The surface characteristics of calcined ${\gamma}-Al_2O_3$ particles as well as ${\gamma}-AlO$(OH) sol particles were controlled by aging in the boehmite sol preparation. As a result of the study, the IEPs of ${\gamma}-AlO$(OH) particles were decreased from pH 9.25 to pH 8.70 and those of the calcined ${\gamma}-Al_2O_3$ particles were decreased from pH 9.90 to pH 8.86 by the increase of the aging times. As a result of the acidic and basic characterization of the calcined ${\gamma}-Al_2O_3$ particles by the aging, the amount of acid sites was decreased from 0.1367 mmol/g to 0.0783 mmol/g by the increase of the aging times and Hammett acidity, $H_o$ was showed the acidic strength of 4.8 or above. On the other hand, the amount of basic sites was decreased from 0.4399 mmol/g to 0.3074 mmol/g by the increase of the aging times. Based on these results, we proposed the fact that the aging step in the sol-gel process was an important step to control the surface characterization of ${\gamma}-Al_2O_3$ particles including acidity and basicity.
It has been investigated about aging theory. However, aging mechanism still remains to be unknown. Aging and aging related diseases might be due to oxidative damage and these were modifiable by genetic and environmental factors. For designing an optimal medical treatment and countermeasure against aging and aging related disease, it is necessary to understand the aging mechanism. Acetylcholine(Ach) plays an important role in memory. If someone doesn't have enough Ach, he has a tendency to catch a Alzheimer's disease. Corydalis tuber has been clinically used to treat heart disease, gastrointestinal disease and other diseases including endocrine disease in Oriental medicine. The purpose of this article is to investigate the inhibitory effect on Acetylcholinesterase and scavenging effects on NO, DPPH of Corydalis tuber Acua-acupuncture solution(CTAS). The results are summerised as follows; 1. There is a significant inhibitory effect of $0.01mg/m{\ell}$ CTAS group at 20, 30, 60 minutes and $0.1mg/m{\ell}$ CTAS group at 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes on AchE. 2. There is no significant scavenging effect of CTAS on NO. 3. There is a significant scavenging effect of $0.1mg/m{\ell}$ and $0.01mg/m{\ell}$ CTAS group at 10 minutes but there is no significant scavenging effect at 20, 30, 60 minutes on DPPH. There is a significant scavenging effect of $1mg/m{\ell}$ CTAS group at 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes on DPPH.
Explanted mammalian cells perform a limited number of cell division in vitro and than are arrested in a state known as replicative senescence. Such cells are irreversibly blocked, mostly in the G1 phase of cell cycle, and are no longer sensitive to growth factor stimulation. Thus replicative senescence is defined as a permanent and irreversible loss of replicative potential of cells. For this characteristic, replicative senescence seems to evolve to protect mammalian organism from cancer. However, senescence also contributes to aging. It seems to decrease with age of the cell donor and, as a form of cell senescence, is thought to underlie the aging process. Extensive evidence supports the idea that progressive telomere loss contributes to the phenomenon of cell senescence. Telomeres are repetitive structures of the sequence (TTAGGG)n at the ends of linear chromosomes. It has been shown that the average length of telomere repeats in human somatic cells decreases by 30∼200 bp with each cell division. It is generally believed that when telomeres reach a critical length, a signal is activated to initiate the senescent program. This has given rise to the hypothesis that telomeres act as mitotic clocks to regulate lifespan. One proposes that cumulative oxidative stress, mainly reactive oxygen species generated from mitochondria, may mainly cause telomere shortening, accelerating aging. Here, the biological importance and mechanism of replicative senescence were briefly reviewed. Also it was summarized that how oxidative stress affects replicative senescence and telomere shortening.
By the application of novel double detector system of micro-PIXE that can detect light elements (Z<14), we made an attempt to provide a thorough discussion on the aging processes of Asian dust (hereafter called "AD") particle by reaction with sea-slat. The elemental spectra and maps obtained from the microbeam radiation of micro-PIXE to individual AD particles were useful for fractionating AD particles into both internally and externally mixed particles. A spatial distribution of elements in a minute domain of single particle obtained by scanning the microbeam irradiation enabled us not only to estimate the chemical mixing state of individual AD particles but also to presume their aging processes in both ambient air and cloud. By calculating the normalized micro-PIXE net count of elements, it was possible to classify individual AD particles into three distinct groups (i.e., (1) Aging type 1: AD particle coated by the gaseous Cl evaporated by the reaction between artificial acids and sea salt; (2) Aging type 2: AD particle mixed with sea salt but no additional reaction with artificial acids; and (3) Non-aged type) A relatively high transformation rate (63.3-75.9%) was shown in large particles (greater than $5.1\;{\mu}m$ in diameter).
In this study, an aging deformation statistical model for a unique high and steep rock slope was proposed, and the aging characteristic of the slope deformation was better reflected. The slope displacement was affected by multiple-environmental factors in multiple scales and displayed the same tendency with a rising water level. The statistical model of the high and steep rock including non-aging factors was set up based on previous analyses and the study of the deformation and residual tendency. The rule and importance of the water level factor as a non-aging unit was analyzed. A partitioned statistical model and mutation model were established for the comprehensive cumulative displacement velocity with the monitoring study under multiple factors and multiple parameters. A spatial model was also developed to reflect and predict the whole and sectional deformation character by combining aging, deformation and space coordinates. A neural network model was built to fit and predict the deformation with a high degree of precision by mastering its feature of complexity and randomness. A three-dimensional finite element model of the slope was applied to approach the structure character using numerical simulations. Further, a three-dimensional finite element model of the slope and dam was developed, and the whole deformation state was analyzed. This study is expected to provide a powerful and systematic method to analyze very high, important and dangerous slopes.
Like other countries undergoing the aging of the population, increases in the aged population have raised serious issues in Korea. The proportion of elderly will be foreseen over $14\%$ of population in 2019, over $20\%$ in 2026 in korea. Due to the rapid increasing in the aged population, it calls for social countermeasures urgently, And recent researches about attitude to the aged find out in general negative attitude to the aged of other generations. It is thought desirable that comprehension to the aged of the commonalty should be educated on the school basis or a variety of informal ways. The study aims to determine the space formation of the senior simulation center that suggest to be considered for the effective education and preparation for the aging of all social members, particularly for the younger generation. In such space formation, it is important to work out a plan of efficiency education according to the systematic environmental setting with a focus on the minimization of problematic behaviors and living disabilities of aging, as interactive experiences gain malfunctions by aging. This study is expected to promote a focus on the integration of the whole generations and improved design management for the environment of a welfare policy for the aged.

The winding problems of traction motor are the major determinant of motor's life. The root cause of winding failure is gradual deterioration of the insulation due to thermal, electrical, mechanical and environmental stresses. The aging of the insulation reduces the electrical and mechanical strength of the insulation. At same point, a voltage surge or mechanical shock from a traction motor start will fracture or break down the insulation. To achieve the expected life usually requires extensive laboratory evaluation of the insulation systems and the use of accelerated aging tests. There are several nondestructive test available for checking, the condition of motor insulation, the probable extent of aging, and the rate of which aging is taking place. So the insulation characteristics of stator coil were each analyzed by measurement of dielectric loss(tan$\sigma$), capacitance and partial discharge. The method of diagnosis is able to analyze the insulation condition and evaluate the life of the traction motor.
Bipolar disorder is a mental illness characterized by extreme mood and behavioral swings, such as highs of euphoria and lows of depression. It is a socially significant disorder in which people with the disorder experience intense mood swings and, for those with severe bipolar disorder, it is even difficult leading a normal life. High stress levels in people with mental illness can lead to neuroendocrine disruption, and it is strongly linked to aging. When the neuroendocrine system becomes vulnerable to these mental illnesses and stress, it is likely to accelerate aging. And it's the epigenetic clock that can measure the extent of this accelerated aging. The Epi clock, a pan tissue clock, measures aging through DNA methylation, and the degree of methylation is modified and changed by environmental conditions in the body. Therefore we wanted to check the changes in the epigenetic age of the patients with bipolar disorder. While we found no significant differences in epigenetic age, we did confirm the possibility that people with bipolar disorder have different methylation than normal people. We also found that the EPIC array data fit better on the Epi clock than on the Horvath clock with age-accelerated data from normal people.
