철강기업의 환경경영이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of the Environment Management on Steel Enterprise' managerial Performance)

  • 최근 환경문제는 사회적 이슈가 되고 있을 뿐만 아니라 기업경영에서 차지하는 비중이 증가하는 추세이다. 본 연구는 환경경영체제의 하나인 ISO 14001 인증을 받은 철강기업을 대상으로 인증 전후, 인증 기업의 규모 및 인증 유지기간 등이 경영성과와 어떤 관계에 있는지를 분석하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인증 전 후의 경영성과 분석결과 인증 이후 부채비율이 유의하게 낮아졌으며, 매출액증가율은 유의하게 높아졌다. 둘째, 인증 유지기간에 대한 분석결과 기업의 위험성을 나타내는 유동비율, 부채비율 및 고정장기적합률이 인증기간이 길수록 개선되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 인증기업의 기업규모변수로 상시근로자 수를 이용한 분석결과 매출액총이익률과 총자산회전율이 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 넷째, 인증 전후에 대한 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과 부채비율과 매출액증가율이 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 상품권 시장에서 모바일 상품권이 차지하는 비중은 해마다 큰 폭으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 소비자 입장에서 보면 모바일 상품권은 여러 가지 문제점을 가지고 있다. 공정거래위원회에서 불공정약관을 지정하면서 조금씩 개선되고 있으나 상품권을 발행한 기관에 등가로 교환되지 않는 문제점은 해결할 수가 없다. 이 문제점을 해결하기 위한 가장 현실적인 방법을 사용자끼리 교환이 가능한 환경을 조성하는 것이다. 결론적으로 편리하고 신뢰할 수 있는 안전한 거래가 보장되는 P2P(Peer to Peer) 기반의 모바일 상품권 거래 중개소가 구축된다면 모바일 상품권 시장의 확대, 사회적 비용 감소 등 건전한 유통 환경 조성에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 현대의 레이더는 큰 클러터 환경에서 동작하기 위해 넓은 동적 영역을 요구한다. ADC(Analog-to-Digital Converter)가 발생시키는 스퓨리어스(spurious) 신호는 넓은 동적 영역을 구현하는데 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ADC의 비선형 특성에 따른 능동 위상 배열 레이더 수신기의 이득을 분석하였다. ADC SFDR(Spurious Free Dynamic Range)은 시스템이 요구하는 동적 영역을 한정하고, 제한된 영역내에서 ADC SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) 손실을 고려하여 ADC 동적 영역을 설정하였다. 그리고 계산된 능동 위상 배열 레이더의 안테나단 출력 잡음 전압과 ADC 입력 잡음 전압을 비교하여 수신기의 이득을 구하였다. 끝으로 응용 예제를 통한 전체적인 내용을 살펴보았다.

  • As globalization is widely expanded in Islamic world as well as huge capital like oil-money is looking for new investment areas, our government should keep eyes on the current situation of Muslim market. This study will focus on the research of operation model of Islamic insurance. It will analysis on the institutional aspects of Islamic insurance(Takaful) system, which is a step further on the basis of these previous researches about Islamic finance. Takaful is conducted with various machanism such as Wakala, Mudarabah, Waqf. The mechanism can also be intermingled with one another to form other diverse contracts. However most of them are focused on basic conceptual elements of Islamic insurance system. As public interests in Islamic insurance are increasing these days, many Islam related literatures are issued accordingly. But most of them were focused on basic aspect of Islamic financial system or on the study of business management structure. The conceptual approach to evaluate the Islamic insurance market shall become the foundation of operation in conventional business law and regulation penetrate to the Islamic business environment. Therefore, the research of the operation model in Islamic insurance system as well as the search of trade engineering basis.

국내 지상파 방송드라마 해외 판매 특성 : 판권 유형, 거래 단가, 국가 간 차이를 중심으로 (Characteristics of Exports of Korean TV Dramas : Focused on Types of TV Right, Exportation Price, Differentiation between Countries)

  • 본 연구에서는 한류 열풍이 시작된 지 십 수 년이 지난 현재, 한류 열풍을 이끌고 있는 국내 지상파 방송사의 드라마 해외 판매 특성을 살펴보고, 수출 활성화 방안을 논의해 보고자 한다. 특히 미디어 환경의 변화에 따라 프로그램 수출 유형이 어떻게 변화하고 있는지 그 추이를 살펴보는 것이 연구의 목표이다. 한국방송 드라마의 실질적인 판매처라고 할 수 있는 아시아 국가를 중심으로 국가별 판매 단가와 판권 유형이 어떻게 진화하고 있는지 살펴보는 작업은 새로운 부가사업 실현 가능성과 함께 방송 드라마 수출의 향후 10년을 준비하는 데 유용한 정보로 활용될 것이다. 분석을 위해 지상파 2개 방송사의 자료를 수집하였으며 빈도 분석 및 교차 분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 지난 10년간 수출국의 다변화와 거래 단가 상승, 판권 유형 다양화 등 한국 방송 드라마의 해외 수출에 있어 적지 않은 변화가 포착되었다.

  • A Digital Broadcasting Satellite (DBS) receiver converts digital A/V streams received from a satellite to analog NTSC A,/V signals in real-time. Multi-tasking is an efficient way to improve the utilization of the processor core in real-time applications. In this paper, we propose a hybrid approach with a balanced trade-off between hardware kernel and multi-tasking programming to increase a system throughput. First, the schedulability of the critical hard real-time tass in the DBS receiver is verified by using a simple feasibility test. Then. several soft real-time tasks are thoughtfully programmed to satisfy functional requirements of the system.

오염할당부하량의 초과현황 및 초과해소를 위한 삭감계획 유형에 따른 페널티 적용방안 (Excessive State of Pollutant Load Allocation and Penalty Application Schemes based on Pollutant Reduction Plan Types for Solving Excessive Problem of Allocation)

  • Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) system was introduced to manage pollution load of watershed and to improve water quality of unit watershed so that it is possible to protect dringking water soureces. Load allocation observation is the most important factor in TMDLs system. Because if load allocation is not observed, it is difficult to achieve water quality goal of unit watershed. Also it is impossible to improve water quality of the drinking water sources. Therefore it is necessary to apply some kind of sanctions (penalty) in case of excess of load allocation. The sanctions have to be, however, applied differently based on various reduction plan types, i.e., using the reduction load planed in 2nd phase, delay the completion, additional reduction in 2nd phase, error of the pollution sources, etc. Moreover, the penalty load should be properly imposed, lest it should be overburden the provence. The reduction load trade inter province must be restrictively permmitted only the same unit watershed.

선박 해양오염방지관리인 교육·훈련 교육과정 개선방안에 관한 연구 - 국내·외 법정교육 비교·분석을 기반으로 - (Improving the Ship Marine Pollution Prevention Manager Education and Training Curriculum - Based on a Comparative Analysis between Korean and Foreign Legal Education -)

  • 국내·외 무역을 위한 해상운송의 양적증가는 선박 및 해양오염사고 증가의 주요한 원인 중 하나이다. 선박에 의한 해양오염사고 예방 및 경감을 위한 각국의 관련 법·제도 시행에도 불구하고, 선박 종사자에 의한 인적과실(부주의·고의 등)이 해양오염사고 발생의 가장 큰 원인으로 보고되고 있다. 선박 기인 해양오염사고 경감에 가장 효과적인 방법 중 하나는 선박 종사자에 대한 체계적인 교육·훈련을 통해 인적과실을 줄이는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 「해양환경관리법」 등의 국내법령에 근거하여 시행 중인 선박 해양오염방지관리인에 대한 법정 교육·훈련 교육과정의 적절성을 검토하고 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 법·제도가 우리나라와 유사한 일본의 해양오염 및 해상재해 방지 관련 법정교육·일반교육 과정과 비교·분석을 수행하였으며, 우리나라에서 시행 중인 육상오염방지 및 안전관리 담당 전문가에 대한 법정교육 사례를 조사·검토하였다.

기술창업시 전략적 지향성이 창업성과에 미치는 영향 (A Study of the Impacts of Strategic Orientation on the Performance in Technology-based Start-ups)

  • Purpose - Appropriate response to the fast changing economic environment determines SMEs' competiveness in the era of globalization and open market and, therefore, government policies to strengthen SME's competitiveness will be very important in the future. It is time to investigate the element of strategic orientation that is necessary for strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs, and its effect on the success of a business start-up. This study analyzes the network orientation in addition to existing strategic orientation, and focuses on price and quality management capability as mediators for strategic orientation and outcomes of business start-ups. Research design/data/methodology - The orientations of technology-based business founders were classified into market, technology, network, and entrepreneurial orientation. We then investigated the effect of these orientations on product price and quality management capability, as well as the influence of price and quality management capability on the outcome of a business start-up. This study is based on the nation-wide survey of the founders and members of technology-based business establishments. The survey was administered to 300 selected companies via email for a period of one month, at the end of which 175 companies replied with valid answers. Further, for effective and objective research, we used SPSS 14.0 and Amos 7.0 for structural equation modeling assumptions and hypothesis verification. Results - Except for entrepreneurial orientation, the other three orientations, namely, technology, market, and network orientations, affect the price management capability according to our results. The price management capability relates significantly with the sales and customer satisfaction. Especially, technology orientation is the core competency of start-ups that affects price and quality management capabilities. However, technology and entrepreneurial orientation do not influence the outcome of business start-ups, but affect their quality management capabilities. Conclusions - This study confirms that the strategic orientation affects product price as well as quality management capabilities, to introduce new products and achieve successful outcomes. In conclusion, new business founders face the dilemma of trade-off between price and quality in the planning stage of new product development. In particular, price management capability directly affects the outcome. Therefore, price management is more important for a successful start-up than quality management. Especially, during the initial stages of starting up a new business, price management capability entails following the market-leading company, or price penetration strategy. In this stage, price management is dependent on the information from outside rather than on the founder's decision, and it directly affects sales performance and customer satisfaction. In contrast, quality management capability is directly related to the technology capability and market experience of founders. In this case, subjective and proactive decision making is required for differentiation and development of demand in the niche market, which does not directly influence the sales performance and customer satisfaction.

한국, 일본, 글로벌 택배기업의 효율성 및 생산성 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis on Efficiency and Productivity for Korea, Japan and Global Parcel Delivery Companies)

  • Purpose - The parcel delivery service(courier) industry all over the world has been expanding its market so far, but its growth has been declining in recent years. In this situation, most parcel delivery companies are having trouble with managing themselves because of the pressure from the customer to increase service level and decrease the rate. The purpose of this study is to provide ways to improve competitive advantages of the parcel delivery service industry by evaluating the multi-period operating efficiency of Korea, Japan and global service providers. Research design, data, and methodology - The data for the period of 2011 to 2014 were collected from the annual reports published by parcel delivery companies. In this study, we analyze the marketability (revenue), profitability (operating profits), and management conditions (net profits) of parcel service companies by combining information on human resources (number of employees) and material resources (total assets and equity). Therefore, the number of employees, total assets, and equity are selected as input variables, and revenue, operating profits, and net profits as the output variables. In this study, DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) is used to measure the comparative efficiency and MPI (Malmquist Productivity Index) is used to analyze the trend of change of the efficiency for a multi-year period. Results - The operational efficiency scores of medium-sized parcel delivery companies in Korea are higher than other larger competitors such as Korean, Japan and Global larger companies. As of 2014, Logen(1.878) was found to be the most efficient parcel delivery enterprise, followed by KGB (1.224), and Kyoungdong(1.002). Otherwise, Hanjin(0.235), CJ(0.262), Hyundai Logistics(0.657), DHL(0.611), UPS(0.766), FedEx(0.498), TNT(0.350), Yamato(0.762) and Sagawa(0.520), larger sized companies, were done inefficiently. The productivity of parcel delivery companies is influenced by endogenous factors as well as exogenous ones such as changes in business environment and technological advances. Conclusions - Korean medium-sized companies have relatively high efficiency scores in operation. That is why they still survive the competitive market in Korea where market restructuring on the industry has been expected to be conducted for many years. The reason why medium-sized couriers had higher efficient scores than larger couriers is that most of couriers spend more operating expenses versus unit price of delivery which is the amount of money that is needed in order to send a package by parcel service. So the delivery unit price must be taken into account by all the expenses associated with the cost of fuel, labor and maintenance expenses for facilities, etc. therefore, the unit price must be increased to strengthen business competitive power. In order for the industry to have more competitive advantage, the companies need to make profits by increasing demand volume and raising the delivery rate to provide high-quality delivery service to customers. And both endogenous and exogenous change must take precedence in order to strengthen their competitiveness.
