환경원가를 환경투자와 비용으로 구분하여 이 두 요소를 유발하는 요인과 효과를 실증 분석하였다. 결과를 보면 수익성(ROS 등)은 환경관련투자 및 환경보전비용에 유의적인 영향을 미치지 않았으며 레버리지 비율은 환경투자활동에 음의 영향을 미쳤으며 R&D 비율도 악영향을 나타내었다. 한편 지배주주의 비중이 높을수록 단기적인 환경보전비용의 지출은 물론 환경시설투자 등에도 능동적으로 대처하였다. 그리고 환경관련투자와 환경비용을 통한 노력이 재무성과(ROS)에는 부정적으로, $CO_2$ 배출량의 감소와 같은 환경성과에는 긍정적으로 나타났으며 결과적으로 환경경제효율에는 긍정적 방향을 나타냈으나 유의적이지는 않았다. 이것은 환경관련지출이 $CO_2$ 배출량 감소와 같은 긍정적 효과를 초래하지만 재무성과가가 악화된 것만큼 $CO_2$ 배출량 감소효과가 따라가지 못한다는 사실을 의미한다.

Purpose - Considering the environmental issues in corporate management is now a necessity, not an option. In addition, consumers' interest in health and environment has increased rapidly. This study aims to investigate how the management style that pursues environmental protection affects the various outcomes at each management process such as planning, producing and supervising process. Research design, data, and methodology - We surveyed 319 manufacturing companies from April 1 to April 30, 2016. Green purchasing, environmental technology management and management support are selected as independent variables and firm performances as dependent variables. Three analyses including factor, regression and moderating were conducted. Results - Regression analysis was performed to set up hypotheses. Consequently, the total six hypotheses were adopted and then innovative management style showed moderating effect. Conclusions - Companies should consider environmental factors to improve the financial performance in the long term. Especially the cooperative style enhances financial performance by implementing eco-friendly design in cooperation with customers. Also, eco-friendly activities with suppliers could have direct environmental protection effects. Therefore, a manufacturer needs to cooperate with both suppliers and customers to maximize the protection effect. The production of eco-friendly products and implementing eco-friendly design with customers positively affect product quality.

Purpose: CEOs develop policies through their effective decision-making while employees implement the policies so that a business realizes the expected returns. This research focuses on the importance of the CEO's sustainable leadership to distribute environmental education culture to improve employees' environmental performance. Research design, data and methodology: The PRISMA that is selected by the present research is an evidence-based minimum group of entities for reporting in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The core focus of the concept is to note studies that evaluate the impacts of intervention and can also be utilized as a basis for writing systematic reviews rather than intervention evaluations. Results: The current investigation indicates that there are four kinds of suggestions (a. Increased organizational learning, b. Open communication, c. Participative decision making, d. Psychological empowerment) how the management should develop sustainable leadership for distributing green culture and improving employee green performance. Conclusions: Based on four solutions, the present research concludes that sustainable leadership for CEOs is not only of advantage in terms of protecting the environment and the people, but it fosters increased organizational learning. Increased organizational learning leads to better employee sustainable performance, which includes financial performance and the social and environmental initiatives the organization implements.

Geometric nonlinear performance simulation and analysis of complex modern buildings and industrial products require high-performance shell elements. Balancing multiple aspects of performance in the one geometric nonlinear analysis element remains challenging. We present a new shell element, flat shell DKMGQ-CR (Co-rotational Discrete Kirchhoff-Mindlin Generalized Conforming Quadrilateral), for linear and geometric nonlinear analysis of both thick and thin shells. The DKMGQ-CR shell element was developed by combining the advantages of high-performance membrane and plate elements in a unified coordinate system and introducing the co-rotational formulation to adapt to large deformation analysis. The effectiveness of linear and geometric nonlinear analysis by DKMGQ-CR is verified through the tests of several classical numerical benchmarks. The computational results show that the proposed new element adapts to mesh distortion and effectively alleviates shear and membrane locking problems in linear and geometric nonlinear analysis. Furthermore, the DKMGQ-CR demonstrates high performance in analyzing thick and thin shells. The proposed element DKMGQ-CR is expected to provide an accurate, efficient, and convenient tool for the geometric nonlinear analysis of shells.

This study investigates the effect of technological and environmental factors on the cloud computing assimilation, which then affects firms' performance. The technological characteristics include cost-savings, technology use advantage, technology infrastructure, and technology compatibility while environmental characteristics include partner cooperation, competitive pressure, environmental uncertainty, and business agility. Furthermore, we examine inter-organizational trust as a moderating effect between environmental characteristics and cloud computing assimilation. Data from a sample of 219 firms show the significant impacts of proposed variables with exception of technology infrastructure and technology compatibility. The findings also show that inter-organizational trust has a significant moderating effect in all paths except the one between business agility and cloud computing assimilation. The implication of this study suggests a theoretical framework explaining cloud computing assimilation and performance within inter-organizational environment.

The board of directors play an important role in corporate climate strategy-making and decisions but might also compromise environmental policies to minimize agency cost. This study critically investigates the relationship between the attributes of the board of directors and the degree of sustainability performance for the energy sector as discussed in the literature. Our study cumulates existing knowledge offering important characteristics for a balanced board structure to increase the board's effectiveness in adopting sustainable initiatives that could reduce the adverse impact of an energy corporation's operation on the environment. Crucial attributes of the board of directors deemed to be positively associated with the commitment to reduce carbon footprint in the environment have been identified. Based on our extensive analysis of the literature we propose a conceptual framework that measures the influence of the board of directors' attributes on corporate environmental and social sustainability performance. The proposed framework will be useful as an initial step for top management and regulators to gain a better understanding of the balanced board structure required to achieve the social and environmental sustainability performance of corporations. Further, this paper contributes to a body of knowledge about how the board of directors could play a crucial role in monitoring social and environmental threats.

The performance of direct methanol fuel cells is affected by operating conditions such as, methanol feeding temperatures, methanol concentrations, and methanol flow rates during the operation in different environmental conditions. In this study, effects of the environmental temperature on performance of direct methanol fuel cells have been investigated in order to test a applicability of direct methanol fuel cell to the vehicle. The environmental temperature (ET) was varied from $-20^{\circ}C$ to $+30^{\circ}C$. The inside fuel cell temperature (CT) during test at various operating conditions was monitored and the performance of fuel cell was measured in the I-V polarization curve. With increasing the ET, the performance of the fuel cell was significantly improved and the CT also almost linearly increased. However, at below $0^{\circ}C$ ET, the DMFC showed very poor performance and needed to control CT or methanol feeding temperature (MFT), methanol flow rate(MFR) to obtain enough power of the vehicle.

본 연구는 국내 기업들의 공급체인 통합 요인들과 환경성과에 관해 분석하였다. 기업들이 글로벌 지역으로 사업영역이 확장되면서 각국들은 제품에 대한 환경규제를 통하여 수출입을 제한하는 새로운 패러다임에 대비한 친환경 공급체인관리에 대한 연구를 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 공급체인 통합, 친환경 활동, 환경성과와 같은 주요 요인들을 중점으로 본 연구의 목적인 전통적인 공급체인통합 요인들과 새로운 친환경활동 간의 관계를 규명하는 것으로 친환경적성과를 염두에 두고 있는 기업들에게 친환경성과 핵심요인을 도출하여 사업성과를 살펴보는데 있다. 표본은 88개 설문지를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째로 친환경 공급체인 활동에서 외부 친환경협력요인과 내부 친환경모니터링요인을 발견할 수 있었다. 둘째로 공급체인통합은 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째로 내부 친환경모니터링 요인은 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 나타내는 것으로 나타났으나 외부 친환경협력 요인은 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 높은 수준의 공급체인통합은 이룬 기업들은 높은 수준의 공급체인 전반에 걸친 환경성과를 기대할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 특히, 연구 결과 우리 기업들은 친환경요인에 관한 주요요인에 관한 활동들을 준비하여 신 무역규제인 친환경 공급체인망 통합에 대한 준비가 필요하다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다.

The increased awareness of electromagnetic wave hazards has prompted studies on electromagnetic shielding using conductive materials in the construction industry. Previous studies have explored the effects of the types of conductive materials and their mix proportions on the electromagnetic shielding performance; however, there has been insufficient research on the effect of the geometry of the conductive materials on the electromagnetic shielding performance. Therefore, in this study, the dependence of the electromagnetic shielding performance on the cross-sectional geometry, diameter and length of fibers was investigated. The results showed that the electromagnetic shielding performance improved when the fiber length increased or the diameter decreased, but the effect of the cross-sectional geometry of the fibers was smaller than the effect of the fiber spacing factor.

This study investigates the effects of business environment on the e-business strategy and performance of venture firms. The development of the research model is based on the empirical studies on the strategy literature. The data from the survey was analyzed using Partial Least Squares(PLS). For Daedeok Valley Venture Firms, product innovation differentiation strategy is affected by environmental uncertainty. And, cost leadership strategy tend to be influence by environmental uncertainty. Finally, venture firm's performance is effected by cost leadership strategy and marketing differentiation strategy. However, for in Hsinchu Science Park Venture Firms, product innovation differentiation strategy is affected by environmental uncertainty and heterogeneity. And, marketing differentiation strategy is enhanced by environment uncertainty and industry growth. In addition, cost leadership strategy tend to be influence by environmental uncertainty and heterogeneity. Finally, venture firm's performance is effected by cost leadership strategy and product innovation differentiation strategy.
