Following the Fukushima accident, portable equipment employed as accident mitigating systems have been installed and operated to reduce core damage and large early release frequencies. In addition, the establishment of an accident management strategy has gained importance. This study investigated the current status of portable equipment including the international portable equipment FLEX (diverse and flexible coping strategies), and domestic portable equipment multi-barrier accident coping strategy (MACST). Research on optimal utilization of MACST remains insufficient. As a preliminary study for establishing an optimal strategy, sensitivity studies were conducted to facilitate the priority of use on portable equipment, number of portable equipment, and dependency of operator actions based on a multi-unit probabilistic safety assessment model. The results revealed the conditions that reduced the multi-unit and site conditional core damage probabilities, indicating the optimal strategy of MACST. The results of this study can be used as a reference for establishing an optimal strategy that utilizes domestic safety equipment in the future.

For the efficient establishment of a channel strategy for banks, this study aims to propose a channel model by classifying channels into types, and carrying out a correspondence analysis per type. A survey of bankers was conducted to visualize categorical data and create a positioning map. As a result, first, 12 banking channels were classified into 4 types based on business processing subjects and places, which were then, further grouped into the categories of full-banking and self-banking. Second, a correspondence analysis according to the classified types was carried out, and it was found that the branch-type is suitable for product description and customer management, while the banking-type is suitable for efficient business processing without time and space constraints. Furthermore, the analysis also showed that the machine-type and banking-type are inappropriate for customer management, and the mobility-type demonstrates low operational effectiveness due to a lack of awareness. The aforementioned findings suggest the need for a hybrid convergence channel that reflects the characteristics of banking tasks and fills in the gaps between the different channels. Third, a channel model was derived by adding a common area to the 2×2 model consisting of the business processing subjects and places. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it examines the diversification of channels and factors in the division of roles by channel type based on customers' banking channel selection factors, and presents basic research findings for future channel strategy establishment and efficient channel operation.

This thesis is designed to discuss the development of the Korean Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and establish a development strategy for the future. The development has been achieved with the enthusiasm and interest of physical therapists from all over the country over the past 10 years since the establishment and the Academy has been receiving attention from the medical part. The Korean Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy will develop a variety of training programs for the research and development of orthopedic manual therapy and will establish a development strategy and master plan for the future in order to lay a foundation for orthopedic manual therapy.

The system analysis for Korean nuclear power reactor option is made on the basis of reliability, cost minimization, finite uranium resource availability and nuclear engineering manpower supply constraints. The reference reactor scenarios are developed considering the future electricity demand, nuclear share, current nuclear power plant standardization program and manufacturing capacity. The levelized power generation cost, uranium requirement and nuclear engineering professionals demand are estimated for each reference reactor scenarios and nuclear fuel cycle options from the year 1990 up to the year 2030. Based on the outcomes of the analysis, uranium resource utilization, reliability and nuclear engineering manpower requirements are sensitive to the nuclear reactor strategy and associated fuel cycle whereas the system cost is not. APWR, CANDU longrightarrow FBR strategy is to be the best option for Korea. However, APWR, CANDU longrightarrow Passive Safe Reactor(PSR）longrightarrowFBR strategy should be also considered as a contingency for growing national concerns on nuclear safety and public acceptance deterioration in the future. FBR development and establishment of related fuel cycle should be started as soon as possible considering the uranium shortage anticipated between 2007 and 2032. It should be noted that the increasing use of nuclear energy to minimize the greenhouse effects in the early 21st century would accelerate the uranium resource depletion. The study also concludes that the current level of nuclear engineering professionals employment is not sufficient until 2010 for the establishment of nuclear infrastructure.

Foci of this thesis arc an estimation of willingness to pay and an establishment of green marketing strategics for environment-friendly agricultural products(EFAR). Estimations of willingness to pay for grain, vegetables, fruit and processed food-stuffs arc respectively 20.6%, 20.2%, 19.3% and 17.2% higher than agricultural products produced by conventional farming method. And a green mark6ting mix for EFAP is as follows; Erst, a product strategy focuses on producing safe and high-quality foods by environment-friendly agriculture(EFA) to point to consumer’s health and desire for environmental preservation. Second, in a price strategy, the balance of three factors should be kept, namely the environmental value the true quality as food materials and the price of EFAP. Third, a place strategy is to reduce waste matters, resource and energy uses in marketing chain, and to simplify marketing channels. Also, it is necessary to choose the marketing channel for price discrimination. Fourth, a promotion strategy make use of programs that emphasize the multi-function of EFA.

In this study, we offered a way that is to make warehouse industry clustered in Incheon port for getting competitive and high end value added activities like advanced port logistics center considering trend that is changing functions of port and importance of port-hinterland. For this, we studied the existing research about port cluster, the present condition of warehouse industry in Incheon port and importance of value-added logistics activities. Also, we offered needs to build a high value-added and integrated logistics center by examples of advanced port logistics center in Singapore, Netherlands(Rotterdam) and Hongkong. We get the questionnaires for gathering ideas of port logistics industry about to set integrated logistics centers by strategy we offered that is making warehouse logistics clustered.

To establish a management strategy of sediment-related disasters for adaptation to climate change, it is necessary to 1) understand the specific details and problems about the present status, 2) systematize related technologies by using exact numerical values obtained from physically-based analysis, and 3) ensure the basic guidelines are applied to field elastically. To achieve these successfully, detailed guidelines are required by scientifically considering the utilization and impact of related technology on the field. Here, detailed guidelines should include 1) the development of a basic plan, 2) enhancement of relevant technical instructions, 3) establishment of survey and inspection methods, 4) procedure of erosion control works in urban living sphere, and 5) proactive countermeasures against sediment-related disaster caused by earthquakes.

The purpose of this study is to propose strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions on urban areas. This study is made up GHG emission estimation and emission prospect methods, setting of GHG reduction target, GHG reduction plan formulation and feasibility assessment. The significance of this study is as follows. First, this study provides the local government for the overall frame of low carbon strategies. Second, this study contribute to establishment of GHG emission reduction strategies in the local autonomy by providing GHG emission estimation and setting reduction target which is essential elements of reduction strategy. Third, we organize a reduction element for low carbon city embodiment and showed the way to assessment the reduction effect of these elements quantitatively.
