We have investigated the effects of hole-injection buffer layer in organic light-emitting diodes using copper phthalocyanine (CuPc), poly(vinylcarbazole)(PVK), and Poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT: PSS) in a device structure of $ITO/bufferr/TPD/Alq_3/Al$. Polymer PVK and PEDOT:PSS buffer layer were produced using the spin casting method where as the CuPc layer was produced using thermal evaporation. Current-voltage characteristics, luminance-voltage characteristics and efficiency of device were measured at room temperature at various a thickness of the buffer layer. We observed an improvement in the external quantum efficiency by a factor of two, four, and two and half when the CuPc, PVK, and PEDOT:PSS buffer layer were used, respectively. The enhancement of the efficiency is assumed to be attributed to the improved balance of holes and elelctrons resulting from the use of hole-injection buffer layer. The CuPc and PEDOT:PSS layer function as a hole-injection supporter and the PVK layer as a hole-blocking one.

The vaporization and combustion of liquid spray in a cylindrical shape combustor was studied numerically. Mixture of liquid drops and air was assumed to be ejected from the center-hole and assisting air from the concentric annulus with swirling. Eulerian-Lagrangian scheme was adopted for the two phase calculation, and the interactions between the phases were considered with the PSIC model. Also adopted were the infinite conductivity model for drop vaporization, the equation of Arrhenius and the eddy break-up model for reaction rate, and the k-epsilon model for turbulence calculations. Gas flow patterns, drop trajectories and contours of temperature and mass fractions of the gas species were predicted with swirl number, drop diameter, and equivalence ratio taken as parameters. Calculations show that the vaporization and the consequent combustion efficiency enhance with the increase of the swirl number and/or with the decrease of drop size, and the higher maximum temperature is attained with the higher equivalence ratio.

In this study, We fabricated Organic Electroluminescence device, in order to improve the efficiency of Blue OLED in the full-color OLED. We made two sample. Sample A is that We used TPD(N,N‘-bis(3-methylphenyl)-N,N'-diphenylbenzidine} as hole transport layer(HTL), and Butyl-PBD(2-(4-Biphenylyl)-5-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole) as emitting material layer(EML) and Alq3(8-Hydroxyquinoline, aluminum} as electron transport layer(ETL). Sample B is that we used TPD(N, N'-bis(3-methylphenyl)-N,N'-diphenylbenzidine} as HTL and co-evaporated Butyl-PBD and Alq3 as EML. We investigated the characteristic of brightness and current-:voltage. The sample B that co-evaporated Butyl-PBD and Alq3 as EML improved characteristic of brightness and current-voltage than sample A. Maximum luminescence of sample B is $310cd/m^2$ and threshold voltage is 7V.

I-III-VI2 chalcopyrite compounds, particularly copper, indium, gallium selenide(Cu(InxGa1-x)Se2, CIGS), are effective light-absorbing materials in thin-film solar application. They are direct band-gap semiconductors with correspondingly high optical absorption coefficients. Also they are stable under long-term excitation. CIS (CIGS) solar cell reached conversion efficiencies as high as 19.5%. Several methods to prepare CIS (CIGS) absorber films have been reported, such as co-evaporation, sputtering, selenization, and electrodeposition. Until now, co-evaporation is the most successful technique for the preparation of CIS (CIGS) in terms of solar efficiency, but it seems difficult to scale up. CIS solar cells have been hindered by high costs associated with a fabrication process. Therefore, inorganic colloidal ink suitable for a scalable coating process could be a key step in the development of low-cost solar cells. Here, we will present the preparation of CIS photo absorption layer by a solution process using novel metal precursors. Chalcopyrite copper indium diselenide (CuInSe2) nanocrystals ranging from 5 to 20nm in diameter were synthesized by arrested precipitation in solution. For the fabrication of CIS photo absorption layer, the CuInSe2 colloidal ink was prepared by dispersing in organic solvent and used to drop-casting on molybdenum substrate. We have characterized the nanoparticless and CIS layer by XRD, SEM, TEM, and ICP.

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells(DSSCs) consist of a titanium dioxide($TiO_2$) nano film of the photo electrode, dye molecules on the surface of the $TiO_2$ film, an electrolyte layer and a counter electrode. But two transparent conductive oxide(TCO) substrates are estimated to be about 60[%] of the total cost of the DSSCs. Currently novel TCO-less structures have been investigated in order to reduce the cost. In this study, we suggested a TCO-less DSSCs which has titanium double layer electrodes. Titanium double layer electrodes are formed by electron-beam evaporation method. Analytical instruments such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope were used to evaluate the TCO-less DSSCs. As a result, the proposed structure decreases energy conversion efficiency and short-circuit current density compared with the conventional DSSCs structure with FTO glass, while internal series impedance of TCO-less DSSCs using titanium double layer electrodes decreases by 27[%]. Consequently, the fill factor is improved by 28[%] more than that of the conventional structure.

In this paper, multiheterostructure white organic light-emitting device was fabricated by vacuum evaporation. The structure of white organic light-emitting device is ITO/CuPc/TPD/DPBi:DPA/$Alq_3/Alq_3$:DCJTB/BCT/$Alq_3$/Ca/Al. Three primary colors are implemented with DPVBi, Alq$_3$and DCJTB. The maximum EL wavelength of the fabricated white organic light-emitting device is 647nm. And the CIE coordinate is (0.33, 0.33) at 13 V. In the fabrication of white organic light-emitting devices with DCJTB, $Alq_3$, DPVBi, the EL spectrum has two peaks at 492nm, 647nm. Two peaks appeared because the blue light is combined with green light. The maximum wavelength of red light is not changed with applied voltage. After voltage applied, for the first time, the electrons met the holes in the red emission layer and emitted red light. And then the electrons moved to the green emission layer, and blue emission layer continuously. Finally, when all of the emission layer activated, the white light is emitted.

In this study, we prepared CdTe/CdS solar cells using a thermal vacuum evaporation method. In particular, $CdCl_2$ treatment was attempted using this same method at $400^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. The prepared CdTe/CdS solar cells were investigated using Fouier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and a solar simulator system including light absorption properties, morphological properties, and power conversion efficiency (PCE). In addition, we investigated the gamma-irradiation treatment at dose rates of 0 Gy, 500 Gy, 1 kGy, 10 kGy, and 30 kGy. The characteristics of gamma-irradiation treatment were studied based on the same method described above. In particular, it showed increased values as 0.826% higher than the non-irradiation of 0.448% from PCE analysis.
Phospholipase C from Clostridium perfringens is known to catalyze the hydrolysis of phospholipids in biological membranes. In this study, a simple and sensitive method for assaying phospholipase C was developed by using liposomes entrapping calcein as a fluorescent marker. Phospholipase C-induced lysis of liposomes was determined by measuring the fluorescence intensity of calcein released out from liposomes, Various liposomes with different compositions were prepared by reverse-phase evaporation method to investigate the effect of liposomal composition on the lytic activity of phospholipase C. The calcein-entrapping efficiency of liposomes was affected by the chain length of fatty acid in phosphatidylcholine constituting liposomes. The lytic activity of phospholipase C was the highest against liposomes prepared with eggPC. The lytic activity decreased with increasing chain length of fatty acid in phosphatidylcholine. Incorporation of cholesterol more than 20% into the liposomal bilayer inhibited the phospholipase C-induced lysis. The lysis of liposomes was more greatly increased by the addition of 10 mM of calcium. The lytic activity of phospholipase C was also affected by the surface charge of liposomes. Taken together, it was concluded that reverse-phase evaporation vesicles composed of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine and cholesterol in the molar ratio of 9 : 1 allowed to detect the lowest concentration of phospholipase C (0.10 μg/assay volume). This study suggested that the use of liposomes can provide a simple, sensitive and inexpensive method for assaying phospholipase C.

DBN-DNN 모형의 성능은 통계학적 모형성능 평가지표 (coefficient of efficiency, CE; coefficient of determination, $r^2$; root mean square error, RMSE; mean absolute error, MAE)를 이용하여 평가되었으며, 기존의 두가지 형태의 ANN (artificial neural network), 즉 모형학습 시 SGD (stochastic gradient descent) 및 GD (gradient descent)를 각각 적용한 ANN-SGD 및 ANN-GD 모형과 비교하였다.
