친 환경적 맨홀 보수 및 시공 기술개발에 대한 연구 (The Research on Environmental-Friendly Manhole Repair and Construction Technology)

  • The repair of road pavement and manhole has been resulted long construction times and traffic jams, environmental pollution from construction wastes, and budget waste due to excessive construction costs. In order to resolve such problems, we have developed the new construction method using C-ring, which can fix and raise the manhole securely. This technology is the method by driving in a wedge after inserting C-ring and expanding it in order to raise manhole to the regular height. This has been approved by the test reports of KOLAS(Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme), and was confirmed safety, durability and reliabilty in result. In this paper we approved this technology was able to short working times to around 20% and construction costs to around 50% with compare other construction methods. Also, environmental pollution and civil complaints will be prevented because there will be no longer any noises, vibrations, dust, or construction wastes.

충청남도 민유임도에 적용된 공종의 변화 및 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Work and Improvement in the Private Forest Road of Chungcheongnam Province)

  • 본 연구는 환경친화적 녹색임도 구현을 위해 1990년부터 2003년까지 시공된 충청남도 민유임도의 임도설계서를 검토하여 적용공종의 변화를 분석하고 평가하였다. 임도사업비의 변화추이는 사업연도에 따라 꾸준히 증가되었고 특히 환경친화적 녹색임도 구현을 위한 임도정책이 수립된 1999년과 2000년도에 사업비가 대폭 증가한 것으로 나타나 비교적 견실한 임도시공이 이루어질 수 있는 기반이 조성된 것으로 판단된다. 또한 토공사업의 비욜은 1999년 약 25.4%에서 2000년부터 2003년까지 토공사업비 평균비율이 18.5%로 감소된 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 토공의 비율이 줄어든 것과는 달리 비탈면보호공이나 구조물공의 총액은 상승하였으나 비율은 거의 증가하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 적용 구조물의 규격확대와 적용 물량의 증가에 따른 자재대의 비율과 제경비의 상승에 기인한 것으로 구조물공과 비탈면보호공에 소요되는 재료가 증가한 것으로 판단할 수 있다. 향후 공사비의 증가가 적용 구조물의 규격확대와 투입량 증가만으로 이어질 경우 임도시공 노하우와 경쟁력 약화를 초래할 수 있으므로 보다 다양한 공법의 적용과 개발노력이 요구된다.

  • Recently, with traffic SOC investment policy changing from road-centered to railway-centered according to environment-friendly and sustainable development, issues regarding overlapping and overinvestment of traffic facility have been raised. Regarding investment of various traffic facilities of which departure and destination are similar to each other, academia, civic organizations, government, etc. are recognizing problems including overlapping investment of budget, environmental destruction, etc., but not suggesting definite solutions. Objective transportation network analysis is required because various positive effects including solutions of delay/congestion may occur due to provision of alternative way and distribution of the amount of traffic when accidents occur, as well as negative effects suggested by some of civic organizations in various transportation facility investment of similar departure and destination. Hereupon, this study tries to suggest a tool that can objectively evaluate interrelations of transportation network by applying multi-criteria analysis including economic feasibility regarding analysis of interconnections between and within means of transportation.

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches a limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there exists a gradually increased need for railway vehicles that are environment-friendly, punctual, reliable and safe. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. Korean High Speed Train has been developed for last 6 years to satisfy the need. Authors developed a measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of performances of Korean High-Speed Train. The measurement system is composed of software part and hardware part. Perfect interface between multi-users is possible. A new method to measure temperature was applied to the measurement system. By using the system, measurement and evaluation of the mechanical characteristics of motors and main transformers in Korean High Speed Train was conducted during test running. The measured results for the temperature characteristics of electric devices verify that the measurement system is accurate and reliable.

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches the limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there is gradually increased a need for railroad vehicles that are environment-friendly and have time regularity, reliability and safety. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. We developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of korean hish speed train. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we is studied for electric apparatus performance of railway vehicle using sensor. In order to this test is developed signal conversion system. Using this system, we obtained important result for pantograph voltage, battery voltage, axle speed, and running speed.

Running Characteristics for On-Line Test of Railway Vehicle

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches a limit and environmental problems become serious, there exists a gradual increasing need for railway vehicles that are environment-friendly, punctual, reliable and safe. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. Using the developed installed measurement system, the performance characteristics of railway vehicle could be monitored precisely. After recording the input real time data of each signal from railway vehicle to the network line, we could acquire the needed information through post processing program. We could verify the running performances of railway vehicle using this system. As a result, many latent defects have been found and corrected in the prototype train. The measurement systems have contributed to dramatic reduction of the developing period.

한일 패키징 콘테스트 수상작에 관한 비교 분석 (Comparative Study on the Packaging Contest Winners' Work of Korea and Japan)

  • Compared to the 2007 packaging contest winners' work of Korea and Japan, their packaging trends have been studied in this study. Environmental-friendly packaging have been turned out the main trend at the same time in both Korea and Japan markets in this comparative research. In applied technology aspects, there was a remarkable distinction compared to packaging technology of both countries; Korea's technology was evaluated out to be lagged behind Japan by three or four years in this study. The road map for future packaging development plan shall be suggested by following comparative studies from the annual packaging contests which are supposed to be held in many developed countries.

친환경 제설제의 융빙성능 평가 (Evaluation of Deicing Performance for the Eco-Friendly Deicer)

  • 최근 들어 철근 부식, 콘크리트 포장표면의 박리파손, 환경 피해 등 염화물계 제설제의 사용에 따른 각종 피해가 보고되고 있으며, 이를 위해 대체 제설제의 개발을 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 개발된 제설제의 성능평가에 대한 연구는 대부분 실내실험을 위주로 한 기초적이고 제한적인 성능평가에 의존하고 있는 선정이다. 특히 제설제의 융빙성능은 제설제가 갖추어야 할 기본적인 성능으로, 합리적이고 체계적인 평가방법을 통한 융빙성능의 평가가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 연구를 바탕으로 보다 구체적이고 현실적인 융빙성능 평가방법을 수립하였으며 그 절차에 따라 본 연구진에 의해 개발된 저염화물계 친환경 제설제인 EFD(Eco Friendly Deicer)의 융빙성능을 평가 및 검증하였다. 실내실험 결과, EFD는 국내 고속도로에서 사용 중인 습염식 제설제와 대등한 수준의 초기 융빙성능을 나타냈으며 2회의 현장살포 실험을 통해 EFD의 융빙성능을 검토한 결과, 전체적인 융빙성능이 습염식 제설제의 융빙 성능에 비해 큰 차이가 없음을 확인하였다.

농업용 저수지 유역의 보전전략 수립을 위한 특성평가지표 개발 (Development of Evaluation Indices for Preservation Strategies for Agricultural Reservoir Watersheds)

  • The agricultural reservoir watershed plan suggests three specific indices or ways to measure the potential for maintaining reservoir quality in balance with existing or proposed uses: an index of the reservoir's vulnerability to accelerated eutrophication, an index of the degree of land use intensity in reservoir watersheds, and an index of present water quality. Three items that contribute to reservoir eutrophication are included in the vulnerability index: the ratio of reservoir volume to drainage-basin area, shoreline configuration, and mean depth. The watershed land-use intensity index is based on road proximity and upland watershed land-use intensity. Water quality can be given a COD level. All six indicators are considered separately and then rated as follow: low (1), medium (2), or high (3). Five out of 30survey sites were less than 8points, 17sites were less than 11points and 8sites were less than 14points. This study suggests that the sites in the first ranking were potential areas for preservation, sites in the second ranking were potential areas for environmental friendly planning and sites in the third ranking were potential areas for residential need oriented planning. The advantage of this study is the low cost of gathering data for the development of local policy for the planning, management and protection of reservoir basin.
