A Study on the Corrosion of Corrugated Steel Structures in Buried Environment (매설 환경에 따른 파형강 구조물의 부식 특성 연구)

  • In this research, multiple corrosion factors of buried environments were measured in order to establish a formula for the corrosion character of corrugated steel structures in domestic environments. By substituting corrosion factors for each predicting formula, the durable lifetime was measured, and the measured lifetime was compared with the estimated lifetime by applying existing thickness-measuring techniques. A new usage standard was proposed with these results, in order to create the conclusion below. There are known differences in the soil factors used as variables in estimating the duration caused by the seasonal effects of rainfall and temperature. Comparing the durable lifetime estimated by each predicting formula, the findings show that the California technique is conservative. This study demonstrates that the error range of the AISI technique, which is mostly used as a duration technique, is a very narrow predicting technique as compared with many other countries. Considering that there is on average, a 13% error margin in this study, a proposed safety factor of 0.87 could be used to more accurately predict the duration. The laying time in the California technique is not longer than the whole durability, and as a result, this error margin exists. It is concluded that this study on the open area has been overdue. Based on these findings, it's proposed that this error margin should be applied to the domestic environment through periodic observation, in order to establish the predicting techniques of durable lifetime.

  • Pilots have used checklist as a valuable tool to improve aviation safety and to reduce human error. A checklist however is too complex for a student pilot to use with less flight experience or time than a commercial pilot. It is agreed upon such complex checklist be a factor to threaten aviation safety for student pilots. This paper has focused on a checklist by dividing it into a couple of basic three flight procedures. Making exploratory case study of student pilots, researchers could analyze the correlation between checklist factors and those of human errors. First of all, it was necessary for student pilots to be educated professional knowledge regarding aircraft structures and engines to perform preflight inspection reducing human errors. Moreover it was recommended student pilots as well as maintenance crew confirm checklist together to enhance aviation safety.

  • The acceleration of the performance of machine tools influences the development of the semi-conductor and optical technology as the development of NC and measurement technology. We can mention that a traction role of the acceleration for the development like that depends on the development of the measurement technics Stylus instrument method, STM, SEM, Laser interferometer method which are used for measuring the quasi-static error of machine tools. Because the measurement has been done to unload condition without considering of mechanical stiffness in the case of machining center as we measure the quasi-static error of machine tools on general studies, people who works on the spot has many problems on the data value. Therefor we will help working more accurately on the spot by measuring, analyzing, displaying the deflection of the table and support shaft when we load on the table and the support shaft of machining center using laser interferometer. Also we try to settle new conception of the measurement method and more accurate grasp of the deflection tendency by verifing the tendency of the error measured through the comparison of the simulated error using ANSYS, a common finite element analysis program, which is able to measure heat deformation, material deformation, and error resulted form this study.

Also there are no satisfiable results until now in spite of many studys about this because the deflections of the table and the shaft supporting a workpiece influence, influence the accuracy of the table and shaft supporting a workpiece influence the accuracy of the workpiece. And there is doubt about the inspection method of measured error. In this paper Therefor we will help working more accurately on the spot by measuring analyzing displaying the defoec-tion of the table and support shaft when we load on the table and the support shaft of machining center using laser interfer-ometer.   • Recently, the initiation of outside diameter stress corrosion cracking (ODSCC) at the tube support plate region of domestic steam generators (SG) with Alloy600 HTMA tubes has been increasing. As a result, SGs with Alloy600 HTMA tubes must be replaced early or are scheduled to be replaced prior to their designed lifetime. ODSCC is one of the biggest threats to the integrity of SG tubes. Therefore, the accurate evaluation of tube integrity to determine ODSCC is needed. Eddy current testing (ECT) is conducted periodically, and its results could be input as parameters for evaluating the integrity of SG tubes. The reliability of an ECT inspection system depends on the performance of the inspection technique and abilty of the analyst. The detection probability and ECT sizing error of degradation are considered to be the performance indices of a nondestructive evaluation (NDE) system. This paper introduces an optimized evaluation method for ECT, as well as the sizing error, including the analyst performance. This study was based on the results of a round robin program in which 10 inspection analysts from 5 different companies participated. The analysis of ECT sizing results was performed using a linear regression model relating the true defect size data to the measured ECT size data.

Inspection System for The Metal Mask (Metal Mask 검사시스템)

  • We develop an experimental system to inspect a metal mask and, in this paper, introduce its inspection algorithm. This system is composed of an ASC(Area Scan Camera) and a belt type xy-table. The whole area of the metal mask is divided into several inspection blocks. The area of each block is equal to FOV(Field of View). For each block, the camera image is compared to the reference image. The reference image is made by gerber file. The rotation angle of the metal mask is calculated through the linear equation that is substituted two end points of horizontal boundary of a specific hole in a camera image. To calculate the position error caused by the belt type xy-table, HT(Hough-Transform) using distances among the holes in two images is used. The center of the reference image is moved as much as the calculated Position error to be coincided with the camera image. The information of holes in each image, such as centroid, size, width and height, are calculated through labeling. Whether a holes is mado correctly by laser machine or not, is judged by comparing the centroid and the size of hole in each image. Finally, we build the experimental system and apply this algorithm.

  • In OLED panel production process, it is necessary to cut a part of protective film as a preprocess for lighting inspection. The current method is to recognize only the fiducial mark of the cut-out panel. Bare Glass Cutting does not compensate for machining cumulative tolerances. Even though process defects still occur, it is necessary to develop technology to solve this problem because only the Align Mark of the panel that has already been cut is used as the reference point for alignment. There is a lot of defective lighting during panel lighting test because the correct protective film is not cut on the panel power and signal application pad position. In laser cutting process to remove the polarizing film / protective film / TSP film of OLED panel, laser processing is not performed immediately after the panel alignment based on the alignment mark only. Therefore, in this paper, we performed real time inspection which minimizes the mechanism tolerance by correcting the laser cutting path of the protective film in real time using Machine Vision. We have studied calibration algorithm of Vision Software coordinate system and real image coordinate system to minimize inspection resolution and position detection error and edge detection algorithm to accurately measure edge of panel.
