  • The slabfrom, which is commonly used in construction sites, has drawbacks in that the workability of the workers is reduced due to their heavy weight. This study investigates the possibility of design optimization of euro form between structural stability and weight using harmonic search algorithm. The harmonic search algorithm is a metaheuristic optimization technique that obtains multiple optimal solution candidates through iterative. As a result of multiple attempts of optimization through the algorithm, it was possible to design the formwork which is structurally stable and light in weight than the existing formwork.

  • This study investigates the effect of the diameters of reinforcement bars located in an euro-form before placing concrete in a cold weather condition. The diameters of reinforcement bars with 13 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm and 32 mm were prepared for the experimental tests. Results showed that the larger the size of the diameter of the bars, the higher were the temperature drop. However, this study found that its effect on the temperature drop of the bars was insignificant.

  • The Tunnel Form(T/F) system instead of traditional euro form has been tried to reduce construction duration and to improve concrete quality in reinforced concrete wall type apartment construction. To find the relationship for concrete compressive strength between cylinder mold and slab, the different curing locations of concrete cylinder mold in the room have been investigated. The test results showed that the compressive strength of the cylinder concrete with middle-upper location in the room was most near concrete compression strength with respect to slab concrete strength.

  • This paper attempted to examine the characteristics of heat of hydration and calorific value of concrete according to the formwork material in Hot weather environment. As a result of the experiment, it was found that there were no problems such as temperature cracking and delay in hydration reaction when a synthetic resin form was used.

  • 콘크리트 타설시 시멘트의 수화에 필요한 수량은 결합수와 겔수를 포함하여 물-시멘트비 30% 이하가 된다고 알려져 있다. 그러나, 이러한 최소의 수량만으로는 작업성이 현저히 떨어지기 때문에 물-시멘트비를 일정부분 높여서 사용하여야 한다. 따라서 굳지않은 콘크리트에는 항상 10${\sim}$20%의 잉여수가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 잉여수는 콘크리트 내부에서 갇힌공기로 남게 되어 구조물의 수밀성, 투기성 및 강도 등 여러 가지 내구성을 저하시키는 요인이 되어 궁극적으로 구조물의 수명을 단축시키게 되므로, 잉여수를 제거할 수 있다면 구조물의 내구성 향상에 큰 도움이 될 것이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 타설된 굳지않은 콘크리트의 표면부 피복콘크리트의 잉여수를 제거하기 위한 투수 거푸집 시스템 개발을 위해 유로폼 투수거푸집에 대한 적용 실험을 통하여 기초적인 특성을 파악하였다. 유로폼 투수거푸집을 적용한 경우 일반 유로폼에 비해 약 16%의 강도증가율을 보였으나, 상단부로 갈수록 강도증가율은 낮게 나타났다. 초음파속도와 표면거칠기의 측면에서도 투수거푸집이 더욱 양호한 결과를 보였다.

  • The construction of economic, efficient and stable process has been a major challenge as the building are getting high-rise and biger. Low-rise buildings widely have been used Euro-form in the past. Recently, we are mainly using Al-form which can respond to chang in the various structures. we should be used in combination with Al-form and Gang-form to ensure the quality and construction process, according to the change of various elevations. Recently construction project is reguired diversification of elevation. And we apply the open balcony on the general architecture as well as public housing. Accordingly, Al-form & Gang-form has been applied the change of elevation, We further apply design and construction as proposal of issues and alternatives.

  • Euro form which constructs the present RC structures is used widely by the form method of construction of a wall type structure had much consumption of the human power and equipments by the assembly and the demolition, and the complement was required according to demerit with much leakage of cement paste by the form joint, so it developed the new pillar type form system. On the study, in order to consider the modification characteristic by lateral pressure which does the influence most important for the new developed pillar type form system performance, research of a paper manufactured a miniature wall form model, and advanced performance evaluation focusing on lateral pressure. Moreover, lateral pressure evaluation of a new style system was actually gone on through the on-site experiment about a part of wall type srutcture spot for a model experiment and its result on the foundation which is the purpose in evaluating on-site application possibility propriety at the foundation time of wall type concrete structure construction of a pillar type form system.

튜브형상에 따른 배기가스 재순환 냉각 장치 열전달 성능 평가 (Heat Transfer Analysis of EGR Cooler with Different Tube Shape)

  • With the Euro-4 regulation coming into effect, the domestic car industry is forced to look for newer options to reduce NOX in the exhaust. EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Cooler is an effective method for the reduction of NOX form a diesel engine. High efficiency, low pressure loss and compactness are desirable features of an EGR Cooler. The cooling performance of EGR depends on the shape of tubes and the location of the entrance and exit. This paper reports the computational work conducted to estimate the performance of EGR cooler with three different cross section tubes and a triangular spiral tube. Three dimensional computation results show that the triangular tube is more effective than circular and rectangular tube. The most effective geometry is a triangular spiral tube with offset inlet and outlet locations.

시공단계에서의 친환경 경량 거푸집 탄소배출량 평가 (Assessment of CO2 Emissions of Eco-friendly Lightweight Form in the Construction Process)

  • The purpose of this study is to validate the environmental performance of the 'eco-friendly lightweight form' in the construction process. Unlike existing euro form and aluminum form, the proposed form does not require form oil during the process of concrete casting and is lightweight because it is made of engineering plastic. Therefore, eco-friendly lightweight form will reduce the $CO_2$ emissions in the construction process. To verify the hypothesis, the study compared existing forms and eco-friendly light weight form's $CO_2$ emissions in each stage in construction process when using 1,000 forms and 100 times from the LCI(Life Cycle Inventory) data. The total $CO_2$ emissions of the eco-friendly light weight form were 30,487kg $CO_2$, which equated to about 58% and 20% less emissions than the euroform and aluminum form. The result of the study verified that the eco-friendly lightweight form was effectively reduced $CO_2$ emission in the construction process.
