고속철도역 환승시설 서비스 평가지표 개발 및 적용 (The Development and Application of the Service Evaluation Indicators of Transfer Facilities in the High-speed Railway Stations)

  • The introduction of KTX(Korea Train Express) has brought an historic change to the overall transit system in Korea. Especially, the high-speed railway stations are expanding the scope as public transit centers. However, we cannot deny that the evaluation on the high-speed railway stations had not been performed successfully so far. The evaluation covers from the connectivity of the scope from door to the stations and the transfer service in the interior of stations. We developed the service evaluation indicators of transfer facilities in the high-speed railway stations. The indicators consist of level of service(LOS), the propriety of allocation, and the quality of information throughout the facilities in the centers. We examined the 7 stations in Korea and standardized the methodology of the evaluation process by applying the indicators. Also, the evaluation is performed easy for anyone to follow.

A two-step interval risk assessment method for water inrush during seaside tunnel excavation

  • Water inrush may occur during seaside urban tunnel excavation. Various factors affect the water inrush, and the water inrush mechanism is complex. In this study, nine evaluation indices having potential effects on water inrush were analysed. Specifically, the geographic and geomorphic conditions, unfavourable geology, distance from the tunnel to sea, strength of the surrounding rock, groundwater level, tidal action, cyclical footage, grouting pressure, and grouting reinforced region were analysed. Furthermore, a two-step interval risk assessment method for water inrush management during seaside urban tunnel excavation was developed by a multi-index system and interval risk assessment comprised of an interval analytic hierarchy process, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, and relative superiority analysis. The novel assessment method was applied to the Haicang Tunnel successfully. A preliminary interval risk assessment method for water inrush was performed based on engineering geological conditions. As a result, the risk level fell into a risk level IV, which represents a section with high risk. Subsequently, a secondary interval risk assessment method was performed based on engineering geological conditions and construction conditions. The risk level of water inrush is reduced to a risk level II. The results agreed with the current tunnel situation, which verified the reliability of this approach.

UHF대역에서 LTE와 DTV간 간섭 평가를 통한 공유 방안 연구 (Study on coexistence through interference evaluation between LTE and DTV in the UHF band)

  • 2012년 12월 30일에 아날로그 TV 방송이 종료됨에 따라 UHF 디지털 여유 대역(698-806MHz)이 LTE(Long Term Evolution)와 같은 이동통신용으로 활용이 가능해졌다. 본 대역이 LTE로 할당되었다고 가정하고 IMT-Advanced 기술 평가를 위하여 개발한 LTE 어드밴스트 시스템 레벨 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 LTE와 인접 DTV 대역과의 간섭 평가를 수행하였다. UHF 디지털 여유대역에 LTE가 서비스 될 경우 LTE 단말이 DTV 수신기에 주는 간섭과 DTV 송신기가 LTE 기지국에 간섭 평가를 통해 공유 조건을 연구결과로 제시한다. 아울러 연구결과에 의한 공유조건은 본 대역에서 LTE 시스템이 구현될 때 네트워크 제어 알고리즘에 활용가능하다.

  • Certification about management innovation business (Mainbiz) was added in 2006 newly along with existent technical innovation business certification (Innobiz) and venture business certification with government's policy connected with reform style small and medium enterprises 30 thousand upbringings. Drew dividing management innovation business evaluation figure by manufacturing industry and service industry through leading study, gives weight by industry about drawn evaluation figure and must give estimation point of suitable level. This studies judge importance about evaluation figure by industry and consider priority order by evaluation figure using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) that use expert group and gave point.

  • 본 연구는 다양한 기술의 융합과 체계통합기술이 고도로 복잡하게 요구되는 국방기술을 이해하고, 분야별 특성이 반영된 가치평가방법을 제안하고자 한다. 가치평가 대상 무기체계의 기술 수준의 척도, 기술 간의 통합(체계통합기술)척도, 제조준비 및 성숙도 척도를 측정요소별 항목에 맞추어 측정하여 시스템성숙도를 확인하고, 시스템의 성숙도를 활용한 핵심기술의 계량적인 가치예측모형의 틀을 제시하고자 한다. 국방기술의 가치를 기술분야별 특성을 고려하여 이에 맞는 가치평가방법을 제안하는 연구이다. 각 분야의 역량있는 기술전문가들에 의해 분야별 기술적인 특성이 반영된 평가 기준에 따라 평가되고, 전체 시스템의 완성도를 정량적인 수치로 표현할 수 있는 시스템성숙도(SRL)를 활용하여 국방기술가치를 평가하는 방안을 제안한다.

Autonomous evaluation of ambient vibration of underground spaces induced by adjacent subway trains using high-sensitivity wireless smart sensors

  • The operation of subway trains induces secondary structure-borne vibrations in the nearby underground spaces. The vibration, along with the associated noise, can cause annoyance and adverse physical, physiological, and psychological effects on humans in dense urban environments. Traditional tethered instruments restrict the rapid measurement and assessment on such vibration effect. This paper presents a novel approach for Wireless Smart Sensor (WSS)-based autonomous evaluation system for the subway train-induced vibrations. The system was implemented on a MEMSIC's Imote2 platform, using a SHM-H high-sensitivity accelerometer board stacked on top. A new embedded application VibrationLevelCalculation, which determines the International Organization for Standardization defined weighted acceleration level, was added into the Illinois Structural Health Monitoring Project Service Toolsuite. The system was verified in a large underground space, where a nearby subway station is a good source of ground excitation caused by the running subway trains. Using an on-board processor, each sensor calculated the distribution of vibration levels within the testing zone, and sent the distribution of vibration level by radio to display it on the central server. Also, the raw time-histories and frequency spectrum were retrieved from the WSS leaf nodes. Subsequently, spectral vibration levels in the one-third octave band, characterizing the vibrating influence of different frequency components on human bodies, was also calculated from each sensor node. Experimental validation demonstrates that the proposed system is efficient for autonomously evaluating the subway train-induced ambient vibration of underground spaces, and the system holds the potential of greatly reducing the laboring of dynamic field testing.

Stability evaluation model for loess deposits based on PCA-PNN

  • Due to the low strength and high compressibility characteristics, the loess deposits tunnels are prone to large deformations and collapse. An accurate stability evaluation for loess deposits is of considerable significance in deformation control and safety work during tunnel construction. 37 groups of representative data based on real loess deposits cases were adopted to establish the stability evaluation model for the tunnel project in Yan'an, China. Physical and mechanical indices, including water content, cohesion, internal friction angle, elastic modulus, and poisson ratio are selected as index system on the stability level of loess. The data set is randomly divided into 80% as the training set and 20% as the test set. Firstly, principal component analysis (PCA) is used to convert the five index system to three linearly independent principal components X1, X2 and X3. Then, the principal components were used as input vectors for probabilistic neural network (PNN) to map the nonlinear relationship between the index system and stability level of loess. Furthermore, Leave-One-Out cross validation was applied for the training set to find the suitable smoothing factor. At last, the established model with the target smoothing factor 0.04 was applied for the test set, and a 100% prediction accuracy rate was obtained. This intelligent classification method for loess deposits can be easily conducted, which has wide potential applications in evaluating loess deposits.

CR 시스템에서 IP 잠상의 소거 후 Unexposed Image의 평가 (Evaluation of Unexposed Images after Erasure of Image Plate from CR System)

  • Computed Radiography (CR) 시스템에서 영상의 신뢰성과 재현성을 높이기 위해서는 영상 획득 과정의 마지막 단계에서 이루어지는 나트륨램프의 소거에 의한 Image Plate (IP)의 완전한 초기화가 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 CR (Agfa CR 25; Agfa, BELGIUM)을 이용하여 잠상의 소거 후 지연시간에 따른 노이즈의 평가, 소거량에 따른 잠상의 소거 후 노이즈의 평가, 그리고 American Association of Physicist in Medicine (AAPM) Report 93 (2006)의 CR acceptance test 중 erasure thoroughness 평가를 시행하였다. 임상에서 주로 쓰이는 Chest postero-anterior (PA), Hand PA, L-spine lateral을 촬영 후 스캔하였다. Chest PA와 L-spine lateral은 Chest phantom (3D-torso; CIRS, USA)을 이용하여 촬영했고 Hand PA는 피검자를 통해 촬영되었다. 실험 결과 Hand PA를 제외한 나머지 unexposed image에서 지연시간이 길어질수록 전반적으로 ghost image를 비롯한 noise가 증가하였으며, overexposure된 부분을 따라 ghost image가 나타났다. 지연시간에 의해 야기된 noise에 의한 영향은 육안으로 확인되지 않았다. 픽셀 값의 standard deviation (SD)은 overexposure 된 부분이 상대적으로 높게 측정되었다. 잠상의 소거 정도에 따른 영상의 noise평가 결과 Hand PA, Chest PA는 소거 정도 값이 높아져도 noise는 증가하지 않았다. 그러나 상대적으로 조사선량이 큰 L-spine lateral은 기준 소거 정도보다 낮을 경우 noise가 발생하였다. Erasure thoroughness 평가 결과 학과 내 CR 장비의 잠상소거능력은 기준치에 부합함을 확인하였다. 본 연구가 IP 초기화에 기초적인 자료를 제공함으로써 신뢰성 있는 영상을 획득하는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

Implementation and Performance Evaluation of TMSC6711 DSP-based Digital Beamformer

  • This paper discusses the implementation and performance evaluation of a DSP-based digital beamformer using the Texas Instrument TMSC6711 DSP processor for smart antenna applications. Two adaptive beamforming algorithms which served as the brain for the beamformer, the Normalized Least-Mean-Square (NLMS) and the Constant Modulus Algorithms (CMA) were embedded into the processor and evaluated. Result shows that the NLMS-based digital beamformer outperforms the CMA-based digital beamformer: 1)For NLMS algorithm, the antenna steers to the direction of the desired user even at low iteration value and the suppression level towards the interferer increases as the number of iteration increase. For CMA algorithm, the beam radiation pattern slowly steers to the desired user as the number of iteration increased, but at arate slower than NLMS algorithm and the sidelobe level is shown to increases as the number of iteration increase. 2) The NLMS algorithm has faster convergence than CMA algorithm and the error convergence for CMA algorithm sometimes is subject to misadjustment.

  • 본고에서는 우리나라와 중, 미국, 일본에서 대학입학 전형자료로 쓰이는 국가 단위의 시험 과목 가운데 수학 과목의 시험 체제와 내용, 문항유형을 분석하여 제시하였다. 이를 통해서 대학입학 전형자료로 사용하기 위한 국가 단위의 대규모 시험에서 필수로 포함될 필요가 있는 내용, 그 내용을 적절하게 담아낼 수 있는 문항 유형, 마지막으로 이 전체를 유효적절하게 구성하여 효과적으로 시험을 치르게 하기 위한 시험체제에 관한 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 그리하여 향후 개정 교육과정에 따른 대학수학능력시험 수리영역의 출제 체제를 결정하는 데에 논의의 바탕을 제공하고자 한다.
