에폭시와 세라믹스를 결합한 혼합물 이용 박층 포장공법의 성능개선 (Performance Improvement of Thin Pavement Layer using Epoxy and Ceramics Composite Materials)

  • 변형과 파손 등의 공용성능 문제가 발생하고 있는 아스팔트 포장과 콘크리트 포장에 비해 내구성능이 우수한 에폭시와 세라믹스를 결합한 혼합물을 도로포장에 적용하기 위하여 실내물성실험을 수행하고 현장에 적용하였다. 본 연구는 부착력과 내구성이 뛰어나 구조물 보수, 보강에 널리 사용되는 에폭시를 도로포장에 적용하기 위해서 세라믹스와 금속성분 등의 micro powder를 첨가하여 포장 재료로써의 공용성능을 확인하고 이를 현장에 적용하여 작업성과 시공성 등을 확인하였다. 콘크리트포장 현장의 시험시공은 파손된 기존 포장구간에 면처리 후 7 mm 박층으로 시공하였고, 아스팔트포장 현장의 시험시공은 파손된 기존 포장구간에 면처리 후 15 mm 박층으로 시공하여, 12개월 가량 균열 및 변형 발생여부를 관찰하였다. 에폭시와 세라믹스를 결합한 혼합물은 기존 포장과의 부착력이 뛰어났으며, 변형과 파손에 대한 저항성이 기존 포장재료에 비해 우수한 것으로 나타나 이를 도로현장에 적용할 경우, 공용성능 및 공용년한의 향상이 기대된다.

무기 필러가 첨가된 현무암섬유 강화 에폭시 복합재료의 난연 특성 (Flame Retardant Properties of Basalt Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Composite with Inorganic Fillers)

  • 무기필러가 첨가된 현무암섬유 강화 에폭시 복합재료를 제조하여 그 특성을 평가하였다. 첨가된 무기필러는 각각 수산화마그네슘, 수산화알루미늄, 알루미나, 베마이트이며 이를 첨가제로한 에폭시 수지를 현무암섬유에 핸드레이업으로 함침시킨 후 hot pressing하여 수지 함침량이 30 wt%인 섬유복합재료를 제조하였다. LOI 평가 결과 BFRP의 LOI (28.9)는 에폭시 수지 (21.4)에 비해 향상된 것을 확인하였으며 무기필러가 첨가될 경우 그보다 더욱 향상되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 무기필러가 첨가된 복합재료는 무기필러가 첨가되지 않은 복합재료에 비해 콘칼로리미터 시험에서 PHRR, THR, TSR 등이 감소하여 무기필러 첨가에 따른 난연 특성 향상을 확인하였다.

  • Epoxy-Ceramic Composite have good insulating, therma1 and mechanical properties, so it is studied actively on this material. In this thesis, we made a composite material b)\ulcorner filling Epoxy Resin with ceramics treated with Sillane Coupling Agent and studied dielectric and insulating characteristics according to treatment density of Sillane Coupling Agent and weight percent of filler. As a result, loss tangent increase and electrical breakdown voltage decrease according to increasing treatment density of sillane coupling agent because Interface matching between matrix and filler is not good. The best treatment density of sillane coupling agent is 0.5% water solution, in this density the best interface matching is achieved so good dielectric and insulation characteristics are shown. Dielectric and insulation characteristics according to weight percent of filler are best at 25wt.

  • In this study, composite $BaSrTiO_3$ has been studied for high frequency device applications. Composite $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}TiO_3$ has high dielectric permittivity and low loss tangent at the relative frequency range from MHz to GHz. 10,30 and 50 wt% of epoxy doped $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}TiO_3$ powders were prepared with bisphenol A and F polymer employing ball milling process. Epoxy/($BaSrTiO_3$) composites thick films were screen printed on the Cu plated PCB substrates through screen printing methods. The specimens were designed for the embedded capacitor applications. Temperature dependent dielectric permittivity of Epoxy doped $BaSrTiO_3$ ceramics was measured.

PZT/Epixy 0-3형 조합적믈의 압전특성에 관한 연구 (Piezoelectric Properties of 0-3 Composite with PZT / Epoxy)

  • In this paper, the dependence of piezoelectric properties in the 0-3 composite system of piezoelectric-ceramics polymer materials on particle size of ceramics were investigated. Radial mode and thickness mode of composite were observed similar to single phase of piezoelectric ceramics. The measured values of dielectric constant and dissipation factor were dependent on particle size, which increased with the increasing particle size. the planar coupling factor, thickness coupling factor and thickness frequency constant with the particle size were almost constant, while planar frequency constant increased. The thickness coupling factor decreased with the increasing thickness of specimen. It is found that maximum voltage coeffidient was calculated on the specimen with particle size smallar than 46 ${\mu}m$.

  • In this paper, piezoelectric composite materials of 1-3 connectivity were prepared by using "dicing-filling" technique with PZT ceramics and epoxy polymers, and the dependence of piezoelectric properties on the thickness of specimens was investigated. In case that the PZT volume percent is 18.1%, according to an increment of thickness, the dielectric constant of composites( 33) is unchangeable, which is about 200, the piezoelectric coefficient (d33) is somewhat increased, which is about 240-280 (PC/N) and the electromechanical coupling factor of thickness mode(kt) is proportioned, but radial mode(kp) is constant.

  • In this study, the piezoelectric composites with 1-3 connectivity have been studied. A piezoelectric ceramics PZT prepared by Flux method is used as a filler in a epoxy Eccogel polymer matrix. The piezoelectric coefficients were increased as PZT volume% increases, and resonance frequency was moved to lower frequency as the sample thickness increased. The acoustic matching impedance with water is lowered than single phase PZT ceramics.

  • The material for the machine tool structure should have high static stiffiness and damping in its property to improve both the static and dynamic performances. The static stiffness of a machine tool can be inceased by using either higher modulus material in the structure of a machine tool. However, the machine tool structrue with high stiffness but low damping is vulnerable to vibration at the resonance frequencies of the structure . For the high precision and highsped machine tool structure, therefore, the high damping capacity is most important in order to suppress vibration. The damping of a machine tool can not be increased by increasing the static stiffness. The best way to increase the damping capacity of the machine tool structure is to use a composite material which is composed of on material with high stiffness with low damping and another material with low stiffness with high damping. Therefore, in this paper, the bed of the ultra high precision grinding machine for mirror surface machining of brittle materials such as ceramics and composite materials was designed and manufactured with the epoxy concrete material. The epoxy concrete material was prepared by mixing epoxy resin with different size sands and gravels. The modulus, compressive strength, coefficient of thermal expansion, specific heat, and damping factor were measured by varying the compaction ratio, sizes and contents of the ingredients to assess the effect of the processing parameters on the mechanical properties of the material. Based of the measured properties, the prototype epoxy resin concrete bed for the mirror surface CNC grinding machine was designed and manufactured.

  • 폴리머/세라믹 복합체는 유기기판용 내장형 커패시터의 가장 유망한 재료다. 폴리머/세라믹 복합체의 유효유전상수를 예측하는 것은 복합재료의 설계에 있어 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 크기가 다른 5가지 $BaTiO_3$ 분말을 이용하여 분말함량에 따른 에폭시/$BaTiO_3$ 복합 내장형 커패시터 필름의 유전상수를 측정하였다. 그 측정 결과를 여러 가지 이론식들에 최소 자승법을 이용해 fitting하여 폴리머/세라믹 복합체의 유효유전상수를 예측하는데 가장 유용한 식을 찾고 BaTiO$_3$ 분말의 유전상수를 추정하고자 하였다. Lichtenecker식과 Jayasundere-Smith식이 에폭시/$BaTiO_3$ 복합 내장형 커패시터 필름의 유전상수 예측에 유용한 것으로 나타났다. 피팅을 통해 계산된 $BaTiO_3$ 분말의 유전상수는 분말의 크기에 따라 100 에서 600 사이였는데 이는 다결정 세라믹 $BaTiO_3$의 유전상수보다 작은 값이다.

  • Lead-free piezoelectric ceramic/epoxy composites with '0-3' connectivity were prepared by cold-pressing with a temperature controlled curing method. A ceramic powder with a composition of $(Na_{0.51}K_{0.47}Li_{0.02})(Nb_{0.8}Ta_{0.2})O_3$ was synthesized by a conventional solid state reaction route. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of ceramic/epoxy composites were characterized as a function of the volume fraction (${\phi}$) of piezoelectric ceramics, which was varied from 70 to 95 vol%. The results indicated that the piezoelectric properties of composites were significantly affected by the volume fraction of ceramics. In terms of the piezoelectric properties, specimens showed the best performance at ${\phi}$= 85 vol%, resulting in the piezoelectric constant $d_{33}$ of 39 pC/N and the figure of merit as a piezoelectric energy harvester ($d_{33}{\cdot}g_{33}$) of 1.24 $pm^2/N$.
