  • Two slaughter experiments were conducted to determine the effects of rumen escape starch, by altering dietary starch concentration and corn particle size, on ${\alpha}$-amylase activity in the pancreas and the small intestinal digesta of lambs. In experiment 1, 18 wether lambs (28.5${\pm}$1.6 kg) were fed low, medium or high starch diets for 35 d and slaughtered. Dietary starch concentrations linearly increased rumen escape starch (p<0.05). Pancreatic ${\alpha}$-amylase activity was lower (p<0.05) in lambs fed the low starch diet. When expressed per gram of digesta, ${\alpha}$-amylase activity was lower in lambs fed the low starch diet. However, expressed as total activity, ${\alpha}$-amylase in the digesta was greater in lambs fed the medium starch diet. In experiment 2, 12 wether lambs (23.5${\pm}$0.3 kg) were fed diets with finely cracked corn, coarsely cracked corn and whole corn. These dietary treatments continued for 35 d before tissue collection. Rumen escape starch increased with increasing corn particle size (p<0.05). ${\alpha}$-amylase activity in the pancreas and the small intestinal digesta was significantly greater (p<0.05) in lambs fed the coarsely cracked corn. These data suggest that increasing rumen escape starch results in a quadratic increase in total ${\alpha}$-amylase activity in the pancreas and the small intestinal digesta. Maximum ${\alpha}$-amylase activity is reached when rumen escape starch is about 100-120 g/d in 25-30 kg lambs.

  • Since enforcement of the anti-prostitution law, in spite of systematic setting helping escape prostitution of the women who engage in prostitution that they have had the will lasting prostitution. Therefore, this study aimed to devise intervention plan helping their escape prostitution and return to social by examining individual and structural factor obstructing their escape prostitution The data were collected through the in-depth interview and text. And these were analysed according to coding, constitution of concept, matching, construction of explanation on the phenomenon. The nine women who engaging in prostitution were participated in this study. As a result of the data analysis, 46 concepts and 10 categories were generated. By classification of individual and structural factor, the outcomes of an interpretation were as follows: The cause obstructing Prostitutes' escape prostitution were (1) distrust on the policy of the government, (2) life-script was made by reaction-formation, (3) predestined resignation caused by anxiety, (4) body as capital goods, and (5) the commensal model with pimp. Based on this result, we proposed practical and political alternative plans for prostitutes.

  • For the escape from a maze, the cooperative method by robot swarm was proposed in this paper. The robots can freely move by collecting essential data and making a decision in the use of sensors; however, a central control system is required to organize all robots for the escape from the maze. The robots explore new mazes and then send the information to the system for analyzing and mapping the escaping route. Three issues were considered as follows for the effective escape by multiple robots from the mazes in this paper. In the first, the mazes began to divide and secondly, dead-ends should be blocked. Finally, after the first arrivals at the destination, a shortcut should be provided for rapid escaping from the maze. The parallel-escape algorithms were applied to the different size of mazes, so that robot swarm can effectively get away the mazes.

  • In case of plant accident, the most important measures that field operators, control-room operators and fire fighters must take are the escape from and going into the accident sites. These two different actions are reverse directional moving actions. By training operators and fire fighters with counter-accident path taking measurements, we can prevent the small accidents from becoming large-scale accidents, and can take efficient measurements in case of actual plant accidents. Out of necessities of path-taking training, in this research, we developed the escape and rescue path-taking method for plant accident response training. We can calculate the escape and rescue routes from a operator or fire fighter's current location as of accident happening and provide route data which in turn can be used as the safety training scenario. We expect this path-taking method can enhance the effectiveness and reality of escape and rescue training scenarios.

  • When a fire breaks out, it is frequent that large sized miserable death is happened by seriousness of poisonous gas and peculiarity of space because the building construction is recently more complex and diverse. So early countermeasure in preparation for evacuation escape linked directly with a loss of lives is pressing. Because escape light that mark fixing one-way of existing way is not efficiently extricated refugees from dangers when a fire breaks out, construction of system that can extricate refugees from dangers and suppress early a fire by grasping correctly fire point is required urgently. When a fire breaks out, all escape lights connected with fire sensor and reception group which have ill aiming in these point will lead people to safe emergency entrance of opposite direction of place that a fire is broken out after being calculated the direction and speed of flame and smoke. There is the purpose of my research in development of artificial intelligent directional escape light that can mark direction to most suitable pull-out and assist in early extinguishing a fire.

  • Based on the theory of use and satisfaction, this study investigated the strength of TikTok usage motives (entertainment, information-seeking, interaction, self-expression, and escape) and the effect of each motive on users' adherence (frequency of use, time of use). investigated. After conducting a survey on TikTok Chinese users and removing insincere answers, 101 survey results were analyzed. The analysis results are as follows: First, the intensity of motivation for using TikTok was in the following order: entertainment-seeking, information-seeking, interaction, self-expression, and escape. Among them, the motives of pursuit of entertainment and escape were higher in females than in males. And the motives of pursuit of entertainment and escape were higher in the case of women than in the case of men. Second, as a result of analyzing the effect on user adhesion, the influence of the users' entertainment pursuit motive, interaction motive, and escape motive was significant for the frequency of use, and the influence of interaction was high. Third, the influence of entertainment-seeking motives and escape motives was found to be significant for use time. This means that users often use TikTok for entertainment, interaction, and escapism, and longer TikTok usage time for entertainment or escapism.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine whether social support produced any mediating effects when needy single mothers' sense of social exclusion affected their own will to escape poverty. The subjects in this study were 376 poor single mothers who resided in the cities of Busan, Gimhae and Yangsan and who were in their 20s to 60s. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the single mothers who lived in poverty were given less social support when they felt more excluded in the dimensions of health, relationships, production, consumption, political participation and housing. Second, the needy single mothers had a more will to escape poverty when more social support was provided and less will to escape poverty when they felt more excluded in the dimensions of health, relationships, production, consumption, political participation and housing. Third, social support produced mediating effects when social exclusion affected the will to escape poverty. The findings of the study suggest that in order to relieve needy single mothers' sense of social exclusion and bolster their will to escape poverty, formal social support from the nation and local community and informal social support from neighbors, friends and relatives should both be strengthened.

  • There have been the current controversy over effectiveness of the pressurized smoke control systems, which are installed within escape shaft to provide 'smoke-free' access for escaping peoples. Therefore, many effective measures were given in this paper by means of the production of a design guide for various types of escape routes used in domestic buildings. The solutions were established on basis of both an investigating current door closing device application in existing facilities and global standardization for pressurized smoke control system, especially in British Standard. Finally, the design guidance for open door air velocity with introduction to three door protection clauses was presented on the basis of consideration of the safety and economical factor,
