직조된 대나무 자연섬유 복합재료의 제조인자에 따른 굽힘강도 (Bending Strength of Natural Woven Bamboo Fiber-reinforced Polymer Composites with Manufacturing Factors)

  • In recent years there has been a growing interest for the use of natural fibers in composite applications due to their low cost, environmental friendliness, and good mechanical properties. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristic of bending strength on bamboo fiber reinforced polymer composites. The parameters of RTM process depend on the weight ratio of bamboo fiber and resin, the number of bamboo ply and amount of hardening agent. Mechanical properties was investigated for each process factor of polymer composites. Test result shows that bending strength was a maximum(approximately 85MPa) value when composite thickness was 6mm and weight ratio of resin was 13%.

The Influence of Sustainability and Social Responsibility on Fashion Trends

  • The purpose of this study was first, to examine the causes for the recent acceleration in the increase of textile/apparel waste and the current practices for reducing waste in the global textile and apparel industry; and second, to explore the influence of sustainability and social responsibility on fashion trends. Extensive literature on sustainable apparel and sustainable and socially responsible practices by global textile and apparel firms was reviewed in conducting this research. First, an accelerated fashion diffosion speed due to fast fashion was focused on as a cause for the increase in textile/apparel waste whereas mass customization was focused on as a potential solution for reducing waste. Then, the influence of the social trend toward sustainability and social responsibility on fashion trends was discussed, particularly the trends toward green products and recycled fashion, the trend against using real for or leather, and minimum-fabric-waste fashion in design and product development. This study furthers consumers' understanding of sustainability and social responsibility related to fashion trends and hopefully increases their consciousness in becoming socially responsible consumers. This study will also contribute to better decision-making in apparel and textile firms to produce sustainable fashion products.

자녀 연령에 따른 브랜드 아파트 이미지 선호 (Branded Apartment Images and Families with Different Children Ages)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out branded apartment images families with different children ages favored. On-line survey was conducted in the Seoul Metropolitan Areas, and the 181 responses were used for the data analysis. Four children age cohorts were applied to describe favorable branded apartment images - families with infants or toddlers, elementary school children, adolescents and college students. The finding indicated that the respondents preferred branding apartments mainly because it was likely to reflect quality. Also it was found that the most favorable branded apartment image was safety, and the investment-related image was favored by families with young children while the image of comfort by those with adolescents. Families with kids preferred the image of environmental friendliness, those with did a health-related image, and the other two groups did the safety image.

  • The project of advanced urban transit system (AUTS)development is developing the advanced vehicle and the core technologies for the cost down by system change, the transport safety and the environmental friendliness and the improvement of passenger service. The product data management(PDM) system is installed for management of each project. Various data and informations producted from each project are made for database. We developed the product data management system for advanced urban transit system. In past, it was AUTS-PDM of C/S version. Now, we develop AUTS-PDM of Web version.

  • 연료전지 발전기술은 에너지 절약 및 환경보호 측면에서의 우수한 특성으로 인해 새로운 발전기술로서 평가되고 있다. 여러가지 연료전지 기술중 인산형 연료전지는 기술적으로 가장 성숙되어 있는 상태이며, 상용화를 눈앞에 두고 있다. 본 고에서는 인산형 연료전지에 대한 최근의 기술동향 및 상용화 노력을 소개하고자 한다. 미국과 일본의 개발노력 및 기술상태를 비교 분석하였으며, 향후 기술 개발 방향 등에 대해서도 언급하고자 한다.

  • Recently, in addition to greening of roof and artificial soil, Rootproofing to prevent damage to the waterproof layer and structures by roots is recognized as an important task. Therefore, various related products and construction methods have been developed and applied in the field. However, in the case of synthetic polymer-based sheets most commonly used in domestic construction sites, Most are produced using 100% new materials that are not suitable for green trends such as resource conservation and environmental protection. Therefore, in this study, we developed TPO sheet using recycled material, which is a technology that can secure eco-friendliness by utilizing recycled resources. As a result of the evaluation of tensile performance of the TPO sheet according to the recycled material content, The tensile strength of the specimens with the recycled content of 50 ~ 70% was the highest, The elongation rate of the specimen with the recycled content of 30 ~ 40% was the best.

치료정원 관점에서 본 친환경 아파트의 조경실태 (Landscape Characteristics of Environmentally Friendly Apartments in the Dimension of Therapeutic Garden)

  • Apartments recently built have been strategically designed in many ways, and one of the most striking aspects is to utilize the idea of environmental friendliness and the application to the living environment. Especially, the number of environmentally friendly apartments that concern the health of residents have been increasing and their landscape is notably differentiated. The purpose of this research study was to examine the landscape of the environmentally friendly apartments that have been built in the past five years, and to assess its features in the aspects of therapeutic garden. Based upon the review of previous studies, this study constructed a checklist that was used to evaluate the planning components of the landscape during site visits. This study found that overall landscape selected in the study was well-planned. However, it was suggested that more features of therapeutic garden such as vegetation area which both encourages interaction with residents and produces therapeutic benefits be adopted in planning the advanced therapeutic garden of environmentally friendly apartments.

  • Maglev is a non-contact traffic system in which cars are supported by magnetic force instead of wheels. This is a ground-breaking traffic system providing superior environmental friendliness and cost efficiency due to the minimal noise and vibration offered by its non-contacting nature. We study the present specification and performance of the low speed urban maglev system in Korea and other countries. After set up the test line, to success the "Commercialization of Korean Urban Maglev System" project, we establish proper requirement of maglev system in Korean environment on base of "Daejeon National Science Museum Maglev Establish Project".

인간적 척도와 시각적 선호의 관계성에 관한 연구 -도시공간을 중심으로- (A Study on the Relationship between Human Scale and Visual Preference)

  • This study intends to define the concept of human scale and visual preference which is frequently being used by environmental designers, and to explore the dimension of buildings and courtyards which is perceived as "human scale" and "visually preferable" by users (college students). As the subjects of this experiment were college students, "human scale" and "visual preferenoe" that were professional terms must be changed to understandable and compatible concept. The compatible concept for human scale was defined as the degree of friendliness and comfort, and that for visual preference was declined as the degree of like or dislike. The subjects thought that buildings with the height of 2.73 ∼5. 83 storides, the length of 27.44∼44.00m and the height ratio of 1.81 ∼5.41 were in human scale, and that buildings with height 2.60 ∼ 6.00 stories, the length of 25.7∼55.00 and the height ratio of 1.32∼6.41 were visually preferred. The block game used in this study was Proved to he a reliable and valid experimental method.

최근 수도권 모델하우스에 나타난 공간구성 경향에 관한 연구 (Planning Features of Recent House Showrooms in the Seoul Metropolitan Areas)

  • The focus of this study was on spatial and interior characterization of recently developed and marketed apartments. The house showrooms in the Seoul Metropolitan Areas that have recently been open were selected and analyzed. The floor plans and relevant materials via website for each showroom provided by major housing development companies were examined, and site visits were made. The finding of this study indicated that high-tech systems were applied to heighten security and safety. It was revealed that various exterior design features were adopted and emphasized, so they affected spatial composition and utilization. Another finding was the use of environmentally friendly materials and features as indoor air quality became an emerging concern. Additionally, it was noticed that features in relation to open housing and interior finishes became more customized to meet different needs of consumers. Therefore, the characteristics of recent house showrooms were summarized into high-tech, environmental friendliness, and customization.
