요양병원 간호사 및 간호조무사의 낙상예방활동 실천의 방해요인 (Barriers to the practice of fall prevention by nurses and nurse assistants at geriatric hospitals)

  • 노인은 낙상의 위험이 높고, 낙상은 심각한 손상을 유발함으로써 재원기간과 치료비용을 상승시켜 환자 가족뿐만 아니라 국가 경제에도 부담을 초래한다. 따라서 낙상 예방 활동은 간호사와 간호조무사 업무의 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 본 연구는 요양병원에서 근무하는 간호사와 간호조무사가 직면하는 낙상 예방 활동의 방해요인에 관한 사실적 맥락을 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 36명의 요양병원 간호사 및 간호조무사를 대상으로 초점면담을 실시하였으며, Elo & Kyngäs의 귀납적 내용분석 방법에 의거하여 면담자료를 분석하였다. 환자 요인, 환경 요인, 개인 요인의 총 3개의 카테고리가 도출되었으며, 환자 요인에는 '저하된 인지 기능'이, 환경 요인에는 '인력지원의 부족'과 '낙상 위험을 고려하지 않은 입원환자 배정'이 개인 요인에는 '무력감'과 '비난에 대한 불안' 등이 포함되었다. 환자의 건강결과를 향상시키고 사회적 비용을 줄여나가기 위해 낙상 예방 활동을 증진하기 위해서는 요양병원의 간호 인력을 점차적으로 늘리고, 낙상위험에 따른 병실 배정 체계 마련, 간호 인력의 교육 및 지원 시스템을 보완할 필요성이 있다.

  • 1985년에 온천관광지 조성계획이 추진되었으나 2017년 현재까지도 지역간 환경갈등이 지속되고 있는 '문장대 온천 관광지 조성사업' EIA의 사례연구를 통하여 환경소송의 한계와 ADR로서 EIA 제도의 적용가능성에 대하여 고찰하였다. 환경영향의 과학적 사전예측으로 사회갈등 환경갈등을 예방하기 위한 민주적 절차인 EIA 제도를 통하여 지역주민 의견수렴 및 'EIA 협의의견'을 환경 거버넌스 차원에서 의사결정 과정에 반영하면 환경소송의 폐해를 미연에 방지하게 되어 ADR로 기능할 수 있다. 우리나라에서도 EIA 주민참여 범위를 'Aarhus 협약' 수준으로 확대된 공중의견 수렴제도를 점진적으로 도입하여 실질적인 ADR 기능을 강화시킬 수 있다. 막대한 영향을 미치는 개발계획 및 개발사업에 관련된 의사결정 과정에 공청회 등의 거버넌스를 통하여 사회적 형평성 및 환경적 지속가능성을 핵심으로 하는 EIA 제도는 궁극적으로는 우리나라의 지역차원에서 SDG를 구현시킬 수 있는 적합한 ESSD 수단이 될 수 있다.

프리스트레스 콘크리트 거더의 LCA기반 환경영향 분석 (LCA-based Environmental Impact Analysis for Prestressed Concrete Girders)

  • 도로의 부속시설인 교량은 시공과정에서 콘크리트 및 강재와 같이 환경영향이 큰 자원을 다량 소비하며 이로 인해 큰 환경적 부담을 발생시킨다. 교량의 시공으로 인해 발생하는 환경영향을 줄이기 위해서는 초기 설계단계에서 합리적인 자료를 토대로 환경영향에 대한 검토가 수행되어야 한다. 이 연구는 초기 설계단계의 교량형식 선정과정에서 LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) 기반의 환경영향평가가 가능한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기 시공된 4가지 형식(일반 PSC거더, IPC거더, e-Beam, DR거더)의 PSC교량에 대한 설계자료를 수집하고 LCA를 수행하여 환경부하 원단위값과 영향요인을 분석하였다. 분석결과 IPC거더의 환경영향이 가장 작게 나타났고, e-Beam의 환경영향은 IPC거더 보다 133.7% 크게 평가되었다. 또한 콘크리트, 철근, PC강연선, 각재, 쉬즈관, 강판이 PSC거더 전체 환경영향의 약 98.5%를 발생시키는 주요인자로 도출되었다.

  • Recently, environmental pollution by livestock excretion is gathering strength as livestock industry is advanced on a large scale. Bio-gas is generated more than about 70 precent if remove impurities in the course of extracting bio-gas to use livestock excretion. In this paper, we developed a device that can use it in heating after extracting bio-gas from livestock excretion collected in livestock farmhouse and can supply electricity by using generator developed in itself. Also, because this system is epoch-making no discharge system to solve smear of existing method, it is expected that we have effects to prevent environmental pollution and get alternation energy and burden on the institution to treat livestock excretion of a pig breeder is solved, if use it.

Assessment of electricity demand at domestic level in Balochistan, Pakistan

  • Electricity is basic need for country development. But at the present time proper planning and policy is require at high pace for power generation network extension due to the increasing population growth rate. Present study aimed to analyze the present and future demand for electricity at household level in Province of Balochistan of Pakistan via simulation modeling. Data of year 2004-2005 was used as baseline data for electricity consumption to predict future demand of electricity at both rural and urban domestic level up to subsequent 30 years, with help of LEAP software. Basically three scenarios were created to run software. One scenario was Business-As-Usual and other two were green scenarios i.e., solar and wind energy scenarios. Results predicted that by using alternative energy sources, demand for electricity will be fulfill and will also reduce burden on non-renewable energy sources due to the greater potential for solar and wind energy present in Balochistan.

  • Active tuberculosis (TB) has a greater burden of TB bacilli than latent TB and acts as an infection source for contacts. Latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is the state in which humans are infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis without any clinical symptoms, radiological abnormality, or microbiological evidence. TB is transmissible by respiratory droplet nucleus of $1-5{\mu}m$ in diameter, containing 1-10 TB bacilli. TB transmission is affected by the strength of the infectious source, infectiousness of TB bacilli, immunoresistance of the host, environmental stresses, and biosocial factors. Infection controls to reduce TB transmission consist of managerial activities, administrative control, engineering control, environmental control, and personal protective equipment provision. However, diagnosis and treatment for LTBI as a national TB control program is an important strategy on the precondition that active TB is not missed. Therefore, more concrete evidences for LTBI management based on clinical and public perspectives are needed.

  • Globally, South Korea is a country that has a lot of $CO_2$ emissions and has steadily increased its total greenhouse gas emissions since the 1990s. With the recent implementation of the carbon emission trading system in Korea, the importance of calculating $CO_2$ emissions of construction equipment is increasing, hence the need for accurate calculation of environmental penalties through allocating carbon emission rights. This study presents a methodology to predict the price of carbon credits using big data analysis method. This methodology is based on correlating and regression analysis of trends in carbon emission prices and search volumes. This study aims to support faster and more accurate budget calculations in the planning of the construction process based on the predicted price of carbon emission rights.

대학 운동부 학생들의 스트레스와 여가만족과의 관계 (The Relationship between Stress and Leisure Satisfaction of College Student Athletes)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between stress and leisure satisfaction of college student athletes. The participants comprised 140 of the college student athletes. The measures were composed of stress inventory and leisure satisfaction scale. The data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 Version frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were performed. The level of significance was set up .05. The results were as follows: First, according to college, there was significant difference in economic burden, environmental condition, and course factor. Second, in regard with multiple regression analysis on relationships between the stress and leisure satisfaction of the college student athletes, discriminative evaluation, environmental condition, and course factor had positive effect on leisure satisfaction.

국제환경협약이 우리나라 수출산업에 미치는 영향분석 : 기후환경협약을 중심으로 (Analysis on the effects of the UNFCCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) on the Primary Exports Industry of Korea)

  • This study is to investigate multilateral environmental agreements,mainly UNFCCC on the primary export industry of Korea and to make a policy recommendation. Mostly literature reviews are focused on the traditional multilateral environmental agreements and the for the most part analysis are conducted prior to the Paris agreement. The result of survey indicates that many companies have not yet felt burden on their business due to UNFCCC(decarbonization) and have monitored the related policies. But the companies ask the government for strong incentives. The paper implies that enforcing strong government incentives, upgrading usage of the nuclear power, improving the related government legislation, setting up the special task force team with government and private sectors are needed.
