Parallel Implementation of Nonlinear Analysis Program of PSC Frame Using MPI (MPI를 이용한 PSC 프레임 비선형해석 프로그램의 병렬화)

  • A parallel nonlinear analysis program of prestressed concrete frame is migrated on a PC cluster system and a massively parallel processing system, CRAY T3E system, using MPI. The PC cluster system is configured with Pentium Ⅲ class PCs and fast ethernet. The CRAY T3E system is composed of a set of nodes each containing one Processing Element (PE), a memory subsystem and its distributed memory interconnect network. Parallel computing algorithms are implemented on element-wise processing parts including the calculation of stiffness matrix, element stresses and determination of material states, check of material failure and calculation of unbalanced loads. Parallel performance of the migrated program is evaluated through typical numerical examples.

  • We made a HTTP server using 8 bit microprocessor. It was TMP84C015 which applied a 180 core and RTL8019AS was installed for an ethernet physical layer. Assembly language was used to optimize a performance of the MPU, to overcome an restriction of memory size and to maximize the throughput of packet using TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP and ARP protocol. We used LabVIEW to verified the each protocol on the client side.

  • 전세계적인 경기 침체에도 불구하고 벤처 캐피탈로부터 수억 달러의 투자 자금을 끌어 모아 2001년 한해 큰 주목을 받았던 메트로 이더넷 서비스 사업자들이 최근 주춤하고 있다. 메트로 이더넷 서비스 시장의 선두 주자였던 Yipes Communications가 2002년 3월 추가적인 투자 자금 모집 실패 및 재무 유동성 악화로 인하여 미국 법원에 파산 보호를 신청한 것을 비롯해, 이보다 앞서 또 다른 메트로 이더넷 서비스 사업자인 Sigma Networks도 불과 창업 1년 만에 문을 닫고 말았기 때문이다. 이로 인해 일각에서는 이제 메트로 이더넷 서비스 비즈니스 모델을 다시 제고해야 할 시점이라면서, 메트로 이더넷 서비스 사업자들도 결국 과거 CLEC들과 같은 전철을 밟게 되지는 않을까 우려하는 목소리가 높다. 이에 본 고에서는 메트로 이더넷 서비스 비즈니스 모델을 현재 시점에서 재조명하고, 최근 시장 현황 그리고 앞으로의 발전 전망에 대하여 간략하게 살펴보았다.

  • A strain gauge weight measuring instrumentation system was designed with RF sensor network facilities. In the sensor module system data conversion and a series of signal processing were totally equipped. 16 strain gauges are incoming sensors and each output of the strain gauge was amplified and filtered for proper analog signal processing. Several measuring instrumentation OP amps and general purposed OP amps were used. 12 bits A/D converters converted analog signals to digital bits and a PIC microprocessor controlled the 16 channels of strain gauges. RF RS232 modules were used for wireless communication between the PIC microprocessor and an Ethernet host far a remote sensor monitoring system development.

  • This paper's purpose is to obtain 3-Dimension information by using a monocular camera. This system embodies to obtain the height of object by using trigonometry method between a reference point of circumstance and an object. It is possible to build up system regardless of operating system, and then set it up. An comfortable USB port camera is used everywhere without the capture board. The internet can be used by using the applet and JMF everywhere. We regard the camera as a fixed. And we have developed a Real-Time JPEG/RTP Network Camera system using UDP/IP on Ethernet.

  • Multi-functional USN Gateway (MUG) is a multipurpose system combining a mesh router and a sensor gateway. The paper presents the design and implementation of the MUG system and the test-bed to verify the MUG system. MUG combines IEEE 802.11n based Wi-Fi mesh router functions and USN gateway functions. MUG supports IP sensor networks based on 6LoWPAN and non IP sensor networks based on ZigBee. MUG also provides various backhaul network interfaces including WiBro, HSDPA, and Ethernet Interfaces. We verify the feasibility of the MUG system through implementation and evaluate the performance by installing and testing several MUG systems in the test-bed.

  • 가상랜(VLAN:Virtual LAN) 기술은 멀티 캐스트 트래픽의 감소 효과가 크고, 효율적인 네트워크 보안 및 관리를 지원하므로, 대부분 최근의 상용 스위치는 가상랜 환경에서의 동작을 지원하고 있다. 가상랜 환경에서 동작하는 스위치에서 가상랜 정보를 주고받기 위하여 사용하는 프로토콜이 GARP/ GVRP(Generic Attribute Registration Protocol/GARP VALN Registration Protocol)이다. 이 프로토콜은 네트워크 환경에서 가상랜 정보가 바뀔 때마다 동적으로 각 스위치의 가상랜 정보를 설정해 줌으로써 네트워크 관리자의 수고를 덜어주며, 효율적으로 가상랜을 관리하는 방법을 지원하는 것이다. 따라서 가상랜 환경에서 동작하는 스위치는 대부분 GARP/GVRP를 내장하고 있으나, 범용 소스가 없이 생산업체 별로 자체 구현한 GARP/GVRP를 각각의 스위치에 탑재하고 있다. 본 논문은 이렇게 가상랜 환경을 지원하는 스위치에 필수적인 프로토콜인 GARP/GVRP를 리눅스 커널에 삽입 가능한 모듈 형태로 개발하였다. 또 개발한 모듈을 기가빗 이더넷 스위치(Gigabit Ethernet Switch)에 이식된 리눅스 커널에 삽입. 동작시키고 공인된 테스트 집합을 이용하여 프로토콜이 정확하게 동작함을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, a solution of network management system for power plant was introduced. In conventional systems, power installations use serial communication or MODEM for Management. In this case, it has a weak point in distance and speed. To solve these problems, the manage system based on Ethernet was developed. In order to implement, SNMP which is standard NMS of LAN was adapted, agent board and manager program for SNMP were developed.

  • The distributed measurement and control system require technology to solve complex synchronization problem among distributed devices. It can be solved by using IEEE Standard for a Precision Clock Synchronization Protocol for Networked Measurement and Control Systems to synchronize real-time clocks incorporated within each component of the system. In this paper, we implemented the IEEE 1588v2 PTP emulator on BlueScope BL6000A using a delay request-response mechanism to measure clock synchronization.

  • This paper tried to analyze the collection and management method of shop-floor information for development of digital framework in u-manufacturing. In detail, the shop-floor information collection method through the direct communication with manufacturing devices using network Including RS-232C/422, field bus and ethernet is analyzed and proposed. In case the direct communication is impossible, the information collection method through additional sensors or data acquisition units is analyzed and proposed. Moreover, the collection method through bar code reader or touch screen of operators is analyzed and proposed to act up to machine to man/mobile/machine.
