  • Objectives: The aim of this study is reviewing the literature to extract the key parameter, study design, perspective, cost-effectiveness index and find the calibration parameter for the clinical study with economical evaluation protocol on facial palsy. Methods: Literature search is performed using PUBMED for literature published from January 2000 to December 2016. We included randomized controlled trials(RCTs) and modelling study with economic assessment in which human participated. Results: As a result of literature search, the 198 articles were found. After reviewing the title, abstract and full text, the 5 articles were selected. Selected articles are classified into 4 RCT studies dealing with quality of life and 1 CEA(cost-effectiveness analysis) study. Conclusions: We found reliable key parameters, calibration parameters and elements of economical assessment study, which might be necessary factors for developing research protocol of clinical trial with economic evaluation about facial palsy patients.

  • The city of Suwon has introduced various ITS services between 2001 and 2006 as an alternative to solve chronic traffic congestion in the city. After the successful implementation, there was an effort to evaluate effects from the ITS deployments. However, the effects caused from ITS implementations may be realized in many different ways. Therefore, this research effort was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of ITS implements through the first and second phases in Suwon using reasonable and scientific methods. Based on results from the analysis of variables presenting traffic condition, surveys and economic evaluation, the implementation of ITS services in Suwon can be concluded successful. However, there is a need for efforts to maintain the effects produced from the successful introduction of ITS services through continuous upgrading the systems, intensive maintenance, and efficient operations.

  • Development on non-destructive testing methods were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of crack repair for test beams induced a crack. Cracked beams are repaired with expoxy and microcement, and then they are tested by two methods, the ultrasonic pulse velocity method and the transfer function method. It is proved that the ultrasonic pulse velocity method is very valid for the evaluation of the effectiveness on expoxy repair, and the transfer function method is very applicable to evaluate the effectiveness on microcement repair.

  • Rural landscape is an outcome of residents' life activity based on natural environment. Unlike city, rural residents make their own landscape over a period of time interacting with nature through cultivating and building houses and huts based on the background. Therefore, residents' role in rural area is of greater importance than city's and their recognition of landscape is a key factor to evaluate and manage rural landscape. Landscape Evaluation Map which utilizing Feeling Map method is a evaluation tool to [md out residents' recognition of landscape. In this tool, responses evaluate landscape around their living space and mark color dots which mean landscape grade on a map. This research is to examine effectiveness and applicability of the tool, Landscape Evaluation Map, which is recommended to estimate residents' evaluation of landscape. Through analyzing 7 cases of field application, the effectiveness of Landscape Evaluation Map has been verified and also demerits have been drawn. After modifying detailed techniques and developing resident education, Landscape evaluation map could be applied to [md out landscape resources rather than to evaluate whole rural landscape.

  • This study examined the effects of Korean celebrity advertising models on the advertising effectiveness for Chinese brands by comparing apparel products with electronic products. In addition, this study explored the effects of gender and monthly expenses on the evaluation of Korean celebrity advertising models. This study targeted 388 Chinese university students in China. The results show that Korean advertising models consist of five attributes (familiarity, visibility, credibility, similarity, and attractiveness) and that advertising effectiveness consists of three factors (attitude toward the advertisement, attitude toward the brand, and purchase intention). The impact of these five advertising model attributes on advertising effectiveness differ for apparel and electronic products. The results also indicate gender and expense differences in the evaluation of Korean celebrity models. We discuss the theoretical and managerial implications of the results along with potential limitations and future research directions.

  • This in vivo study via ASTM E2752-10, cup scrub method, was performed to evaluated the residual effectiveness of PCMX and IPMP commonly used in antibacterial soap. The liquid soap having 5% of PCMX and 0.1% of IPMP showed statistically significant reduction of E. coli and S. aurues as compared with control in a trial of 80 healthy volunteers. And its efficacy was maintained for 27 h at least. We report the result of residual effectiveness of antibacterial agents for the first time in Korea.

  • Objective: This study aimed to overview and assess the effectiveness of the policies and regulations that have governed new drug access in Korea, and to propose policies to enhance patient access to drugs, particularly for new innovative medicines. Methods: We approached drug access issues in two perspectives: approval lag (or availability) and reimbursement lag (or affordability). The issues were identified and evaluated through the review of literature, public documents, reports published by the government agencies and private organizations, and news articles. Results: To shorten approval lag, it is recommended to hire and train more reviewers at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Increasing user fees to a realistic level can facilitate this process. To reduce reimbursement lag, flexible incremental cost-effectiveness ratio threshold, alternative cost-effectiveness evaluation, and establishment of funding source other than the national health insurance are identified as the areas to be improved. Conclusion: The current policies and regulations had to be supplemented by new systems to drastically promote patient accessibility to new drugs, consequently in order to promote national public health.

In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the research hypotheses were verified by applying multiple regression analysis and co-integration regression analysis on the 145 usable results from using the statistical program of SPSS 24.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, hypothesis 1, the analysis of positive(+) influence on organizational effectiveness on the characteristics of the system (selection system, evaluation and compensation, education and training opportunity, member participation system, job stability) was adopted due to its' positive(+) and significant relationship. Second, hypothesis 2, an analysis that the organizational effectiveness would have a positive impact on organizational performance was adopted due to its' proven work. However, its' effectiveness will need verification. Third, regression analysis was conducted to confirm the role of the hypothesis 3, personnel management effectiveness, between the high performance and the work system (selection system, evaluation/compensation, education/training opportunity, member participation system, job stability). As a result, Hypothesis 3 showed that the selection system (H3-1), evaluation and compensation(H3-2), education and career opportunities(H3-3), member participation system(H3-4), job stability(H3-4) showed that organizational effectiveness has a moderating role in HR effectiveness. The main implication of this study is that the positive and working system recognized by the organizational members has positive affects on organizational effectiveness and organizational performance. In order to enhance the substantiality management system through improvement of organizational performance, a regular implementation plan on a high-performance working system along with education & training system to improve organizational effectiveness is required so that the members of the organization could form a consensus. Second, as a result of confirming the moderating effects of HR management effectiveness, the moderating role of HR management system and organization effectiveness was verified positive.
