This study has significance in terms of its intent to contribute to the increase in hospital revisits by proposing measures to enhance name awareness through an examination of the relationship between the name awareness of public medical institutions and patients' revisit, and its corresponding influences. The study findings were drawn by employing analysis methods such as frequency analysis, reliability and exploratory factor analysis, t-tests, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results of the correlation analysis showed statistically significant correlations between all independent variables and the patients' revisit or not. The perception of service quality and the environmental factor of medical treatment increased the explanatory power of independent variables, thereby exhibiting a high correlation with the revisit to medical institutions. The usual image, medical service, and medical treatment environment were revealed to have a positive influence on the patient's intent to revisit. This study could confirm a correlation between the name awareness of medical public institutions and the patients' revisit or not. Consequently, to improve the quality and infrastructure of their medical services, public medical institutions are required to perform studies on measures to increase the revisits of patients by identifying their image, medical services, and treatment environment on a consistent basis.

Environmental shape objects not only play a part as various cultural facilities but also symbolize local unique culture beyond the limit of functional role. Therefore subway environmental shape objects should be approached in terms of public installations and art and should be designed to accommodate and meet the needs of subway users appropriately. In order to find out what subway users think about environment shape objects in subway stations, the factors that can evaluate awareness and preference for environment shape objects and visual image of environment shape objects were examined and analyzed. Positive elements were shown with regard to environment shape objects a lot but it is judged that visual quality of subway environment can be deteriorated if environment shape objects do not harmonize with the characteristics of station environment.

This paper is intended to investigate the awareness of the elementary school students about the natural environment preservation. For this purpose, 21 elementary school students from the 5th grade of elementary school located in Gwangju city were selected. Especially, we focused on the students' conceptions related to 1) the environments, 2) the safe national land development activity to face several natural disasters and 3) the environmental preservation with the national land development. To evaluate the change of students' conceptions for the national land development, the students were also participated in establishing the plan of the national land development using the model of the natural environment after learning in detail about the natural environments. The results of this study showed that most of the students recognized the concept of the environments as a simple knowledge itself and pollution rather than the protection of environment. In the course of the safe national land development activity to face several natural disasters, the students expressed standardized answer indicating the knowledge based thinking of the environments. According to the results of the environmental preservation with the national land development and the hypothetical project of the national land development, the students did not have enough knowledge for the natural environment preservation although they had understanding of natural disasters and environmental preservation. Therefore, it is necessary to stress affirmative concept for the environment related to the preservation of natural environment. Also we need to develop the syllabus, which is related to the environmental studies, in the elementary educational program leading students to participate in the environmental preservation with the national land development reasonably and practically.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between environment problem recognition, eco-friendly attitude, and eco-friendly nursing practice. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 191 hospital nurses from October to November, 2012. The data were analyzed through t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. There was a positive correlation between environment problem recognition (r=.46, p<.001), eco-friendly attitude (r=.36, p<.001), and eco-friendly health care in the hospital nurses. The explanatory power of the variables accounted for 35.0%. This study indicated that it is necessary to promote the awareness towards environment problem and eco-friendly attitude in the hospital nurses in Korea.

The purpose of the study is to determine how consumers perceive certification marks for agricultural products. The study examined three agricultural product certifications, such as the certification of environment-friendly agricultural products, Good Agricultural Procuts (GAP) certification mark, and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) certification mark. A survey was utilized for data collection from adults over the age of 19 in November, 2013. A total of 390 questionnaires were distributed, and 300 of those were obtained for an analysis of the study. The results were as follows. First, consumers' awareness of, image of, and credibility on the agricultural products with the certification marks were not significantly different among the three certification marks except consumers' awareness. Second, consumers' purchase intentions for and willingness to pay for the agricultural products with the certification marks were not significantly different among the three certification marks. Third, these variables were not significantly different between buying group and non-buying group except consumers' awareness. Lastly, buying group and non-buying group were significantly different only in gender and marital status. The findings offer implications to the food and food service industry regarding consumers' purchase of certified agricultural products. Further, the study enforces the roles of food industry for environment.

The government has defined domestic violence as one of the four major social evils and tried to prepare laws and systems to prevent it. Nevertheless, domestic violence has emerged as a serious social issue, and compare to the number of domestic violence cases that are constantly increasing, the report rate of domestic violence is significantly lower. This suggests the need to improve citizens' perception of domestic violence as the issue to solve it together in society, not as a private matter at home. Most of existing contents for preventing domestic violence and improving awareness are simple viewing forms of video contents, which have little effect on recognition. We aim to confirm the possibility of improving social awareness about domestic violence by producing Virtual Reality (VR) contents that have great features of user's immersion and empathy. In this VR content, the user can interact with various objects in the virtual reality of domestic violence and directly or indirectly experience the victim's position. Users who view the violent environment from the victim's point of view can have a subjective empathy for the problem, which is expected to induce more active awareness about domestic violence.

VR and AR are widely used in many applications to provide more immersive visualization and natural interaction for learning and experiencing virtual but realistic tasks. Energy saving is considered as one of the most important issues throughout the world in order to overcome global warming and energy crisis. In particular, the awareness of home energy saving is regarded as a first step to deal with this issue. In this paper, we suggest a new learning environment using virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) for home energy saving experience. In particular, it presents a comparative study of the user experience in home energy awareness using immersive virtual reality and mobile augmented reality. The first person user experience using immersive VR wearing head mounted display (HMD) and the third person user experience using mobile AR are implemented and systematically compared with each other in terms of the learning effect of energy saving and qualitative usability. Implementation results will be given to show the advantage and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Adaptive services need to become as mobile as their users and be extended to take advantage of the constantly changing context in which they are accessed. Context-awareness is a technology to facilitate information acquisition and execution by supporting interoperability between users and devices based on users' context. The objective of this study is to develop a middleware fer dealing with context-awareness in ubiquitous computing. To achieve it, our middleware plays an important role in recognizing a moving node with mobility by using a bluetooth wireless communication technology as well as in executing an appropriate execution module according to the context acquired from a context server. In addition, for verifying the usefulness of the Proposed middleware, we develop an application system which Provides a music playing service based on context information by using our context middleware.

Since existing location-based services suggest a search result, not considering user's environment, intention, or preference, situational awareness is required to resolve this problem. In this paper, an Android-based situational-awareness dynamic scheduling will be suggested and a tourist information service application will be embodied and tested. In other words, a real-time tourist scheduling service that calculates an estimated travel time from user's location to destination and reminds a user before the expected departure time will be developed. In addition to tourist information, an added scheduler provides convenience and improves its functionality.

The study surveyed the health risk factors and risk assessments status preventing accidents and incidents in beauty workplaces. In addition, the health safety awareness technicality was categorized. The research results were as follows. Beauty workers (about 60%) were exposed to health hazards regarding the skin, respiratory, muscle system during more than half of their working hours. On the other hand, they recognized the need for risk assessments in the workplace. The health safety awareness in the workplace differed according to the status of the risk assessment and the category of business. This provides the basic data that can be activated to manage health safety standards for workers and an unspecified number of people.
