  • Product of technology developed in this study is an external interface for controlling the equipment of pendant key remote control system circuit board, and it is used in the electronic component test equipment system. Main control system module is in the role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer engineers to control the inspection equipment. The pentane-key interface module to its role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer for the engineer to control the inspection equipment. Development of the control system can be expected in the configuration of a system for efficient and accurate inspection of high-precision parts.

  • The DC high speed circuit breaker used in Seoul Metro for line no.1.2 is Japan HITACHI and FUJI breaker, and for line no.3.4 is Whipp & Bourne MM74 breaker from UK. The years that each breakers made are 1973(line no.1), 1984(line no.3.4), So that equipments are superannuated. Nowday the for equipment exchanging is executing, equipment for exchanging were used the Secheron breaker from Swiss. but now the Intec breaker made in Korea is used. The RTU of supervisory control and data acquisition system have the capabilities that can observe, control and work the installation efficiently. In this paper, as summarizing the solving process of problem that happened the SCADA system when old-equipment exchange and concerned point for logical supervision and control of reservation factors and equipment, I'll provide the direction that can do receiving-process of control-equipment, progressed with the exchange of old-electronic equipment.

  • In this study, to prevent accidents in underground facilities during excavation, we developed a Lv.3 automated control system that can be configured as an electronic control system without changing the existing hydraulic system in a general excavator and utilized digital map information of underground facilities. We aimed to develop a strategy to prevent accidents caused by operator error. To implement this, a real-time excavator bucket end position recognition and control system was developed through angle measurement of the boom, arm, and bucket using an electronic joystick, RTK-GPS, and angle sensors. In addition, excavators are large, machine-based equipment, and it is difficult to control overshoot due to inertia with feedback control using position recognition information of the bucket tip. Therefore, feed-forward control is used to calculate the moving speed of the bucket tip in real-time to determine the target position. We developed a technology that can converge and verified the performance of the developed system through actual vehicle installation and field tests.

  • 본 논문은 무인교통 단속장비 시스템을 개선하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 기존 무인교통 단속장비에 대하여 개선이 필요한 부분을 정리하고 최신 기술을 적용하여 개선할 수 있는 사항들을 도출하였다. 또한 도출된 개선 사항을 반영하여 새로운 무인교통 단속장비의 설계 및 구현방안을 제시하고자 한다. 주요 개선사항으로서 무인교통 단속장비의 하우징 소재 변경, 장비구성의 간소화, 무게의 경량화와 소프트웨어로 단속용도 변경이 가능하도록 설계 하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 개선된 무인교통 단속장비의 객관적 성능을 평가하기 위하여 공인인증기관에 의뢰하여 KC 인증 및 내구성 시험을 통한 장비의 신뢰도를 확보하였다. 기존 무인교통 단속장비와 공사기간 및 설치비용 등을 비교 평가하여 앞으로 무인교통 단속장비 시장성 확보의 당위성을 제시하고자 한다.

소형 굴삭기의 원격제어를 위한 주행 알고리즘 및 통신특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Driving Algorithm and Communication Characteristics for Remote Control of Mini Excavator)

  • Indoor construction site such as building demolition sites, tunnel, vinyl house, and cattle shed are subject to various risk factors such as falling stones, soot and bad odors. However, most of the mini excavators have no cabin that can protect the driver from such risk factors. Therefore, researches on remote control technology of construction equipment are actively conducted as a method for protecting the driver from the risk factors occurring in the working environment. For effective remote control, it is necessary to be able to control the travelling and work using a portable small transmitter. However, due to the limitation of the size of the transmitter, complex operation control is required to control two or more actuators with a single joystick. Also, it is essential to check how remote control characteristics change in various environments such as distance, signal strength, obstacle. Therefore, in this study, an algorithm that can control two actuators simultaneously with a single joystick signal was developed, and a communication method suitable for indoor and outdoor mini construction equipment by analyzing experimentally how the remote control characteristics vary according to various work environments and telecommunication methods proposed.

  • This paper concerns 3-D graphical modeling and simulation techniques for design and control of automated equipment for construction and facility maintenance. A case study on the use of 3-D graphics techniques for developing a power plant maintenance robot is presented. By simulating equipment operation within the 3-D geometry models of the work environment the environment design was improved. The 3-D graphical models of the equipment and the work environment were further utilized for the control of the robot from a remote distance. By presenting the real-time updated equipment configuration and the work environment to the operator, the graphical model-based equipment control system helped the operator overcome the problems associated with spatial perception. The collision between the robot and the plant structures was also avoided based the real-time analysis of the dynamically updated graphical models.

  • Automation ensures accurate and well-organized container transportation in container terminals. This paper addresses operational issues such as equipment scheduling and the coordination between various pieces of equipment in a rail-based automated container terminal. Containers are relayed using multiple types of equipment from road trucks to a vessel and vice versa. Therefore, handshaking is required during a container transfer between different pieces of equipment. Synchronization between the schedules of all the equipment is important to reduce equipment waiting times and the time required for transporting containers, which results in a short turnaround time for a vessel. This paper proposes an integrated control system with the objective of synchronizing the operations of different types of equipment, provides a list of decisions to be made by the control module of each type of equipment, and shows all the required information transfers between control modules. A scheme for the integrated scheduling of multiple types of equipment is proposed. The decisions made by each control module in a real-time fashion are listed with detailed explanations, and the information transfer between managers in a real-time situation at the proposed terminal is described.

칠러장비의 온도제어를 위한 최적 PID 제어 (Optimal PID Control for Temperature Control of Chiller Equipment)

  • The demand for chiller equipment that keeps each machine at a constant temperature to maintain the best possible condition is growing rapidly. PID (Proportional Integral Derivation) control is a popular temperature control method. The error, which is the difference between the desired target value and the current system output value, is calculated and used as an input to the system using a proportional, integrator, and differentiator. Through such a closed-loop configuration, a desired final output value of the system can be reached using only the target value and the feedback signal. Furthermore, various temperature control methods have been devised as the control performance of various high-performance equipment becomes important. Therefore, it is necessary to design for accurate data-driven temperature control for chiller equipment. In this research, support vector regression is applied to the classic PID control for accurate temperature control. Simulated annealing is applied to find optimal PID parameters. The results of the proposed control method show fast and effective control performance for chiller equipment.

  • The variable-frequency type water supply equipment, which adopts the variable-voltage and variable-frequency converter(VVVF converter) to govern automatically the rotating speed of a pump, can save 15-20% of power, as compared with a throttle-controlled pump device or an airpressurized water supply equipment, and is finding a wide application. However, it still has some disadvantages : greater pressure fluctuations during switching over the pump and prolonged low-effeciency running of the pump in the case of small consumption of water. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the equipment to the fire water supply system where the water should not be put into use unless a fire takes place, and the water pressure in pipelines should permanently remain constant. This paper introduces the automatic regulation principle of the variable-frequency type air-pressurized water supply equipment (hereafter referred to as simply BFQS equipment) for dual purposes of daily life and fire control, which combined both technologies of speed governing by a converter and air-pressurized water supplying, then discusses some problems related to automatic control, and finally gives the experimental results of an embodiment-BPQS-100-50 water supply equipment.

항공탑재 SAR 시스템 및 통제장치 시험을 위한 통합시험장비 개발 (Development of Integrated Test Equipment for Airborne SAR System and Control Unit)

  • 본 논문에서는 항공탑재 SAR 시스템 및 통제장치 시험을 위한 통합시험장비(SCTE: System and Control unit Test Equipment)에 대하여 기술한다. SCTE는 구성 기능의 모듈화를 통하여 시험장비의 재활용성을 높였으며, script 기반 수행, 보고서 작성 기능 등 시험의 자동화 및 편의성을 높이도록 설계되었다. 또한 SCTE는 항법데이터 모의 기능을 통하여 다양한 비행 환경에 대하여 시험을 수행할 수 있도록 개발되었다. 본 논문은 SCTE의 개발 요구사항, H/W 및 S/W 설계 결과, 개발 결과 및 통제장치와 시스템과의 연동 시험결과를 기술한다.
