Recommended book lists make 'a good book' known and help choose the books. Currently, the recommended book lists published by various institutions are primarily used as the selection tool for choosing children's and young adults' book in many libraries and schools. Considering this reality, I examined the present production condition of the recommended book lists and evaluated whether they were suitable as a selection tool. Afterwards, I suggested the development methods about how the recommended book lists will be developed for them to function as a selection tool.

The purpose of this study was to examine sanitation management practices of restaurant managers for the training needs analysis. A total of 26 restaurant managers participated in this study. A check list was consisted of three parts : facility, personal, and food hygiene. Two observers and one manager evaluated the same check list at same time and the results were compared. The results of this study suggested that most restaurants have needed for re-training programs in the view of facility, personal, food sanitation practices. Specially, proper washing and sanitizing methods for hands and utensils, proper cooking and holding temperature, and proper storing methods were needed to be trained. Based on this study, most independent restaurant managers in Cheonan were aware of training, but they had no effective training program manuals. Results of this study implicated that dietitians have new opportunity for consultants of independent restaurants in the region because they have practiced sanitation management manuals.

It is important to find indicators of quality nursing care to establish the excellence of nursing practice and for the development of nursing as a profession. Caring is one of the indicators which can represent professional nursing care. The purpose of this study was to develop a measurement tool of caring that could be used as an instrument for the evaluation of quality of nursing care. The Target population for the developed tool of caring is the adult patient. The mearsurement tool of caring was developed through the following steps. (1) A list of caring behaviors was made using qualitative researches on caring that has been done in Korea. (2) Caring behaviors in nurses were selected using the list of caring behaviors developed from Watson's 10 factors of caring. (3) Items for the measurement tool of caring were developed using the caring behaviors of nurses (4) Content validity of the developed items was evaluated by an expert panel. (5) The mearsurement tool of caring was developed after a pilot study (6) Internal consistency, and construct validity of the developed tool were verified. (7) The mearsurement tool of caring with the items verified for the internal consistency and construct validity was confirmed. As a result of the study, a mearsurement tool of caring, composed of 27 items with 3 factors, was developed. The Reliability coefficient of the tool was. 9578. The tool is a 5 point Likert scale. The factors of the tool and the number of items for each factor are, 1) accessibility and availablility, 15 items ; 2) emotional support and giving information, 8 items ; 3) providing a protective environment, 4 items.

This paper is a research that investigated the distribution and status of coastal sand dunes spread along the shoreline of Ongjin-gun, Jung-gu in Incheon and evaluated their conservation status. In Incheon, the length of coastline along the West Sea shoreline is 1,053km. thus leading to an assumption that coastal sand dunes are dispersed their as many as other regional local government. However, there are no enough basic data on the distribution, characteristics, and the management status of other areas besides the 5 places on the list by the Ministry of Environment. Considering this fact, this paper additionally drew 21 coastal sand dunes in the shoreline of Incheon, including the 5 places on the list by the Ministry of Environment, through the standard of coastal sandhill selection. The additionally selected aimed to propose how to develop basic materials on the conservation status of coastal sandhills in Incheon through characteristic analysis by sandhill and qualitative evaluation.

MyData industry became possible with the revision of the three data-related bills on August 2020, and from February 2021, each individual can make MyData financial service through the app provided by MyData providers. In this study, in order to understand the user experience trend of MyData-based financial asset management apps in the user-centered financial service era, the usability evaluation of 11 apps from 8 MyData providers was conducted for 300 adults, then average value comparison, radial graph analysis, and heatmap analysis were conducted. In app design preference, asset list type was the most preferred type, followed by asset comparison·list type. As for the expected perception of the future benefits that can be enjoyed through My Data, 'diversification of convenient services' was the highest at 45.3%, and as a negative factor felt by users, personal information-related factors were the highest at 71.4%. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the development and improvement of user interfaces for MyData platforms.

The purposes of this study are to analyze the problems of the elderly using kitchens by ergonomic work evaluation methods, and to make suggestions for planning and remodeling of the kitchens for the elderly. The work evaluation methods which used in this study were direct-observing methods, which contained the process of 2 or 3 times each visiting to four different houses where elderly people live. For direct-observing methods, analyzing with movement observations and observation methods with photos and videos were used. Characteristics of subject elderly people and problems of their kitchens were analyzed by static measurements, interviews, pictures, and videos. The data, which are recorded movements of the preparing meal of the elderly were analyzed by playing it back repeatedly. As results, physical characteristics of the elderly was the most important consideration; a participant with the arthritical knee was limping at the kitchen entrance due to the difference of the floor level, and a user with a bent back was working on the floor or place an elbow on the worktable to support her body. Those results made a conclusion about the common problems of the kitchens, and suggested the check list which has to be considered when designing the elderly using kitchen.

The emergence of highly contagious viral diseases of livestock and poultry such as foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), African swine fever (ASF) and highly pathogenic influenza (HPAI) have necessitated the formulation of policies and regulatory frameworks for preventing ingress of exotic diseases and controlling dissemination of endemic diseases within the country. The disease control ratings to manage contagious livestock disease in farms have not being widely used because the evaluation parameters were not being considered inappropriate. The purpose of this study was to reinforce the validity of the parameters for evaluation factors and the objectivity of the scoring criteria in the application of the current disease management rating system. The diseases subject to intensive management were improved by reflecting farm situation. For the evaluation based on the disease grading system of farms, the diseases subject to intensive management were realized, the list of diseases for evaluating the vaccination rate was revised, and the quarantine and sanitation management standards were revised. The effectiveness of the improved livestock disease management system was confirmed through the application of actual pig farms. Therefore, this system will be used as a means to evaluation the biosecurity at the farm units. Through this, it will contribute to establish effective biosecurity measures for each farm by improving and supplementing the present disease grading system.

When ordering a slurry shield TBM to be used for power cable tunneling, the client organizes an evaluation committee composed of experts, suggest the criteria and evaluation method for technical specifications for supplier selection, and based on the manufacturer's technical proposal were attempted to evaluate and select. It is expected to be referred to as a guideline for future projects to using Shield TBM as one of the methods of verifying performance and quality in advance and securing economic feasibility in the shield TBM tunneling in the recent increasing trend.

The study was intended to evaluate common spaces of office building in view point of universal design. The common spaces were access road, main entrance, parking lot, corridor, and restroom. Two office buildings in Centum city of Busan were evaluated by their workers, each 100 ones. The check list for evaluating them consisted of 36 universal design elements which related to five common spaces. First, there were many universal design elements which need to be improved. Second, among five common spaces, restroom has the most elements to be rated low. First of all, at least one restroom for wheelchair should be provided each floor. Third, even though both of two office buildings were recently built, there were significant difference between their users' evaluations. This implies that the concept of universal design is not applied to office buildings well. Fourth, there were significant difference among users' evaluations according to age, especially in case of design related elements. This means that users' age is an important factor to be considered.

A nursing activity classification for hospitalized patients was performed based on an article review regarding nursing definition and nursing activity classification system. The study was conducted as follows: 1) Taxonomy was developed by the research team through the Delphi process and review article. The taxonomy consists of four nursing processes, (assessment, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation) and twelve nursing activity domains space (resperation, nutrition, elimination, exercise/alignment maintenance, comfort, hygiene, safety, spiritual support, counseling/ education, medication, communication, patient and information management). 2) First, nursing activities of the intervention process were listed and then classified by the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. The list consists of twelve nursing activity domains and 136 nursing activities. 3) A pilot study was conducted in two hospitals to verify validity and appropriateness of nursing activities. 4) The content validity index, which was calculated by 6 clinical practice experts, was 0.95. Also, a nursing activity classification system should also be developed in the department of community nursing and home health care nursing.
