  • In this paper, some new generalized discrete Halanay inequalities are established. On the basis of these new established inequalities, we obtain the attracting set and the global asymptotic stability of the nonlinear discrete systems. Our results established here extend the main results in [R. P. Agarwal, Y. H. Kim, and S. K. Sen, New discrete Halanay inequalities: stability of difference equations, Commun. Appl. Anal. 12 (2008), no. 1, 83-90] and [S. Udpin and P. Niamsup, New discrete type inequalities and global stability of nonlinear difference equations, Appl. Math. Lett. 22 (2009), no. 6, 856-859].

  • The result of all terrors causes enormous damage. In order to prevent this damage in advance and find a prompt provision after terror, we investigated a safety measure against terror on the assumption that the fire in Daegu central subway is a subway terror. The followings are the safety measures against terror based on an underground space. Frist, training systems have to be established to provide against a terror. Second, People's consciousness about safety from a terror, centering on early education, has to be raised. Third, the provisions related with underground tunnel have to be established so that people can take shelter in underground tunnel areas. Fourth, CCTV has to be established in the guest rooms of the electric motor cars. Last, cooperative systems among related organizations have to be constructed, and the networks of the organizations have to be established so that they can cope with an accident.

  • Speech recognition performance depends on various factors. One of the factors is the characteristic and established distance of a microphone which is used when speech data is collected. Thus, in the present experiment speech databases for tests are created through the type and established distance of a microphone. Then, acoustic models are built based on these databases, and each of the acoustic models is assessed by the data to determine recognition performance depending on various microphones and established microphone distances.

  • Turfgrass management had not been recognized as the subject to research until the social demand for turfgrass increased. This study was carried out to compare the effects of several complete fertilizers and ureaform(UF) with those of traditional fertilizers used for general agriculture. Complete fertilizers used in this study include Jandibiryo, Chojikwanri, Wonyebokbi and 18 - 18 - 18. Three exteriments were conducted in the established zoysiagrass field (over 5 years), in the recently established zoysiagrass field(1 years), and in the pots using artificially mixed media. In the established zoysiagrass, UF, Wonyebokbi, Chojikwanri and 18 - 18 - 18 resulted in higher growth rate, while Chojikkwanri and Jandibiryo showed better performance in the recently established zoysiagrass. Jandibiryo resulted in higher growth rate of zoysiagrass with the artificially mixed soil which is relatively infertile. Righer growth rates were maintained longer with UF, Jandidiryo, Chojikwanri than urea 18-18-18 and Wonyebokbi. Wonyebokbi had the characteristics of producing more stolons and rhyzomes than the other fertilizers.

  • Purpose: There is an issue in applying various principles introduced in established Korean medical classics to "Pharmaceuticals Approval, Notification and Review" of "herbal medicinal preparations" and "new drugs from natural products" that are used for western forms of medical treatment. Thus, an analysis of the origin, purpose, and application of established Korean medical classics in the Korean Pharmaceutical Affairs Act is essential. Methods: We collected data regarding the origin, purpose, and application of established Korean medical classics in the Korean Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, and classified them by periodical change and subjects. Results: Established Korean medical classics are applied as follows: 1) as criteria for Korean medicine distributors' sales of mixed herbal drugs (Pharmaceutical Affairs Act; since 1953), 2) as official compendiums for pharmacists' preparation of Korean medicine (Ministry of Health and Welfare's authoritative interpretation; from early 1970s to 1993), 3) as standards for oriental pharmacists' quality measurement of preparations (notification of the Ministry of Health and Welfare; since 1995), 4) as criteria for "Pharmaceuticals Approval, Notification and Review" of herbal medicinal preparations and crude drug preparations (notifications regarding drug approval process by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety; since 1978), and 5) as standards for the quality of materials of health functional food (from 2004 to 2011). Conclusion: The application of Korean medical classics has been closely related with the change of the laws, regulations, and systems that are relevant to Korean medicine, and it seems to be more favorable for pharmacists than oriental pharmacists. Meanwhile, regulations that apply prescriptions that are recorded in Korean medical classics - dosage, indications, and preparation methods - as criteria for the approval of crude drug preparations for western medical treatment should be abolished.

  • From all possible chinese medical literatures, I studied the history of chinese pediatrics by dividing into Chunqiu Zhanguo, QinHan dynasties, LiangJin, SuiTang five dynasties, Song Dynasty, Jin and Yuan dynasties, Ming Qing dynasties. The conclusions are summarized as followings 1. The mentions related with pediatrics existed already in Yan ruins turtle shell letters, and 〈Yellow Emperor's classic of internal medicine> in Chunqiu Zhanguo time formed the system of medicine, established the theoretical foundation. 2. Chang Ji established the system of diagnosis and treatment based on overall analysis of symptoms and signs in , and later pediatricians commonly applied his prescriptions to the febrile diseases. 3. The period from LiangJin to SuiTang, Pediatrics was established as special department then in , Chao Yuanfang stated the etiology, pathogenesis, symptomatology of pediatric diseases. 4. In Song dynasty. pediatric 4 major, symptoms that had been mentioned from SuiTang dynasties, were clearly established, pediatrical special books were published, and written by Qian Yi who is considered as the founder of chinese pediatrics, established the foundation of pediatrical division formation in distinction from adult fields. 5. In Jin and Yuan dynasties, four eminent physicians established the actual relationship between the theories and practical applications and insisted various and creative theories based on the classical medicine, for example, the theory that fire and heat in the body was the main cause of diseases of Liu Wansu purgation theory of Zhang Congzheng, qi regulating theory of Liu Gao, ministerial fire theory and the theory that yang is ever in excess while Yin is ever deficient of Zhu Zhenheng, etc, and they applied those theories to pediatrical various sides. 6, In Ming Qing dynasties, pediatrical specialists and pediatrical publications had increased, eg, father and son Xue Kai Xue Ji, Wan Quan, Lu Bai-si, etc in Ming dynasty, Ye Gui, Chen Fuzheng, Xia Ding, etc in Qing dynasty were famous as pediatricians. Specially, the doctrine of epidemic febrile diseases at that time showed prominent effects to children's epidemic febrile diseases.

  • Objectives: Dry socket may occur secondary to the removal of any tooth. However, most dry socket cases develop in the third molar region. Dry socket is multifactorial in nature and has been treated using various modalities with varying success rates. This study assessed the efficacy of platelet rich fibrin (PRF) in established dry socket. Materials and Methods: Ten patients of either sex aged from 41 to 64 years with established dry socket according to established criteria were treated using PRF. Evaluation was performed by observing the reduction of pain using visual analogue scale, analgesic tablet use over the follow-up period, and healing parameters. Results: Pain was reduced on the first day in all patients with decreased analgesic use. Pain was drastically reduced during follow-up on the first, second, third, and seventh days with a fall in pain score of 0 to 1 after the first day alone. The pain scores of all patients decreased to 1 by the first day except in one patient, and the scores decreased to 0 in all patients after 48 hours. Total analgesic intake ranged from 2 to 6 tablets (aceclofenac 100 mg per tablet) over the follow-up period of 7 days. Healing was satisfactory in all patients by the end of the seventh day. Conclusion: PRF showed early pain reduction in established dry socket with minimal analgesic intake. No patients had allergic reactions to PRF as it is derived from the patient's own blood. PRF showed good wound healing. Our study suggests that PRF should be considered as a treatment modality for established dry socket.

  • 1. "Regulation for about kind of formularies of Korean traditional herbaland preparation method"(Ministry of Health and Welfare No. 1995-15, 95. 3. 15) and "Regulation for review safety and efficacy of drugs. Article 2. 1 Clause 10." should revise "Sasanguihak(四象醫學)" by "Donguisusebowon(東醫壽世保元)" that is the name of book. 2. "Regulation for review safety and efficacy of drugs. Article 2. 1 Clause 10." was defining 'The 11 established formularies of Korean traditional herbal medicine volumes' "Donguisusebowon" that is defined as "The 11 established formularies of Korean traditional herbal medicine volumes" is "Susebowon(壽世保元)" that the Ming period Gong jung-hyun writes. Otherwise, mistake that "Donguisusebowon" of Lee Jema(李濟馬) was recorded 2 times occurs. Therefore, "Susebowon" of "The 11 established formularies of Korean traditional herbal medicine volumes" is that "Susebowon" of the Ming period Gong Jung-hyun writes 3. "yaksungga(藥性歌)" is nonbook in "The 11 established formularies of Korean traditional herbal medicine volumes" and should be erase. Because basis is ambiguous. 4. "The 11 established formularies of Korean traditional herbal medicine volumes" must revise by 10 kinds in "Regulation for about kind of formularies of Korean traditional herbaland preparation method" and "Regulation for review safety and efficacy of drugs. Article 2." The kinds should be revised by "Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑)", "jejungsinpyeon(濟衆新編)", "Euihakipmoon(醫學入門)", "kyungakjeonse(景岳全書)", "Susebowon", "Bonchogangmok(本草鋼目)", "Bangyakhappyeon(方樂合編)", "Hyangyakjipseongbang(鄕樂集成方)", "Gwangjebigeup" and "Donguisusebowon".
