city of Jeollabuk-do Province. Results : 1. Workers' interest and recognition of importance in oral health were high, and were low in subjective oral-health knowledge level, on the other hand. 2. Workers were indicated to be high in the response rate of work-site oral examination and, on the other hand, to be high in the dissatisfied rate at work-site oral examination. 3. As for work-site oral examination, the workers were indicated to positively recognize participation in work-site oral-health education along with high necessity. 4. Workers were indicated to prefer the most a method of lecture such as dentist along with contents in prevention and curing method of periodontal disease. Conclusions : An efficient result is thought to be probably obtained given offering an opportunity of oral examination and positively utilizing the oral-health educational method of being preferred on the basis of the contents with the highest preference, in order to promote workers' oral health.
The Ministry of Education established the plan to adopt a new college enterance examination system, so called Scholastic Ability Test for college, from 1994. The National Board of Educational Evaluation had carried out 7 experimental trials for the new examination system. Eventhough, the governmental officials advertised the purpose and characteristics of the new examination system, many students and parents did not understand the essential point very well. In this study the researcher tried to analyze the 7 trial examination items and the first Scholastic Ability Test for college carried out 1993. In this study, the researcher tried to find out all the items appeared in the 7 trials. In the analysis, all the individual items from the 1st trial to the 7th trial were used. The research results showed that the items were evenly distributed in all the four areas(Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Earth Science) of science content; however, they were heavily concentrated on data or information analysis categoris in the inquiry domain. In the domain of context, laboratory context was the major item context. The scores were also analyzed. The results showed that no significant difference between male and female students. However, science track students showed higher achievement scores than the non-science track student. The examination result showed high correlation with the tests routinely have carried out in schools. The over all analysis showed the new examination system showed very different characteristics to the conventional tests. Therefore, for the student to get successful result in the Scholastic Ability Test, they should change the way of study. They should try to understand scientific concepts rather than to memorize them. They should invest their time to carry out real experiments rather than to focus on the princples and laws of science. One of the most important thing would be for the student to apply what they learned to real life situations.
Background: This paper describes the relationship and effect of health examination on personal medical cost by identifying the difference of the cost for medical care in physician visit between the population without and with health examination. Methods: After classifying into three cohorts in which, independent variables were designed according to the Andersen's behavioral model, the association of personal medical cost for medical care and prescription drugs which is dependent variable was analyzed by t-test and Mann-Whitney test for description and gamma regression model for inference. Results: In personal average medical cost, the population with health examination paid significantly more than without health examination, 11.6% more in cohort 2008, 26.6% more in cohort 2009, and 48.0% more in combined cohort. The odds ratio on medical expenditure of outpatients with health examination was 1.067, 1.126, 1.398 significantly in cohort 2008, 2009, and combined cohort respectively, comparing to the group without health examination. In independent variables, that is female, the elderly, never married, non-working, non-metropolitan, the higher family income, the smaller family size, people with disability, the people with chronic disease, and people with health examination have significantly being paid more tendency showing positive association with medical cost. Conclusion: This result showed that medical expenditure in physician visit has been increased after taking a health examination. Therefore reasonable limitation of getting preventive medical service is suggested to avoid medical shopping around and reduce being repeated health examination by unifying control to find out easily the clinical results from various medical facilities.
For this study, we carried out dementia assessment examination of 74 patients with memory disturbance who have come to Cheongju oriental hospital of Daejeon university from April 2005 to February 2006. This study classified the patients as none-dementia(ND), questionable dementia(QD), and dementia(DA) groups and analyzed the result of examination. As a result, the following conclusion was drawn. 1. Among the 3 groups, there was no significant differences in the sex distribution. But according to age distribution, the age of QD and DA groups showed significant difference from that of ND group. 2. MMSE-K and HDS-K scores showed the significant differences among all groups, and 7 MS result showed the significant difference between ND and the other groups. 3. The DA group significantly got lower scores than ND group in the items of the MMSE-K, Orientation, Registration, Recall, Attention, Copy two pentagons and Comprehension. Especially, significant difference also was shown in the orientation item between QD and DA groups. 4. The scores in the items of 7 MS, Benton temporal orientation, Enhanced cued recall and Clock drawing showed significant difference among all groups. Category fluency score showed significant difference between ND and the other groups. 5. The results of Brain CT and clinical chemistry test didn't show significant difference among all groups.
This study is to investigate the status and problems in the anual physical examination in elementary & secondary schools. The study helps the introduction of health assessment. Two hundreds and forty nurse teachers of elementary & seconcary school in Seoul received in-service traomong fpr 20 daus frp, September 7 to September 27, 1992. Questionnaires were given to the 240 teachers and the number of collected questionnaire is 112. The result of the questionnaire analysis is like the following. First, the answered teachers aged 35~39, 36.6%; experience 6~10 years 37.5%; the number of class 31~40, 28.6%. Among the answered of the school doctors is practicioners. The doctors major subjects are 26.8% of internal medicine and 35.7% of surgery. Second, in elementary & secondary school nurse teachers received in-service training for the primary health assessment. And then 37.5% of schools practiced the health assessment. The term of the health assessment is largely a-year-length, occurately its rate of schools have practiced the assessment reaches 81.0%. The number of health assessment are consist of eyes, nose, ear, throat, skin, spine, heart and other abnormal regions and diseases all over the body. And 83.3% of the rate of the health assessment includes all these contents. The period of the health assessment is 7 to 28 days. Third, the physical examination conducted by school doctors is 91.0%. The method is various; one is 56.6% of the students who checked first by he nurse teacher. The number of 15.1% of the schools is directly checked by the school doctor. The invited medical doctors are divided into two categories. The number of general physician is 61.9%. Contrary to that school doctors are 38.1%. The contents of the medical examination is all the items printed on the medical examination sheet. To follow the medical examination sheet the number of school is 59.6%. Eyes, throat, skin and heart etc. partly medical examination is 40.4%. The rate of schools that used only stethoscope, tongue pressor as the medical instruments reaches 53.4% and 87.1% of elementary & secondary school give the invited doctors the allowance a nurse teachers conference decided. Early finding of the students diseases can help to cure with ease. In the light of public health the management of health program in the elementary & secondary school is of consequence.
Investigation of conservation status, optical survey, infrared thermography, and ultrasonic examination were performed on Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva mural and Buddhist Monk Bodhidharma mural to determine the conservation status and physical properties. As a result of investigation of conservation status, the types of damage are largely divided into the wall and finishing layer damage, painting layer degradation, damage due to restoration materials, stains and contamination, and biological damage. As a result of the optical survey, drawing, stains, and repainted site were confirmed. Result of the infrared thermography, the delamination of the finishing layer was confirmed, and some locations and shapes of the wooden lath inside the wall were identified. The result of the 3D scanning, the deviation, and the separation of the wall was confirmed. As a result of ultrasonic examination, it was confirmed that the physical properties of the mural were identified and the ultrasonic speed was relatively low due to physical damage such as delamination and exfoliation of the finishing layer and cracking. Ultrasonic speed values were also high in some wall cracks or delamination, and it was confirmed by the infrared thermography results that the wooden lath inside the wall was located in those parts. It was possible to understand that the wooden lath inside the walls affects the ultrasonic speed during the ultrasonic examination. Therefore, management through periodic inspection of the relevant elements is necessary, and a countermeasure for damage that may occur in the future should be prepared along with intensive monitoring of the major damage identified in this diagnosis result.
This paper deals with enhancement of the high school equalization assignment system to be executed by the allied entrance examination after the applicants graduated from their middle schools. In prevailing opinion, because educational demander's will has not been considered under the current system, it whose merits have been covered is required to be improved. If the application system of the entrance examination for the high schools will be returned, a situation that it will result in irregularity of the middle school education and in overheating entrance examination seems to appear explicitly. Since the averages of the allied entrance examination score of all the high schools, achieved by the equalization-application nearest assignment system which is named by writers of this paper, are equal, our system is good for maintaining the merits of the current system. More than 50% educational demander's will has been reflected by our system, so that we come to the conclusion that our system is excellent in all the systems verified up to now. Assigning students to the high school to make an average difference between three and five score, we expect that relection rate of the educational demander's will be increased more than 60%.
