주거환경소음에 대한 주민 의식 변화 분석 (Variations of Subjective Response to Environmental Noise)

  • As the number of the apartments is increasing, many environmental problems are also occurred. There are lots of studies on that problems. Especially, a lot of studies about environmental noises are going along continuously. And they found out advanced results. In this study, we investigated the residents' subjective responses about environmental noises by survey, and verified the trend of the environmental noise conditions in apartment house. The results of this study will be useful to provide guideline to make policy of environmental noise and criteria.

Analysis of Traffic Noise Propagation around Main Roads in Kwang-ju City

  • This paper describes an analysis of various factors affecting traffic noise propagation, including the distance from the road, existence of a direct path of noise propagation, density and height of buildings, and procedure for predicting the attenuation of noise levels from roads. The analysis is based on a multiple number of regression models, utilizing the quantification theory of the first kind. This study incorporates a large amount of survey data concerning traffic noise propagation. The survey of the traffic noise propagation around main roads was carried out in several residential areas, mainly in Kwangju. The attenuation of noise levels measured provided 691 usable data samples. A multiple regression analysis demonstrated that the distance from the road makes the most significant contribution to the attenuation of the noise level. The second contributor was found to be the existence of a direct path of noise propagation. The building density and average height of the buildings also affected the attenuation of the noise level considerably. Other factors, such as the height of the building behind the receiver microphone and the number of traffic lanes on the noise-source roads, did not contribute as much to the attenuation of the noise level as the factors mentioned avove.

항공기 소음 성가심 반응에 영향을 미치는 변수에 관한 연구(II) - 김포공항 주변 거주민을 대상으로 - (Demographic and Attitudinal Factors that Modify Annoyance from Aircraft Noise)

  • 본 연구는 김포공항 주변 거주민을 대상으로 항공기 소음에 대한 성가심 반응에 영향을 미치는 변수에 대해 알아보았다. 성가심 반응에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 독립변수는 소음변수와 비소음 변수로 구분된다. 소음 변수로는 항공기 소음원의 소음도와 도로소음 및 생활소음, 그리고 비소음 변수로는 인구통계변수와 태도변수가 성가심 반응에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과 소음 변수 중 다른 소음원의 경우는 성가심 반응에 큰 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 비소음 변수 중 인구통계 변수도 성가심 반응에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 그러나 비소음 변수 중 태도변수로 구분된 민원의 경우 성가심 반응에 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

  • 본 연구는 국내 항공기 소음에 대한 성가심 반응을 정량화하는 연구에서 성가심 반응에 영향을 주는 변수에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 영향이 예상되는 변수를 설문조사 시 함께 질의하고, 그 결과를 통해 성가심 반응과의 통계적 유의성을 검증해 보았다. 본 연구에서 사용한 성가심 반응에 영향이 예상되는 독립변수는 크게 소음/비소음 변수로 나누었다. 소음 변수로서 항공기 소음원의 소음도, 비소음 변수로서 연령, 학력, 성별, 직업, 주택형태, 거주기간에 대해서 일원분산분석을 하였다. 또한 대상지역의 민원 발생 여부에 대해서 조사하였다.

소음지도를 활용한 환경소음 관리계획 수립 (Establishment on Management Plan of Environmental Noise with Noise Map)

  • The objective of this study is to prepare the effective management plan of environmental noise with a noise map, and the guideline on the management plan of environmental noise was suggested through the review of existing application examples. The management plan of environmental noise with a noise map includes the practical contents in the stages of subdivision of management areas, establishment of reduction measures, opinion collection, post investigation, and reformulation of management plan. First, the classification of management regions is performed considering the excess degree of noise standard and the facility type in the phase of subdivision of management areas. Second, the optimal management plan is established through the investigation of regional characteristics and various noise reduction measures in the phase of establishment of reduction measures, which includes the examination of noise reduction effects with a noise map and the budget planning with the costing of noise reduction measures. Third, the opinion survey with a local resident and a expert is carried out in order to prove the validity of the management plan in the phase of opinion collection, and the management plan is modified with gathered opinions. Fourth, the post examination plan with noise measurement is performed in order to verify the real effect of noise reduction measures according to the management plan in the phase of post investigation. Finally, the amendment of the management plan as well as the improvement of a noise map is carried out at a regular cycle in the phase of reformulation of management plan.

  • With rapid industrial development, railway has become a main traffic means. But, the railway noise has caused much annoyance for the residents living nearby railway track. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the environmental Quality criteria for railway noise like the environmental quality criteria for traffic noise. In this study, the domestic and foreign criteria for railway noise were investigated with analysis of existing data and an field survey of noise condition near a railway. Fundamental data are provided for establishment of environmental Quality criteria for railway noise.

서울시 소음공해 현황과 이에 대한 주민의 인식정도 (Noise Pollution and the Perception of Noise in Seoul)

  • Nine districts in Seoul were chosen randomly and a questionnaire containing 23 questions was distributed to survey the perception of noise pollution by the citizens. The results were primarily analyzed to understand the perception of Seoul citizen as a whole, and then analyzed according to 4 demographic variables -district area, age, gender and occupation -to see if there were any possible relation between nonnoise variables and noise annoyance. Actual noise level data measured by the city government were used to compare quantified noise level with the surveyed people's perception. It was found that people consider road traffic noise to be the naix source of noise pollution In Seoul and that most people have experienced annoyance in everyday life. Also it was verified that the responsibility for noise control should be on both city government and the individuals, but It was generally considered that very little effort Is actually put Into solong norse pollution from both groups. From the survey, It could be analyzed that domographic variables do affect people In the awareness of noise pollution, and that one's sensitifty and annoyance due to noise increase as one ages. From the study, It was concluded that noise pollution Is not considered currently as a hazardous problem to most Seoul citizens, however specific noise reduction policies, especially regarding road traffic noise, should be put Into practice In the near future.

주거지역 환경소음에 대한 거주민 의식 분석 (Analysis of Residents' Consciousness for the Environmental Noise in the Residential Area)

  • Environmental noise in the residential area is appeared with different types and features along with the growth of society. In particular when the economic level is raised up, the demand of residents for the environmental noise becomes more sensitive. The existing research on the environmental noise was initiated in the 1980's and resulted that the children's jumping sound was most annoying among the noises transmitted from the other unit. This result caused such activities that the researches were focused on the floor impact noise and that the laws in relation to environmental noise within residential area were revised strictly. This study aimed to survey the consciousness of residents for the environmental noise and to see how it is changed comparing with the previous one. Ultimately this result could be useful to establish the target for research or noise control to make the comfortable residential environment.

국민학교의 환경소음실웅 조사연구 (Investigation of Environmental Noise in Elementary School)

  • Environmental noise raises serious problems in our ciries. Noise reduces the preformance task, and occasionially causes the physiological problems such as nervous strain, headache etc. This study is to investigate the environmental noise of elementary school classrooms in attempt to probide the basis of appropriate sound performance standards. Field interview survey with a total of 369 subjects in 3 elementary schools and simultaneously measurements of noise level have been made. The results of study show that the A-weighted noise level is in excess of the criteria recommended by I.S.O. and 69% of the subjects are annoyed by the environmental noises : in particular traffic ; and market noises.
