대용량 사이리스터 특성평가 장비의 설계 및 제작 (Design of Characteristics Test Equipment for a Large Capacity Thyristor)

  • Recently, application area of the thyristor is extends to power conversion systems, such as HVDC, BTB, SVC and FACTS. Therefore, reliability diagnostic technique on thyristor is needed to obtain stability and maintenance of power conversion systems. To measure the characteristics of the thyristor, test equipments which based on IEC 747-6 and KS C 7023 standard are needed. In this paper, we presents the design and manufacture of the test equipments for 6.5kV/4.2kA thyristor which used in thyristor valve of HVDC conversion systems by using test standard. Voltage, current, dv/dt and turn-off time test equipments were designed and manufactured. Each systems were made separately, but unity operation can possible.

  • The distributed digital control system has many shared common components, and a single fault in the system may have effects on not a single function. Not as in an analog system, the faults in a digital system usually make discrete and abrupt changes in its output, which are hard to be expected. To cope with these situations, the fault-tolerance is an inevitable property of a distributed control system. A distributed digital control system consists of many equipments, and each equipment can be implemented by many different technologies. The fault-tolerance has to be implemented depend-ing on the overall architecture and how each equipment is implemented. The paper analyzes and compares the strategies and tactics to add the fault-tolerances in a distributed digital control system, and studies how they can be combined appropriately.

  • Electric power distribution feeders are susceptible to faults caused by a variety of situations such as adverse weather conditions, tree contacts, equipment failure, accidents, etc. Distribution circuit faults result in a number of problems related to the reliability of service and customer power quality. In the distribution line, the permanent interruption of customer service resulting from a blown fuse or a recloser lockout was the only factor which was used to determine service reliability. On underground distribution line, the serving of cables by earth-moving equipment is a prevalent cause of faults and the most cable faults quickly develop into bolted current. we introduce th multi-circuit breaker coordination methods in the Underground Distribution Line.

  • Voltage Sags, different from electric outages, are important to industrial reliability because modern process controls are often sensitive to voltage sag, the designer and operator should recognize sag characteristics of the electric system not only to protect malfunction of equipment but also to make best choices between reliability and equipment cost. The voltage sags and compensation countermeasures of large md industrial distribution systems have been simulated using EMTDC. The causes of voltage sags occurred in the system are discussed in detail and several countermeasures including the transfer of large induction motor from normal power source to backup source are recommended in order to enhance the ride-through characteristics of equipments.

  • The Rolling Stock pursues more safe, speedy and accurate operation on the increment of the passenger and the short headway. Signalling system is providing an assurance on safety and reliability of the system, which is based on fail-safe concept. Therefore we are willing to study up on MMI device for new onboard ATP/ATO equipment which is used for driver to recognize train status and fault more quickly and to solve any problem more rapidly, which can maximize the stability and reliability of the system.

  • Distribution system reliability evaluation estimates by approach methods such as Makove modelling or Monte Carlo simulation, equation of state and failure rate that is on one basic data used to these assessment technique is described as probability of average value. because average failure rate equipment device is aged as time goes by but there is shortcoming that such used failure rate does not evaluate thing which is correct in reliability change hereafter. In this paper, failure rate displayed that apply aging to basis equipment device by passing time using Weibull distribution one of life evaluation method and for express aging of component from utility's failure database.

수리 가능 시스템의 신뢰성 분석 절차 및 사례 연구 (Reliability Analysis Procedures for Repairable Systems and Related Case Studies)

  • The purpose of this paper is to present reliability analysis procedures for repairable systems and apply the procedures for assessing the reliabilities of two subsystems of a specific group of military equipment based on field failure data. The mean cumulative function, M(t), the average repair rate, ARR(t), and analytic test methods are used to determine whether a failure process follows a renewal or non-renewal process. For subsystem A, the failure process turns out to follow a homogeneous Poisson process, and subsequently, its mean time between failures, availability, and the necessary number of spares are estimated. For subsystem B, the corresponding M(t) plot shows an increasing trend, indicating that its failure process follows a non-renewal process. Therefore, its M(t) is modeled as a power function of t, and a preventive maintenance policy is proposed based on the annual mean repair cost.

  • Delay time analysis is a pragmatic mathematical concept readily embraced by engineers which has been developed as a means to model maintenance decision problem. This paper considers an inspection period using delay time analysis for fishing vessel equipment. We assume that delay time has a Weibull distribution. In this paper, we determine the optimal inspection period which minimize the expected downtime per unit time. Explicit solutions for the optimal inspection are presented for illustrative purposes.

Repair policies of failure detection equipments and system availability

  • The total system is composed of the main system (MS) and the failure detection equipment (FDE) which detects failures of MS. The analysis of system reliability is performed when the failure of FDE is possible. Several repair policies are considered to determine the order of repair of failed systems, which are sequential repair (SQ), priority repair (PR), independent repair (ID), and simultaneous repair (SM). The states of MS-FDE systems are represented by Markov models according to repair policies and the main purpose of this paper is to derive the system availabilities of the Markov models. Analytical solutions of the stationary equations are derived for the Markov models and the system availabilities are immediately determined using the stationary solutions. A simple illustrative example is discussed for the comparison of availability values of the repair policies considered in this paper.

초고온 열하중 부가장치 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of the Super High Temperature Thermal Test Equipment)

  • 본 논문은 램프의 수명저하 없이 $1,000^{\circ}C$이상의 초고온 급속가열 환경을 지속적으로 모사할 수 있고 기존 사용해온 열하중 부가장치 대비 내구성과 신뢰성이 향상된 열하중 부가장치를 개발하여 초고속 비행체 날개의 구조 건전성 평가에 적용, 그 활용가능성을 수록한 내용이다. 본 시험을 통하여 초고온의 운용환경에 노출되는 비행체 날개의 공력가열에 의한 강성저하를 정량적으로 예측할 수 있었으며, 향후 비약적인 증가추세에 있는 공력가열온도를 경험하게 되는 극초음속 비행체에 대한 고온환경에서의 구조 강도특성 평가가 가능해짐으로써 시험 신뢰성 향상과 함께 고온구조강도시험 수행능력을 한 단계 도약시킬 수 있는 계기가 되었다.
