The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among child care teachers' role performance and burnout, and supervisors' support. The subjects in this study were 171 child care teachers working in Gyeonggi province. Role performance questionnaire, the perceived supervisor's support scale, and the perceived burnout scale were used for this study. For the research analysis, frequency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, and Pearson's correlation were calculated and regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows. Firstly, it was revealed that both child care teachers' role performance and the perceived supervisors' support had statistically negative significant correlations with child care teachers' burnout. Secondly, role performance had statistically meaningful negative influences on child care teachers' overall burnout. Training and teaching activities as a sub-variable of child care teachers' role performance had statistically meaningful negative influences on emotional exhaustion, a lack of feeling of personal accomplishment, and overall job burnout. Thirdly, supervisors' support also had statistically meaningful negative influences on burnout. Material support as the sub-variable had statistically meaningful negative influences on emotional exhaustion, dehumanization, a lack of feeling of personal accomplishment, and overall job burnout. Evaluative support had statistically meaningful and negative influences on dehumanization and a lack of feeling of personal accomplishment. Through the results of this study, it must be indicated that it needs to promote the support of the supervisor in the various aspects and to provide a way which child care teachers efficiently perform the role in order to reduce their burnout.
The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of self efficacy, emotional labor, and social support on job center workers' psychological burnout. The data in the study were collected from 132 workers who work for job center in Busan, Ulsan, Gimhae, and Jinhae, and Self-Estimate Inventory, Emotional Labor Scale, Social Support Scale, and Maslach Burnout Inventory were used. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were applied for data processing. The results of the study are as follows. First, the study found a correlation between job center workers' self efficacy and psychological burnout, with higher self efficacy being less burnout. This shows that self efficacy has an meaningful influence on job center workers' psychological burnout. Second, it also found a correlation between job center workers' emotional labor and psychological burnout, with higher emotional labor being more burnout. However, multiple regression analysis indicates that frequency of emotional display, attentiveness to required display rule, and emotional dissonance which are sub-factors of emotional labor have a negative influence on psychological burnout. Third, it found a correlation between job center workers' social support and psychological burnout, with higher social support being less burnout. Among sub-factors of social support, material support and evaluative support have a meaningful influence on psychological burnout statistically. Fourth, it showed that self efficacy has a high influence on psychological burnout. This research suggests to provide basic materials which are a great help to study job center worker's psychological burnout, and proposes to arrange various program for developing human resources of job center as a public employment organization.

Given that the ratio of adolescents among North Korean refugees is increasing, it is the right time to study the present situation of juvenile North Korean defectors. North Korean adolescents tend to find themselves in an uncomfortable situation as they experience unfamiliar lives in South Korea, and act passively in various situations. A proper resolution of such problems in this situation will help them adapt smoothly to South Korean society. This study investigates the relationship between social support, self-esteem, and problem-solving abilities of North Korean adolescent refugees based on a survey on 213 North Korean teens which was performed for 24 days beginning on June 14 2017. The study results show that emotional, material, informational, and evaluative support for North Korean adolescent defectors, which is a type of social support, had a positive effect on their self-esteem, and self-esteem in turn had a positive effect on their problem solving ability. In addition, self-esteem had a mediating effect on the relationship between the four types of social support and problem solving ability of North Korean adolescent defectors. This study suggested a practical plan to improve the problem solving ability of North Korean adolescent defectors for their smooth adaptation to South Korean society, through social support and improved self-esteem of North Korean adolescents, such as program development or self - development training.
The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of interest in the elderly job project and resilience in the relationship between social support and retirement readiness of the MZ·X generation. This survey conducted reliability and frequency analysis, t/f-verification, descriptive statistical analysis, and analysis of reliability and frequency using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 27.0 programs on the collected data of 359 MZ and X generations of G, Y, and A cities in D and G provinces. Analysis was performed using correlation analysis and structural relationship statistics. As a result of the study, first, it was found that there was a significant correlation between the level of interest in the employment project for the elderly, social support, resilience and readiness for old age. Second, in the relationship between social support and retirement readiness, the degree of interest and resilience of the elderly job project were partially mediated. Therefore, in order to increase the MZ and X generations' interest in and resilience in the job projects for the elderly, the provision of emotional, evaluative, informational, and material support systems as a social support system and the elderly in government agencies such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family A realistic policy of job business policy is needed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate achievements of a community health center for vulnerable population in urban areas and to find out its strength and weakness. Method: This evaluative study employed system theories and analytic techniques. Results: The purpose of improving vulnerable population's health-related self-care abilities adequately met the operation of programs. This center maintained close connection to a nursing college as a information resource. The subjects' satisfaction was high because team members who visited them were faithful and there were face-to-face contact, sufficient time set, closeness and resourcefulness. There were needs for regular meetings to discuss overall matters in organizing the program and to improve management skills. The mean score of health promotion lifestyle was 2.23 on a 4 point scale. This score indicates what in higher than vulnerable people in other communities. Conclusions: Community-based nursing centers for vulnerable population in urban areas should be developed as support organizations and community network.
Increasing interest in computer-mediated learning technologies has prompted educators to incorporate them into many learning environments ; however, there is still little evaluative evidence to support their effectiveness. This report describes the development and evaluation of a web-based instructional program on basic nursing science for nursing students. Researcher-designed questionnaires were used to assess the characteristics of our students, and to solicit their ratings of the instructional program on ease of use, accuracy of content, clarity of content, interest, and convenience of the program, using 5-point Likert scales. The respondents indicated that the package was easy and convenient to use, with high technical quality, and of a level challenging to some but not all of the students. On-line quizzes were most highly rated. Also it was confirmed that frequent users of electronic bulletin board showed much higher achievement score than that of nonfrequent users. It was also found that the effect of cyber education was dependent on the active participation of the students. These data suggest that the use of web-based instructional program as a distance education strategy can be an effective method for nursing students and nurses.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the achievements of the project, and also to find out its strengths and weaknesses. Method: This evaluative study employed system theory and analytic techniques by using criteria which were relevance, appropriateness, adequacy, progress, effectiveness and satisfaction for input, process, output, and outcome of program. Study subjects were participants in the home health care program implemented in G public health center in Inchon metropolitan city in 2003. Results: Input factors including recruitment personnel, and support organization development were not adequately met for the program. However. the goal and objectives of the project were really appropriate for the community needs as well as government's policy. For the Process evaluation, home health care record form and computer data base had not progressed as scheduled, but overall program activities were finished on time. However, cooperation between organizations in the health center during service activity were not supportive. Managerial ability of program charged personnel about coordination and integration of team members was not affirmative. Output and outcome evaluation showed that people improved self care ability were 221 (17.5%). and 71 (5.62%) of subjects were moved into category of possible self-care. Client's satisfaction for this project showed a high degree. Conclusions: Based on the above results support organization and staff personnel for this program should be developed. Also, a community network of resources should be established and case management services should be focused continuously in community based home health care.

Background: Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS), the subject of this evaluative research document employs 1400 people. 80% of employees are operational firefighters and officers whom operate across a range of duty systems and support functions, providing prevention, protection and emergency response to the communities of Lancashire. Methods: The overarching purpose of this epidemiological study is to assess the prevalence of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) amongst operational LFRS personnel and to analyse the effects upon those who may be suffering from it, whether brought about by a single traumatic event or by repeated exposure to traumatic occurrences over a period of time. A combination of primary and secondary research was carried out. Primary data was collated using two recognised clinical questionnaires and statistical analysis was conducted with the aid of the software package SPSS. Results: The findings and statistical analysis showed that out of the 100 people surveyed, 30% of respondents had signs of probable distress. Of this quota, 4% showed symptoms of PTSD. The study considers how an organisation can recognise and manage PTSD and provides recommendations to assist in better recognising and managing the associated risks. Conclusion: Based upon the findings, the authors conclude that the level of PTSD within LFRS is slightly lower than those found in other studies undertaken within the Fire and Rescue Service sector. The paper provides recommendations for future studies and a series of actions for consideration by LFRS senior management to improve PTSD support services for employees.
In response to an increased need, various methods for ontology modularization have been proposed. However, few studies have focused on evaluative methods for ontology modules. In this study, we devise novel metrics to measure ontology modularity. To evaluate the ontology modules, we introduce cohesion and coupling based on the theory of software metrics. A cohesion metric and two coupling metrics were used to measure cohesion and coupling for ontology modules. These metrics were also used to check consistency between the ontology modules and the original ontology. The new metrics support a more detailed relationship between classes in ontology modules. We validate the proposed metrics using the well known verification framework and perform the empirical experiments to complement previous investigations. This study offers ontology engineers valuable criteria with which to select and use ontology modules and modularization techniques.
There is an increasing curiosity in Nordic as well as Far East Asian countries about senior cohousing, where the middle-aged and elderly people, 55+. form a community for independent living. What are the ideas behind senior cohousins? Why are people moving to senior cohousing community? What may senior cohousing provide and mean for individuals and groups of the elderly? Is senior cohousing a sustainable idea for future generations of elderly people? There is a curiosity among elderly people looking for interesting alternatives. Municipalities and state authorities hope that senior cohousing can contribute to the welfare of the elderly as the scope far support by the public sector is decreasing. Actors in the building sector are interested In investment and meeting the demands. In Denmark and Sweden the senior cohousing concept had a revival around 1985. In Denmark there has been a vivid discussion and plenty of books have been published. In Sweden there are few evaluations but an increasing interest. From different points of view, Danish, Swedish and Nordic as well as Far East Asian countries, there is a concern to explore and compare to get more facts and deeper understanding far further actions. This is a comparative study of inhabitants' life satisfaction in cohousing communities in Denmark and Sweden. The study is based on discussions with cohousing providers, study-visits in cohousing communities and a questionnaire to residents themselves. Study-visits took place during springtime and the questionnaires were handled spring and summer of 2002. 655 seniors responded to the questionnaire from 14 seniorbofae llesskaber (rented or housing cooperatives) in Denmark, 11 seniorhus within the SABO sector (municipality owned housing with rental apartments) and 8 housing cooperatives initiated by the Seniorgarden Housing Company in Sweden. Data were analyzed by SPSS program, using frequency, percentage, cross-tab and chi-square test. This paper focused three major areas of interest; 1)characteristics of the inhabitants. 2) participation in common activities and mutual cooperation among residents and 3) evaluative outcomes from the inhabitants' points of view. Mainly the inhabitants expressed quite positive experiences of their living environment and everyday lift and a few difference was found in life satisfaction between Denmark and Sweden.
