Multicultural education is what educates the comprehension about social structure, social criticism, and an ideology of participatory democracy. A discussion about equality education based on the ethic of equal caring so that individual life is in harmony with communal life has very important meaning to actualize the equality of multicultural community. Therefore, this study explored 'caring in education' as care community which takes care of self and the inner circle as well as provides care of others. I analyze Walzer's concept of Complex Equality that criticizes the social alchemy in which man possesses various social goods through the possession of one good, namely the dominant good. Next, I discuss Noddings's caring in education which examined, focusing on the possibility that caring in education can be the new curriculum that every student is able to pursue excellence.

The purpose of this study were to enhance the gender equality in rural area through develop Gender Equality Consciousness Improvement Education Program for rural couples. For these purposes, procedures conducted and results were as follows; 1) This study was conducted through the literature review and research data for gender equality of people in rural area. Based on the review and research data, It was developed gender equality consciousness improvement education program and evaluated sex-role complex through structured questionnaires. 2) This program was consisted of 4 sessions, namely, understanding on the concept and necessarity of gender equality, understanding on the man and woman, gender equality consciousness evaluation, and establishing on the equal man and woman role in rural community. Using program materials for educators, this program will be used effectively by professional worker in rural community.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the awareness of gender equality and practice of housing education contents in Technology Home Economics Subject of university students. Subjects were 488 university students located in JunBuk province. In this statistical analysis, SPSS 11.5 for Windows program was utilized to analyze frequency, t-test, one-way Anova, Duncan test, Ward's method, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of this study were follow: First, the university student's gender equality appeared a little above the middle level. Female student's gender equality was higher than male. Second, the university students' practice of housing education contents appeared at the middle level. Male students appeared to be higher than female at 'support and repair of housing' unit. Third, the higher university students have awareness of gender equality, the better they practice of housing education contents. Group one recording where the gender equality is high 'Living quarter application', 'Indoor environment and equipments' units the practice of housing education contents was high. Forth, correlation of variables differed significantly between university students' practice of housing education contents and the awareness of gender equality. As a conclusion, university students' awareness of gender equality play an important role in practice of housing education contents in their real life. These results should be provide fundamental information for improving of housing education contents in Technology Home Economics Subject.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the film in gender equality education classes for elementary school students. For this study an experiment was conducted with students to gender equality education lessons in the 5th grade of Seongwhan elementary school in Cheonan. It was to observe whether the student's gender consciousness changes with the same questionnaire in the starting lesson and the last lesson of gender equality education. Observations of gender equality education with film are very effective for elementary school students. Therefore, this paper is to share the following results. First, this study is a model of teaching gender equality education through film that would be proposed. Second, using film gender equality education lessons will be conducted in a real elementary school. The satisfaction of students will be examined. Third, using film to demonstrate the effectiveness of gender equality classes would be. Finally, the use of film in teaching of gender equality according to the curriculum would be proposed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relation between personality traits and awareness of gender equality. Method: A descriptive survey design was used and 688 students in fifth and sixth grades in 3 elementary schools were selected as participants. Result: 1. Level of gender equality awareness among the students was 2.82. This is higher than average and was most influenced by awareness of family life, followed by awareness in education, work environment and social-cultural life. 2. Students with higher levels of extraversion-introversion had higher levels of awareness of gender equality in family life, work environment, and education. Students with higher levels of tough-mindedness showed lower levels of gender equality awareness in family life and work environment, while those with higher levels of lying showed lower levels of gender equality awareness in social-cultural life. Conclusion: Personality traits and awareness of gender equality were correlated to some degree. However, in order to understand the characteristics of childhood personality traits and the behaviors of our children though the mediation of the gender equality awareness as society changes, and to let them grow with understanding of gender equality, it is essential to implement various kinds of education in families, schools, and the society.

The purpose of this study was to research university students' awareness of gender equality and practice of clothing and textiles education contents(classifying them into four units; choice and dressing of clothes, textile and management of clothes, design and sewing of clothes, and knitting and embroidery) in their real life. This is the investigation of 344 university students living in Choongchungnam bukdo, Junrabukdo, and Daejeon. In this statistical analysis, SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was utilized to calculate percentage, mean and standard deviation. Also, these data were verified by t-test, One-way Anova, Duncan's multiple range, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of this research were as follows: The more university students have awareness of gender equality, the more they have practice of clothing and textiles education content in their real life. There was a significant difference in practical awareness of contents of clothing and textiles education according to demographic variables and correlation of variables differed significantly. As a conclusion, university students' awareness of gender equality plays an important role in practice of clothing and textiles education contents in their real life. These results would provide fundamental information for improving students' critical practice.

This study seeks to identify factors influencing the gender equality consciousness of university students and provide data to increase gender equality consciousness for university students based on the results. The subjects of university students in D and G city at the time, data collection was from April 1, 2016 to April 14, 189 questionnaires were used in the final analysis. The collected data using SPSS/WIN 20.0 program percentages, means and standard deviations, t-test, ANOVA, post verification was analyzed by scheffe's test, correlation between variables affect the Pearson's correlation coefficient, gender equality consciousness used a multiple regression analysis. In results of the study, gender equality consciousness appeared as $3.23{\pm}0.48$ points. Gender equality consciousness were a negative correlation with gender role stereotypes(r=-.711, p<.001) and a positive correlation with self-esteem correlation(r=.186, p=.011) and showed a negative correlation with control (r=-383, p<.001). Factors affecting gender equality in research subjects appeared to be gender role stereotypes and control, explanatory power was found to be 50.1%. Through this research requires the fellow study to determine the various factors affecting the gender equality consciousness of university students, it is necessary to improve the gender equality consciousness.

A national curriculum must be organized with consideration given to the equality of education in all aspects. In addition, educational equality must be discussed from the standpoint of fairness in addition to uniformed identity. This study was conducted with a goal to analyze and examine how China's informatics curriculum takes into consideration equality and excellence. It has been found that China's compulsory curriculum takes into consideration equality to give the same opportunity of education to all students, and that high school education is implemented from the perspective of excellence to reflect students' needs and abilities. Therefore, this study suggests considerations to be made in the discussion of software education that is being carried out at the moment and also for the formation of the respective curriculum.

The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the Marital Equality Education Program for women farmers and their husband. Based on the empirical research result of 980 women farmers as basic study for developing this program, marital equality theory, system theory, strong family perspective, stress coping theory, anger control theory, modified Couple Communication Program, marriage enrichment methods, 7 session program was developed. The contents of every session were Reviewing Marriage Relationships, Coping Role Stress, Marital Equality, Self Expression & Speaking, Understanding Spouse & Listening, Anger Control& Resolving Conflict, and Enhancing Marital Relations. The effectiveness of this program was evaluated by pretest, post test, and follow-up 1 month later through 35 rural couples(women farmers and their husband) and it was analyzed by paired t-test and qualitative evaluation was also investigated. The major results were as follows : This program was effective in improving their self-esteem, marital satisfaction, coping role stress & conflicts, and husband's egalitarian role attitude & practice. The results suggested the program had also Positive impacts on the marital equality and relationships. Future research and practical implications were added.

In this paper we consider the equality sign as a mathematical concept and investigate its meaning, errors made by students, and subject matter knowledge of mathematics teacher in view of The Model of Mathematic al Concept Analysis, arithmetic-algebraic thinking, and some examples. The equality sign = is a symbol most frequently used in school mathematics. But its meanings vary accor ding to situations where it is used, say, objects placed on both sides, and involve not only ordinary meanings but also mathematical ideas. The Model of Mathematical Concept Analysis in school mathematics consists of Ordinary meaning, Mathematical idea, Representation, and their relationships. To understand a mathematical concept means to understand its ordinary meanings, mathematical ideas immanent in it, its various representations, and their relationships. Like other concepts in school mathematics, the equality sign should be also understood and analysed in vie w of a mathematical concept.
