This case report describes capture myopathy in an 8-month-old female red-necked wallaby (Macropus rufogriseus) that died after a 14-day history of depression, lameness and astasia following a bathing protocol for dermatitis. In a blood test performed the day after the wallaby fell down, serum chemistry showed a normal rangeof LDH but elevated CK, ALT and AST. Upon histopathologic examination after the animal's death, we found degeneration and necrosis of myofibers in skeletal muscle and myocardium. According to history that the wallaby was pressed by other individuals, suspected vitamin E insufficiency in the diet, physical stress during bathing as well as results of a blood test and microscopic examination, we diagnosed this case as capture myopathy. Although capture myopathy is a common problem in marsupials, this is the first reported case in Korea and understanding this case will help to manage future cases of capture myopathy in captive settings in Korea.

Unlike ordinary recreational facilities, an amusement park consists of various entertainment facilities, attractions, food services, souvenir shops and other attribute. The purpose of this study is to survey users´ responses to such attributes and analyze the importance and performance of each attribute, and thereby, ultimately help improve the efficiency of management and operation of the amusement parks. For this purpose, a survey was conducted of Everland users in August, 1999. 420 users were chosen by means of he systematic sampling. All the suers were asked to rate the importance of 14 attributes of Everland at the entrance and all of them were asked to do the same at the exit. As a result, it was found that the attribute rated highest by the users was ´attraction´, followed by ´service´, ´accessibility´ and ´cost´ in that order. On the other hand, it was found that the total average of importance rated for 14 attributes was 3.31, while that of performance was 3.10. As a consequence of analyzing the action grids, it was found that ´appropriateness of the circulation system´ should be improved most urgently. 7 attributes were categorized as ´keeping up good work´, and 6 ones were rated ´low priority´ in terms of improvement. There was no attribute considered to be ´possible overkill´. Meanwhile, as a result of analyzing the difference among groups in order to determine users´ response depending on their demographic and socio-economic variables, it was found that only the ´age´ variable was significant. It is expected that the results that the results of this study would be useful in determining priorities when improving amusement park facilities or their programs.

This article is designed to establish fundamental design criterion for theme park cast costumes in accordance with play type and space. There is an understanding that theme parks act as a play space that is designed to meet diverse playing desires. To analyze cast costumes, the theme park - 'Everland' in South Korea as an example, area was divided into attraction space and non-attraction space. Attraction space is mainly for full-scale play content areas and the non-attraction space is to enforce the attraction space experience. Roger Caillois's play theory states that there are 4 play types; Illinx, Mimicry, $Ag{\hat{o}}n$, and Alea. All 4 play types were shown through attraction and Mimicry at non-attraction. Each cast costume was analyzed in terms of apparel design elements - silhouette, textile, color, detail, and props - related to play type facility and cast role. Criteria for theme park cast costume designs were suggested based on the results. Illinx cast members who fulfill a safety-checking role wear high chroma warm color costumes with the accent on details in bodice cutting lines, collar edges, pockets, buttons and decorative ornaments. A complementary contrast is also used. The guidance cast in Illinx may wear a suit in bright/vivid color. Mimicry guidance cast costumes show meticulous perfection in imitation with the figure in its space. From head to toe, color, textile, and silhouette - every detail and even props should match the character. $Ag{\hat{o}}n$ cast costumes are strictly limited in detail and decorative ornament usage as well as in color, since they are in charge of the management and operation of a competition. Alea cast's role is a self-demonstrator. Alea cast members should be a real tarot card reader. However, a manual should control their costumes. A total of 10 cast roles at a non-attraction space should be designed to show job patterns clearly in accordance with the whole theme at the park.

This study provides basic information on morphological characteristics of zoysia mite, Aceria zoysiae and symptom in zoysiagrass for turfgrass management in golf courses. Zoysiagrass mite distributed from Pocheon, Gyeonggii province to Jinju, Gyeongnam province and damaged turfgrasses from spring to fall. Damaged leaf by zoysiagrass mite was rolled unidirectionally and mite damaged leaves in the inside of rolled part. Leaves was turned to yellow and damaged area formed irregular yellow patch.

We describe a case of enterolithiasis in an eight-year-old male Grant's zebra (Equus burchelli boehmi) that died after a 10-day history of depression, anorexia, dehydration and colic. On necropsy, an enterolith was discovered at the conjunction of the descending colon and the rectum. The spherical enterolith weighed 1,660 g and was $13.5cm{\times}8cm$ in size. According to scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), the nidus consisted primarily of $SiO_2$ with outer layers of magnesium and phosphate. The formation of enteroliths is closely related to diet. We suggest that this captive zebra's diet, which consisted primarily of alfalfa hay with mineral supplements, was the cause of enterolithiasis in this case. This is the first report of enterolithiasis in a captive equid in Korea. Our findings provide information valuable for the development of dietary guidelines to prevent enterolithiasis in captive wild equids.

Hematological and serum biochemical values were assessed from 20 clinically healthy Japanese Macaques raised in Everland Zoological Gardens and compared to the International Species Information System (ISIS) reference range that is used internationally as standard for wildlife animals. Taking our standard on sexual maturation at age 4, tRBC values in Macaques under age 4 were significantly lower than those over age 4, but the Hb and PCV values were significantly higher. Compared to the ISIS standard, the tRBC values in Macaques under age 4 were significantly lower whereas the Hb and MCHC values were significantly higher. Moreover, in the samples of Macaques over age 4, the PCV and MCV values were significantly lower than the ISIS standard. On serum biochemistry values the creatinine and amylase values in the Macaques under age 4 were significantly lower than those over age 4. In comparison with the ISIS standard, the values of ALT, ALP, BUN, IP, $Ca^{2+}$ and $K^+$ in the Macaques under age 4 did have no significant difference. The values of TP, GGT, tBil, amylase, TG and UA were significantly higher than the ISIS standard, but the values of albumin, AST, glucose, creatinine, cholesterol, CPK, LDH, $Na^+$ and Clwere significantly lower. In contrast, the values of TP, albumin, ALT, ALP, creatinine, cholesterol, amylase, TG, IP and $Na^+$ in the Macaques over age 4 did have no significant difference, but the values of GGT, BUN, tBil, UA and $Ca^{2+}$ were significantly higher, while the values of AST, glucose, CPK, LDH, $K^+$ and $Cl^-$ were significantly lower. On the other hand, there was no significant difference in hematological and serum biochemical values between the groups of male and female.

This study was initiated to evaluate the growth characteristics of creeping bentgrass cultivars during the sprlng season. The green-up of 'CY' and 'T-1' were about 2 weeks earlier than the other cultivars followed by 'Penn A' 'Crenshaw', 'L> 'Penncross' > 'Putter' > 'Dominant' > 'SR1020' in that order. 'T-1' and 'CY-2' had the highest chlorophyll content while 'Penncross' had the lowest during the spring. 'Crenshaw' and 'Penn A-4' showed the highest shoot density in this research, followed by 'CY-2', 'L-93', 'T-1', 'Putter', 'Dominant', 'SR1020', and 'Penncross' in that order. In case of root length, 'CY-2' and 'L-93' were the best cultivars, but 'Penncross' was worst during the spring. 'CY-2' had the best visual quality among the cultivars, 'T-1' and 'Crenshaw' also classified as high visual quality group whereas 'SR1020', 'Dominant' and 'Penncross' were grouped in relatively low quality. In conclusion, 'CY-2', 'T-1' and 'Crenshaw' were the best cultivars in terms of growth characteristics in spring. Conversely, 'SR1020' and 'Penncross' were the poorest cultivars. These results can be more useful for management or constructing of golf courses. However, this research was performed with little compaction stress. More information is needed on the tolerance to compaction stress of these bentgrass cultivars.
