국내 건축물의 피난안정성평가를 위한 비상대피 시 재실자 이동속도에 관한 연구 (A study of on the occupant movement speed during emergency evacuations for the evacuation safety assessment of domestic buildings)

  • 최근 건축물 내의 피난안전성을 확보하고자 계획 및 설계단계부터 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 검토와 피난평가를 수행하고 있다. 이러한 평가는 초기입력요소에 따라 결과 값이 달라지기에 무엇보다 요소별 Data구축이 중요하지만, 국내는 피난관련 실험 및 연구가 미흡해 대부분이 국외기준을 준용하고 있는 게 현실이다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 재실자 이동속도 Data 구축의 목적으로 연령별 피난이동속도실험을 수행 분석해 보았다. 먼저 국내외 피난이동속도 관련 연구를 분석했으며 국내인 134명을 상대로 피난이동속도 실험을 시행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 실험으로 도출된 이동속도 결과치와 기존의 국외 이동속도와 비교 분석하여 국내피난상황과의 검토 및 확인절차를 실시하였다. 앞으로 이렇게 도출된 실험 Data는 국내 피난안정성평가의 이동속도 관련 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

대학교육시설(大學敎育施設)의 복도(複道).계단(階段) 폭(幅)과 보행자(步行者) 밀도(密度)가 피난시간(避難時間)에 미치는 영향(影響)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evacuation Time According to the Width of Corridor, Stair and Density of Evacuee in University Education Facilities)

  • The aims of this study are to verify the relationships of evacuee speed and affections to the evacuation time according to the width of corridor and stairs in university education facilities. To achieve these purposes, the present conditions of university education facilities were analyzed, and the evacuation experiments were executed in relation to the width of corridor and stairs. The results of this study are as follows ; (1) The deviations of numbers of residents per stair is very high, and the number and width of stairs, corridors are only depend on the minimum guidelines of building code, not considering the residents' evacuation. (2) The width of corridor and stairs are affects on the evacuation speed and time. The rate of decreasing speed is large in stairs, and also the possibility of danger is increasing depend on the speed and density.

업무용 고층건물 계단실의 보행속도에 관한 연구 (Vertical Evacuation Speed in Stairwell of a High-rise Office Building)

  • 초고층 건축물의 수직성 증가는 더 긴 최소피난시간(Required Safety Egress Time, RSET)을 요구하게 된다. 초고층건물에선 계단을 통한 수직이동이 피난경로 상의 대부분을 차지한다. 본 연구에서는 고층 건물에서 반복된 3번의 대피훈련을 시행하고, 영상분석을 통해 피난경로 선택의 변화와 계단실 내 수직 보행속도-밀도의 함수관계를 분석했다. 또한 Pathfinder 피난시뮬레이션을 이용하여 단계적 피난의 방법에 따른 총 피난시간의 변화와 실제 훈련의 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 반복적 피난훈련과 교육을 통해 특정 계단 이용률이 6.3%에서 39.5% 개선되었고, 각 피난경로별 피난시간도 단축됨을 확인하였다. 또한 계단실 내 수직 보행속도-밀도의 관계식이 기존의 연구결과와 매우 유사한 s = 1.004 ? 0.288D로 확인되었다. 단계적 피난의 방법에 따라 전층 동시피난에 비해 총 피난시간이 25% 이상 변화할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In the event of a fire in a high-rise building, rapid evacuation through the stairwell is a very important factor in rapid evacuation. However, in the event of an actual fire, most of the occupants evacuate at the same time, resulting in a stay in the stairwell, reducing the evacuation speed. In Korea, conditions for buildings are created to evacuate quickly and safely while introducing performance-oriented designs to solve these problems, but there is no research data related to the evacuation speed due to joining in the event of vertical evacuation. Therefore, in this study, by analyzing the experiment conducted at W University in Japan, the density-speed relationship when staying in the staircase room was derived, and the regression equation was derived based on the results.

Passenger evacuation simulation considering the heeling angle change during sinking

  • In order to simulate the evacuation simulation of a ship during a sinking, the slope angle change of the ship must be reflected during the simulation. In this study, the passenger evacuation simulation is implemented by continuously applying the heeling angle change during sinking. To reflect crowd behavior, the human density and the congestion algorithm were developed in this research and the walking speed experiment in the special situation occurring in the inclined ship was conducted. Evacuation simulation was carried out by applying the experimental results and the change of the walking speed according to the heeling angle of the ship. In order to verify the evacuation simulation, test items suggested by International Maritime Organization (IMO) and SAFEGUARD Validation Data Set conducted on a large Ro-PAX ferry (SGVDS 1) which performed real evacuation trial in full-scale ships were performed and the results of simulation were analyzed. Based on hypothetical scenario of when a normal evacuation command is delivered to the passengers of MV SEWOL in time, we predicted and analyzed the evacuation process and the number of casualties.

안전약자 상층 대피 지원에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Research on Stair Ascent Evacuation Support for Vulnerable People)

  • This study is aiming to compare stair ascent transportation speed and physical burden of evacuation supporters according to the types of stair ascent transportation for vulnerable people experimentally. In this study, we measured heart rate of the supporters to indicate physical burden during the transportation. The subjects of this experiment were male students, age of 20-26. Experimental conditions were the ways of stair transportation and the weight of vulnerable people. The types of stair transportation were giving a piggyback ride and carrying a wheelchair. Each experimental trial was video-recorded for measurement of ascent speed and observing supporters movement. As a result of the experiment, as for the ascent transportation speed by piggyback ride from the first floor to the fourth floor, the average speed of the light case is 31 seconds and for the heavy case is 43 seconds. When it comes to the average speed of wheelchair transportation's average speed the light case is 1 minute and 11 seconds and the heavy case is 1 minute and 49 seconds. Therefore, it was indicated that when the weight of a vulnerable people is lighter, the transportation speed is faster. The heart rates of evacuation supporters are different depending on transportation methods or individual's condition but as repetitive transportation increases, they tend to reach the maximum heart rates.

공동주택 및 오피스텔 지하층에 대한 피난 안전성 평가 (Evacuation Safety Evaluation for Apartment Complexes and Officetel under Floors)

  • Human and material damage can be reduced if the risk is evaluated by engineering analysis of fire combustion products, smoke concentration, and smoke movement speed in the event of a fire in apartment houses and officetels. In this study, a lot of research on related safety evaluation in the basement needs to be studied and reflected in design, so experimental research was conducted to analyze the flow of smoke through computer simulation and provide analysis data through evacuation safety evaluation. First of all, the five-story underground parking lot subject to simulation has a large floor area, which is advantageous for improving evacuation safety performance, but it uses temperature detectors to increase detection time and fire spread speed. Second, it was analyzed that the evacuation time at all evacuation ports did not exceed the evacuation time, and as the time from the start of evacuation to the evacuation time was 216.9% compared to the travel time, it was evaluated that the safety performance of the evacuation was secured. Third, the above simulation results are a comprehensive safety evaluation based on the non-operation of fire extinguishing facilities in the fire room to increase safety, which means that smoother evacuation safety performance can be secured by linking fire extinguishing facilities.

  • Human casualties from fires are increasing worldwide. The majority of human deaths occur during the evacuation process, as occupants panic and are unaware of the location of the fire and evacuation routes. Using an Internet of Things (IoT) sensor and reinforcement learning, we propose a method to find the safest evacuation route by considering the fire location, flame speed, occupant position, and walking conditions. The first step is detecting the fire with IoT-based devices. The second step is identifying the occupant's position via a beacon connected to the occupant's mobile phone. In the third step, the collected information, flame speed, and walking conditions are input into the reinforcement learning model to derive the optimal evacuation route. This study makes it possible to provide the safest evacuation route for individual occupants in real time. This study is expected to reduce human casualties caused by fires.

Simulation Analysis of Safety Evacuation in University Experiment Building

  • According to the actual situation of a university, the emergency evacuation simulation is modeled based on the physical sign, evacuation speed and personnel ratio using the pathfinder software.The experimental construction export utilization rate is compared with the preliminary simulation scenario. The simulation results show that the utilization rate of evacuation stairs and evacuation exits is significantly improved.The optimized solution can provide the most effective evacuation passage, and the research results can provide the basis for the rational planning and management of evacuation passage in university experiment building.

고령자의 피난안전설계를 위한 군집보행속도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Walking Speed of Crowd for Safety Evacuation Design of the Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 국내의 급격한 고령화추세와 그에 대응하기 위해 증가하고 있는 고령자시설의 피난안전설계를 위한 기초연구로서 일반인과 고령자의 군집형성시의 보행속도를 고령자의 위치와 비율에 차이를 두어 조사하였다. 조사결과 고령자가 전방에 배치되었을 때 평균 0.81m/s로 가장 감소하였으며, 고령자의 비율이 50%인 10명 배치되었을 때 0.85m/s로 가장 감소하였다. 국내의 경우 피난행통특성에 관한 연구는 전무하며 또한 실제적인 성능설계나 피난계획이 미홉한 실정이므로 향후 피난안전설계틀 위하여 고령자의 피난행동특성을 고려한 다양한 연구를 통한 DATA 확보가 시급할것으로 판단된다.
